Polling Station – Rd13

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 12 2017

The very existence of this website is to assist each other in our Supercoach pursuits.ย  Over the past two weeks, we’ve posted numerous polls that were requested by our fellow Coaches.ย  This thread is the easiest way for that to happen.ย  If there are any polls you feel could assist yourself and your fellow SCT Coaches then leave your request here.ย  We’ll do our best to organise your polls over the course of the week………..

  1. Another “best team poll”, like the one conducted earlier in the season to see who we should be targeting towards the end of the year would be excellent IMO

  2. I’d like to see how many people will jump on Ainsworth at his price or if people are just willing to miss him

  3. I want to see if everyone (after their round 13 trades) will be at full premo. That is always the idea but found it tougher this year, I’m still a couple away.
    Also how many trades ppl will have left after byes.

    1. Like it but we all have such a different interpretation of “full premo”. We’d need to have some parameters. Is Witts a premo for example?

      1. Minimum averages you would want form here on out:
        DEF: 90 (19 players exceed)
        MID: 105 (25 players exceed)
        RUC: 95 (7 players exceed)
        FWD: 90 (20 players exceed)

        You obviously want majority of your lineup to be top 6-10 but the last few spots can be the 10-20 picks value picks as it’s only a few points per game.

          1. “Newman is fast becoming a semi-viable D6/7 short term option if funds are limited as he continues to keep his average north of 90 with an 89 points against the Bulldogs. Putting his elite kicking skills to work yet again….”

      2. Agree. Maybe ‘is your team finished’ poll. I have Witts and see no reason to move him so I’m counting him!

  4. Maybe another poll on Fyfe as he has the bye this week and see if he should be traded out for people to make 18 players this week

    A few are planning to trade him out and it has split people in the trade talk

    1. Great idea for a poll so we can all voice our collective opinion to not trade out a Brownlow Medallist who is in a form slump.

      1. In trade talk currently
        Jack:
        Apart from Scott Selwood, whom I will upgrade to a recognized premium in round 14 (the arrangements for this are already in place), my team is complete, so Iโ€™m now able to look at luxury trades.

        Goodbye Fyfe, hello Dustin Martin.

        so there is a debate behind trading Fyfe

        so i thought this Wasn’t the worst idea no need for the sarcasm

        1. Not being sarcastic at all. Think it’s a great idea for a poll as I think it’ll give us all a platform to debate sideways trading vs backing in a proven premium.

          1. A proven premium who’s spending a lot of time playing out of position, and who has come back from a serious leg injury, however.

              1. There’s an unofficial poll that I put in the Trade Talk thread.
                Current results is 13 trades and 30 holds

    T/U …. Motts will be MIA celebrating all week

  6. I reckone some general footy polls would be great.

    Some ideas:
    * Likely current Brownlow leader
    * Brownlow winner
    * finalists
    * grand finalists
    * premier
    * which club the likes of Kelly, Martin and Fyfe should choose

    You get the drift…
