Poll – Tomahawk

Written by Schwarzwalder on May 29 2019

Damo asked the question in the Polling Station and we’re happy to help out……..

Tom Hawkins is coming off one of his best seasons in 2018 and has started pretty well in 2019.  Currently running at an 98.5 avg and with a favorable draw ahead, shoud we look to get Tomahawk into our final sides?  Is he in your Top6 FWDs from this point onwards?

Are you considering Tom Hawkins (GEE) for one of your last FWD spots?

    1. he scored well it seems against some serious sides last year on his run home … and you just gotta love how Rance stopped him in Round 20 … may not always translate to SC points, Rance – but a big loss to the game and Tigers this year!

  2. I am only wary of Hawkins because of the team he plays for, not him personally. How many Geelong forwards can you have? Dangerfield, Kelly, maybe Menagola and to lesser extend Dahlhaus. Throw in their mids and there is a lot of quality players vying for points. Will monitor his scoring and decide post byes.

  3. I picked him up in round 16 last year and was very happy with the return. Will be highly considering him again this year. He’s priced nicely at the moment, hopefully another low score before the byes and he’ll be ripe for the picking come round 14

    1. I considered Cameron, but he hasn’t played a full season since 2015 and that shoulder of his isn’t looking good.
