Two weeks into our exclusive SCT game with PlayON and just about everyone has beaten Motts till now. Given his competitive nature, I can tell you he is absolutely seething. He has barely been sighted all week, hiding in his cave……doing the form, crunching the numbers and plotting his revenge. We will be running an extra thread on Friday night for the live results of Beat Motts through our sponsors at PlayON.
PlayON have a wide range of Fantasy Games for Friday night. Entry fees range from $1-$20 and you can take on multiple Coaches or go Head-To-Head with a mate. There are also plenty of qualifiers for the $100k AFL Supercontest which takes place in August. No need to worry about Champion Data’s baffling scoring system, PlayON keeps it quite simple. Possessions = points! Don’t worry about Disposal Efficiency or uncontested possessions or one-percenters…….disposals, tackles, goals & hitouts will get you a big score!
Here’s how you can Beat Motts (again)……….
Adelaide stumbled against the Bombers in Rd1 but have been quite impressive over the last two weeks. Their form is strong whereas the Pies just won their first game last week. In a lacklustre performance, the Magpies beat the old rival Carlton by four goals. Adelaide are justifiably favorites here at Adelaide Oval…………
Rory Laird (ADE, DEF, $16M) – Only one player has touched the footy more often this season than Laird and that’s Tom Mitchell. As a result, Laird is averaging 128 Fantasy Pts per game. Collingwood has stated that Rory Sloane could be tagged on Friday, leaving Laird to sweep across the half back line unattended again. Will rack them up!!
For the next DEF spot, it’s a toss-of-the-coin between the two rookies, Tom Doedee (ADE, $6.6M, 73 pts avg) & Sam Murray (COL, $6.8M, 74 pts avg). Both have performed beautifully over the first three Rounds and it just comes down to personal preference really.
Tom Lynch (ADE, FWD, $12.4M) – Not much to choose from up FWD from either side. Lynch came through his first game of the season unscathed last week and I’d expect further improvement here against the Pies. More mobile than Walker and Jenkins, Lynch should see more of the ball up the ground.
Good luck, Coaches!
