Poll – Dangerous Times

Written by Schwarzwalder on March 27 2018

Lisa requested this one in the Polling Station yesterday.  If you need a poll done, then that’s the place to do it……….

Many Coaches took the chance and started without Dangerfield in Rd1.  Others have successfully used him as the loophole option with Holman picking up 96pts.  Will you be trying to get Dangerfield in this week?  Or are you waiting for a possible price drop?  Tell us about it below……..

If you started without Dangerfield, are you bringing him in this week?

  1. If danger isn’t in your team you probably started with a premium or fallen premium to replace him. If they go 130 plus no big issue yet… But if your chosen player is faltering get him in asap no iff’s or butts. His monster weekly scores outweigh him maby getting re-injured.

  2. I had Liberatore and have enough in the bank to trade him for Dangerfield, so I could do it.

I would rather wait and see whether his impact may be diluted (and price drop) with the arrival of Gary Ablett Junior.

  3. I traded him for Zerrett !!! I think the risk is too much given the price….both a hammy for the first time, and likelihood of much more forward time. There are other safer options likely to go huge it would seem..far more than other years. Even with Zerrett, I was top 15% and despite $290k. My problem is what to do with that flog Robinson.

  4. I went with GAJ and have the money to trade for Danger. Now I’m in a quandary.

I thought Gazza looked a fair bit off the pace against Melbourne and still managed a lazy 116, despite too many clangers to mention. He just reads the play so well, he seems to have all the time in the world. He can only be better for a game under his belt, we just don’t know how they’re gonna set up and therefore score.

No trade for me yet. Am just gonna hope that Dangerwoodlett can do something similar to Swan, Pendlebury and Beams back in the day.

Fingers crossed, though any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

  5. I’m going for him. Basically what sold me is not many others seem to. Good or bad call time will tell and I’m happy with that.
