  1. Probably the hardest one to choose for me. Could only pick 2-3 with lots of confidence as many other choices just look like they will miss the odd game.

Franklin out for 1 week at least. Greene coming back from injury + hot head. Robbie gray has a poor record. They might have the top 6 averages but total scores is unknown

  2. Am I allowed to say that I actually like Sicily? Yes he’s a flog I agree. But at leased he’s not a robot. Every week it’s whats he going to do now lol. The game needs characters.

    1. I feel kinda bad for him. While he deserves it, it must be hard to have so very many people know about your severe flog tendencies and acts.

  3. Seriously considering bringing Mundy into my side this week as POD. Incredibly consistent so far, and has the scoring history.

      1. Can we do a Poll??
        Currently,
McLEAN, FRANKLIN, WALTERS, SICILY, WESTHOFF, FRITSCH, Garlett, Fogarty
Trying to save trades, but having done none last week am going to have to do something.
Minimum will be Bonner out, swing Sicily back and bench him, bring in Guelfi or similar, but if Buddy is gonna miss more than one …

    1. I’ve had him all season.

How people went Billings over Mundy at seasons start astounds me.

They both have the nasty R14 bye.

Billing has played 1/2 a season of good footy at the back end of last year.

Mundy has very solid SC history over many years and is DPP.

I guess they expected Freo to be Sh*t and The Saints to be on the way up.

      Jump on the Mundy train.

      1. I’ll put my hand up as I had Billings from the beginning.
I was expecting Freo to hold and St. Kilda to improve slightly.
Additionally, Mundy is no spring chicken, so I expected he would either be rested or would see a drop off in his scoring in the latter third of the season. I’m not sure on that but I still think it’s a strong possibility.

      1. If Vlaustin, Caddy and Graham come back Higgins may be squeezed out still and playing 5 days later might mean that his playing load needs to be managed.

  4. Have to agree this is the hardest. After Heeney, maybe Gray, McLean and Mundy without certainty, you could pick any of them. Reaffirms that prioritising the MID 8 is a must (better averages anyway) and address FWD line last. Going OK anyway with only one rookie fielded since the start of the season.
Am going to straight swap Heeney IN for Franklin when this torturous round finally comes to an end, given Sicily is certain to be back in a week and Franklin’s injury sounds a little more complicated than just a bruised heel. Even if he is back sooner rather than later foot issues are a NO NO for me, especially in DEF and FWD lines. The evidence for that is in his last three weeks’ SC pts.
It WILL mean holding either Bonner or Brayshaw for one more week though. If Brayshaw is named for the derby I was probably going to keep him anyway (should only have a BE of around 26 this week, whilst Bonner will be 63/64).

    1. I like him. Looks back for good. Playing like a man possessed. Gotta be hurting watching his beloved Tigers win the flag last year. Seems hellbent on winning one himself I reckon.
