  1. A couple of POD’s to consider:

    Harris Andrews: ($455,000, BE: 23), season average: 90.6, 3-round average: 109, 5-round average: 94.0

    Jason Johannisen: ($476,600, BE 65), season average: 94.3, 3-round average: 101.3, 5-round average: 100.4

  2. I’d add Williams with Whitfield out for an extended period. If he is back in this week he is surely a good chance after large scores with Whitfield out

  3. Just from a Port supporter, it’s worth watching Dan Houston in his next game. Played centre midfield on the weekend for his 98, and already has a 5-round average of 99.

If he’s a midfielder from now he’s a possible selection.

    1. I’m a Port supporter too and have been looking at Houston to maybe trade him in but I will wait until after the bye to see if he still plays midfield with Rocky & Wines to come back in probably after there bye.

  4. Is there an option to vote for whoever can stay on the park for the remainder of the season.

Seriously, I’ve had injuries from Newman, Williams, Andrews, Whitfield (TWICE!!), Moore, Scrimshaw, Collins and Hore. That’s ridiculous at the halfway mark!!!

  5. I’m surprised Laird is so high on this list. I started the year with him, but I reckon he’ll just end up with an overall average of 95-100. Plenty of defenders are looking to average 100+ this year.

    1. Great average if he plays every game…gonna outscore Whitfield, and maybe Hurn. Pts win leagues…..not averages.

  6. I’m surprised Hurn is rated second. The question was who would score the most points, not the highest average … Hurn will miss the next 2 games with a hammy. That will put him at least 200 points behind the top 4.

  7. H Andrews ( BE 23) comes in for Whitfield this week. I can fit him into my Bye structure down back and I don’t want to pay more later.
It also frees up nearly $100k for other upgrades.

    I’m also taking a punt on Conner Blakley. ( in R13 )

He was highly regarded preseason before his injury.Since his R 9 return he has been building nicely. I see more mid time as the season progresses.

A 105 v Collingwood at the MCG sealed the deal for me.

    My Defence will then be..

Lloyd, Williams, Sicily, Andrews, Blakely , B Smith. Duursma*

Duursma* will be my last upgrade post Byes, Hopefully to Hurn.

    Best laid plans eh.

    1. 7 in defence in the “premo” category (will Smith and Williams get there?) – I’m jealous!!
