I believe my year is all but over lads. With a forward line consisting of Chappy, Tippet, Roughy, Smedts & Crozier. Swan & Broughton on the pine also, and 0 trades left.
Have a double chance but I’m not feeling too confident.
Has been an amazing year. Finished worse off overall in this (my 2nd year) but feel like I played the game better.
9 LTI’s this season may have something to do with that.

No, Johncock just a hunch to come good, but probably would not get him myself at this stage. With no Porps & Tiptruck, he is likely to pinch hit up forward & will snare a couple of goals.

Not sure about Stiffy Andy. Only had two scores over 70 for the year.
Geurra could be handy. Only had four scores under 80 for the year and has had a heap of rest lately so barring injury or suspension (surely he’ll finally pull his head in coming up to finals) he will play all four.

Bradie Hardie mentioned on perth radio last night that he knew of a situation involving Buddy and that things smelt very bad at the Hawks at the moment. He said that he was unable to elaborate any further for whatever reason but was certain that something was going on. Makes you wonder?

On paper Martin & Shaw just have the better average by 12 pts but considering the run home Adelaide & Carlton are far better off than Richmond & Pies.
IMO Adelaide and Thompson (amongst others) are going to smash these next few weeks and Yarran seems to be picking up his game a bit lately!!

Finished top 4 in all leagues so have the double chance. Also have the Franklin, Chappy, Porplyzia problem along with Broughton still on bench in the backline. Thinking of doing the following:
Trade out Franklin and Broughton
Trade in Sidebottom and Waters
Backline is then killer! (6 avg >100 ex Carrazzo’s injury effected game)
Goddard, Scotland, Carrazzo, H.Shaw, Waters, Deledio with S.Shaw, Yarran or Dempsey for the last spot.
Forwards will be ok but not great (no Beams or Dangerfield is my weakness).
N.Riewoldt, Goodes, Harvey, D.Martin, Zorko, Sidebottom, Cloke with Chappy and Porplyzia on the bench.

For a BBQ I would hold off for a week, better suited to bigger finals footy. So Fish N Chips gets my vote, and you could potentially get a double score on potato cakes on a friday night. I recommend adding in flake as well but it depends how much cash you have left.

Just checked up-dated / final teams including Sundays games. For Port Adelaide, Redden is listed 2nd on Interchange. Pfeiffer listed as emergency.
Thought they would bring in Redden as the 2nd ruckman to try and get their hands on the ball.

Trade Stanton over Swan for maybe Thompson….Adelaide’s run home is fantastic with a GCS SC Final.

Yes he is a Tagging target….but which superstar isn’t? Also with a bit of cracking down on the ‘hard’ tag recently i don’t the taggers have been as effective recently.
Anyway…..Worth noting Raines is lining up on Carrazzo this week, not Murph. Also Judd is back next week so he may take some of the Tagging heat also!

Hi All,
Desperately need some advice for my last trade! I’m up against Crawf in a knockout and purely on current average i’m looking at 2,116 to his 2189.
Therefore:
T/U Trade Broughton for Riewoldt, Walker or Fyfe via smedts, which will prevent a donut in the forward line this week and i’ll have to field 2 out of Bugg, Spurr & Suckling in the backline for the remainder of my games
T/D Trade Broughton for Enright or Birchall cop the donut in the forward line and cross my fingers that i can survive til next week when i’ll have Buddy & Porps back in.
Or comment for a different trade ie Buddy-Beams, etc etc

I held onto him in hopes of him going massive against Port and GC, now it would be only GC and it’s a hit and miss with big scores against West Coast and Sydney and now that injury cloud has genuinely concerned me, reminds me of H-Mac.
Pav on the other-hand has been on fire, Freo are determined to make the Top 8 and he’s always been a strong leader for them.

1. If Shaw is H Shaw the following
Lake Broughton out Waters Bell in.
Very Solid back 7.
2. If it is S Shaw not so good.
Probably try a Broughton Guthrie trade to Waters or H Shaw if possible the problem you have you need Lake then as a D6. Is possible but he is not consistent as Waters or H Shaw. Spurr and S Shaw are good D7, but will never hit the D6 numbers at least Lake has a chance by keeping him.
