  1. Oh absolutely, MJ.

Tim Kelly’s priced at only 461k after pumping out 180 as virtually the Eagles only inside MID v the Saints, so he’s probably the pick of the bunch. Others include Dusty, Viney, B. Smith, Brayshaw and maybe even Coniglio to respond after being dropped.

If you’ve got a touch over 500k, Miller, Parker and Duncan are all great options as well.

    Best of luck.

  2. Have 1 trade & $170000 cash. Plan was Doc to Lloyd but Doc lost to much $.
Can afford anybody else, leaning towards Jack Crisp who will be a POD
Never asked for advice b4 but any commetts will be greatly received.
    $400 at stake.

    1. Pretty much in the same boat except i can afford Lloyd..
Crisp looks an interesting POD but wary of his gameday role.
I am seriously considering the merits of Laird and Ryan.

TU Ryan (vs Dogs in Cairns)
TD Laird (vs Tiges in Adelaide)

..or Lloyd (vs Cats @ Metricon)

  3. I think I’m going to get Daniel Rich, form is excellent and the Lions should win handily. That, or I can go full retro and get Houston back in after sacking him in Round 2

  4. Doc is by far the most traded out player this week. Here are the most popular choices of the masses so far:
    Daniel – 562 teams
    Laird – 457
    Ryan – 419
    Barrass (!) – 246
    Houston – 222
    Rich – 214
    Williams – 206
    Crisp – 199
    Lloyd – 197
    Maynard – 177

  5. Kept Docherty all year and with no trades left so Docherty remains in team.
Can’t complain too much. Remarkable effort by Doc to play as many games as he has after all injury setbacks .
Hopefully Cottrell is named or Gould for his first game who I traded in about 8 weeks ago thinking he was on verge of being selected .

  6. My plan is to have Simpkin as an emg – if he scores above 80, I’ll take that and downgrade draper so i can turn Doc into a premium (Stewart or Ryan).
If he goes low then I can trade riccardi to Rozee and Doc to Rich.
Fingers crossed simpkin goes large, but I don’t like the chances.

    Whaddaya reckon??

    1. Any opportunity to loop Simpkin is a good one I reckon’! Hopefully he does go at least 80+ but he’s looked so far off the pace lately, complete 180 from his early season form.

      1. I’m also nervous about trading him straight away because I’m not keen to use a trade on game 1 – who knows if there’s gonna be any late outs?!
Can you see any better value than the Rich/Rozee combo – I’ll have around $775k to play with all up..
        Cheers

        1. Sorry mate, all I can suggest is go with your gut. Considering your budget, Rich & Rozee seem like the best value though. It’s all a gamble when you get to the lower end players.

You are right about trading though, try and do it as late as possible. These ‘day before’ line-ups are an absolute killer!

  7. Out of trades, so Doc being out is a bummer. Fortunately I’ve got Rivers and Greaves on the bench, so I’ll chuck the E on Rivers, hope he goes 80+, and if he spuds it up then Greaves can have a crack.

  8. Thoughts on Johannisen?

102 in his last game, Bulldogs playing a must win game, and could be a good POD for a grand final?

  9. Thoughts on Blicavs?

He is basically the priciest player I can afford and I want to wait until Carlton play to make the trade so I can see if Sholl’s score is worth loopholing. Note I already have Caleb Daniel.

    T/U: Blicavs
    T/D: Rich
