        1. Aka Sandilands/ Dean Cox combo of sc years gone by, the rucks make a great vc/c option over the others

  1. Is Mitch Duncan the ultimate POD at 1.4% ownership?

    Averaging 112.3, including a 3 round average of 130.3 & 5 round average of 126.6

Besides the dreaded Round 13 bye, Geelong have a dream run home as they only play four current top 8 sides in their remaining 12 games. Geelong’s last four games: Fremantle, North Melbourne, Brisbane & Carlton.

        1. I think some people have taken Wighty as saying Duncan has the bye in round 14, instead of he’ll be in my team in round 14.

    1. He does it all. We look to get it in his hands for inside 50 entries and if he’s close enough you know he’ll kick the goal from anywhere. Very safe pick.

  2. Would love another edition of Rate My Team. I’ve got no idea what to do this week, need advice.

    1. I’d maybe wait a week on that so we get to the start of the byes then have one just after the byes. This should be good for rating team and their prep for the byes and then rating them for the run home

  3. Is it worth trading a premium to Whitfield this week due to his low BE? Williams being injured makes it seem justified and Smith being a stepping stone, but what about players like Crisp, Newman, McGovern?
Those 3 premiums are in 6-7.5% of teams and averaging 90 but Whitfield averaging 116 with a injury affect 45. That is a 25 point difference every week and a difference in byes.
Being told not to trade your premiums, but trading to an uber premo???

    1. You definitely want Whitfield.
I would not classify either Newman or McGovern as a keeper.
The question is how you prioritise your upgrades. Is moving from Newman/McGovern to Whitfield your highest priority right now?

      1. The earlier you get him the more points you gain from that average difference. Now is the cheapest he will be for a while until another sub 100 score comes in.
The priority is a part under question, and Crisp is playing no better than the other 2.

  4. Poll on top ranking (D/M/F) for the rest of the year, not already in the top 5 by average. Looking for community guidance for under-priced trade targets through the byes. Those already averaging maximum numbers will typically have price tags to match.

  5. Poll for: Do I need a good psychologist who specializes in Supercoach victims now, after the byes or at the end of the season? 😛

  6. Maybe I have missed this but potential for a job security article? In particular wondering about Fort’s JS – unsure of cats ruck setup but is he backfilling an injury at the moment? ETA on injured players coming back in who could compromise spot could be handy to know. Cheers!

    1. Can anyone explain the impact of mid season rookie draft in SuperCoach – will they be available to trade in? How will Champion Data adjust the total value pool whether they are available or not?

          1. Thanks mate…at least Shiel has a bye to lesson his weeks out, and I’m not alone with Young. I can survive this week if one of Moore and Danger get up.

  9. Trade brodie Smith or keep brodie Smith ,
With Laird and now Milera back his points will most deffinately drop as we seen on the weekend.
Along with that a high BE will see his price drop further with another 60 odd.. if you started him as a stepping stone, would it not be the best idea to offload him now ?

    1. Laird, Milera and Smith were all playing together early in the season when Smith was racking up tons, why would you think his output will drop now? Milera played forward on the weekend, so it wasn’t he who was taking Smith’s points. I think Smith just had a down game.

      1. Smith with his late Bye, is a hold for sure.

        I see him as a keeper D6/7.

The Crows have a great draw coming home, He just can’t be the weakest link in you’re side.

        HOLD!

  11. Not overly relevant to the polling station, but this thread is probably the best place for me to ask this.

I have to get Young off field ASAP, and will do so by trading Clark to a premo forward via Burgess next week. My first preference would’ve been Daniel (already have all the obvious forwards), but Dogs have the bye, so that’d be a pretty stupid trade to make next week.

However, as not trading to a premo fwd would mean I have to field either Burgess or Young next week (I know, tough choice, right?) I’d rather make the trade and complete my forward line. My only other affordable premo option would be Jameron. Do we see him as a top 8, or even a top 6, forward? Or has he benefited recently from an easy draw and will likely revert to 85-90 scores, a little like TMac last season?

  12. Max.

Its the start of the Byes ” next week”.

You score best 18 on field , Burgess is unlikely to feature, and Young will miss anyway.

I would avoid upgrading this week if you can. Anyone you get in will miss a week with the byes anyway.

Try and downgrade this week and next. Build a bank.

R13/14 you can safely upgrade to any R12/13 Bye players.

    Hope that helps.
