Welcome to The Polling Station, where you control the content at SCT.
Last week of the Bye Rounds………are there any specific polls you’d like to see at SCT ahead of Rd14? As always, we could take a guess at the polls you’d like to request……but it’s much easier just to ask directly 😉
So, Coaches………. best trade-ins from Rd13 Bye teams? Best FWD under $500k? Going early on Griffin Logue? Whatever the issue, type it into the comments and we’ll do our best to get it happening ahead of Rd14…………

Which downgrade options have the best JS?
Dylan Clarke looks like he’s gonna be reasonable secure, GWS rd 16 he will probs get the job on cogs or kelly, that gives you at least 2 more rounds with him in.
Judging by Trade Talk, I’m going to say Zerrett v Gaff
What to do with ROB
Trade now, hold for a week or two, keeper
I agree with that.
As an owner I’m holding for a few more weeks until he hit full price or is needed for cash to make upgrades.
Honestly it comes down to personal situation & what you need him to do for your team.
I’m leaning hold, but keep in mind if you do hold it’s probably a 3 week thing & 440-500K sitting doing nothing at R3 isn’t great this time of year if you’re going for overall.
Will Jackson Hately get another game this year?
Most people don’t own Hurn or Whitfield, thus who gets the D6 spot?
Hurn T/U
Whitfield T/D
I’d say Hurn simply because you can get him in earlier, I’m thinknig og pottnially leaving Hore D6 for the time being then a last upgrade around R18-19 to Whitfield.
Which mid to grab under 500k?
Matt Crouch
Matt Crouch
Matt Crouch
Oops not 500k i meant under 550k 😛
Who are the top 5 ruckdogs in the Comp
For me…
1. Gawn
Daylight
2. Grundy
3. McEvoy
4. Goldy
5. ROB
How many trades and upgrade people have or will have after this week
Trade or hold brodie smith
Or conversely if you only have enough trades to upgrade one of brodie smith and marty hore who stays and who goes?
There was a poll about this last week, consensus seemed to be Hore over Smith.
If you are holding at D7 I’d go Smith, the draw really opens up for Adelaide & Brodie doesn’t mind an easy kill
Going a week early on this, but after the bye rounds, I’d be keen to see a poll on
1. Whether you went up or down in the overall rankings from where you were ranked at the end of Round 11, to where you are ranked after Round 14
2. If your ranking improved, by how many places
3. If your ranking went down, by how many places
Clayton or Bont?
Is goldy to Gawn a priority this week with Gawns BE at 109 and playing against freo whos without Lobb and Goldys BE at 124?
A rate my team involving current plans for RD14 as well as our likely teams for RD15.
Marshall or Daniel as F6
Oliver or Sloan
I’m interested in this as well.
Me too , probs with satin is he is not kicking it or goals , sways me
Should we take up a petition to send to the sun and age protesting that the back page of both is often a one page add rather than sport news.
Will Ablett be “rested” b4 finals?
Our now worst trade for the year so far…I’ll kick off with cogs to shiel when cogs got injured……thought I was clever saving some cash and helping out with byes. This overtakes previous worst…starting Vardy…but I did trade him to ROB !!
Preface this with my season is well and truly cooked. Is it worth keeping rob and trading Gawn or Grundy in order to make a large amount of cash for upgrades considering the rookie tree is looking fairly bare. Understand rob won’t av much more than 105 from here on in.
If you are flushing with trades a Grundy trade last week might have been a “shark move” bit late now.
Less of a poll and more of a thread idea, but what to do with ROB. For Gawn/ Grundy owners it’s more straight forward and you treat him like a normal rookie or keep as back up, but for those with a different ruck set up, there’s some hair brained schemes that need to be explored.
Totally agree…I have Goldy/Gawn/Rob. Going to wait until after this week then decide. Fort is looking like my downgrade target at the moment…cheap as and will get a chance with the Rat hurt.
