Poll – Golden Brown

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 26 2018

‘……never a frown with Golden Brown……’

Doc has asked the question of Ben Brown (NTH) in the Polling Station and we’d like to put it to the Coaches out there.

Brown is favorite to take out the Coleman Medal at the moment and has averaged 92.6 pts from all 13 games played till now.  His last 5-Round avg is sitting at 95.  With only 4.4% of Coaches willing to take the risk, is it worth jumping on Brown for the last nine weeks?

His last nine opponents are: ESS (A), GCS (H), SYD (H), COL (A), WCE (H), BRL (A), WBD (H), ADE (A) & STK (A).  Five of those games are at Etihad Stadium with the Collingwood match-up at the MCG.  Interstate trips against Brisbane and Adelaide are winnable.

Is Brown worth a shot at F6?

Is Ben Brown (NTH) a viable option for the last nine weeks?

  1. Not for the last nine rounds, but I am looking at him for the league finals against BRL, WBD, ADE and STK. Could be the difference in those sudden death finals.

  3. Prefer the choon to the player. What a song that was back in the day?! Not a bad player either … but not for me.
Just feel Nth may fade to grey and with it so will Ben’s numbers. Sorry RB 😉

    1. PS apologies also to RB’s Mum, Dad, wife, son, sister, brother and great-uncle Joey, the original kangaroo
