Poll – Heeney vs Macrae

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 21 2017

Natopotato88 has been a keen user of our new Polling Station lately.  It looks like he’s down to his final upgrade in the FWD line and can’t split Isaac Heeney (SYD) & Jack Macrae (WBD).

After missing the first month of the season, Heeney has averaged 103 since re-joining the Swans line-up.  With more midfield time, he’s fast becoming a must-have up forward in Supercoach.

Jack Macrae was very fortunate to be named as a dual-position player this year.  It’s been to the advantage of many Supercoaches however, with his 101 avg from all 12 games so far.

If you were forced to pick just one of these guys for your final FWD upgrade, who would it be?

Who would you rather have as your final FWD upgrade?

      1. Yeo, Greene, Dahlhaus, Franklin, JJK, Roughy
I was going to trade Roughy this week but it may have to be JJK

        1. No worries! With JJK reportedly out for a couple more weeks, you should be able to find room for both Heeney & Macrae. Poll is at 50/50, can’t go wrong either way. I tend to lean towards Heeney as Swans are in better form and have the more favorable draw…..

          1. I was looking at Heeney, but i am annoyed that JJK has another injury as i will be cutting it close with trades now and i have held him over the byes and i had the chance to trade him last week

                1. Channel 7 news interview with JK himself, original injury was calf issue and slight Achilles strain but both have been dealt with. No new injury

  1. I’d say Heeney, Macrae has only topped the tonne once since Wallis has been back in the side… Not sure if that’s a direct correlation between him and Wallis, or as a result of the Bulldogs poor form, but Heeney seems a bit more risk averse at the moment

  2. The absolute most relevant question I’m dealing with ATM. Can’t really split them – so might have to punt Steele and get both!

  3. I would say you almost need both?
Surely has to be the definition of risky running both JJK and Buddy … unless you can afford the luxury of playing one as F7 and use a loop on them? (would take some good planning!)
