Hey everyone
Have a do or die clash this weekend and one trade left.

Thinking of trading Dickson out and so will have 379600 to spend on a forward.

My forward line this week is: Danger, Beams, Sidebum, Martin, Goodes, Fyfe, Dickson (Couch, Sexton)

Who is the best for the money?

TUp: Tippet
TDown: JPod
Comment: Cloke (!?) or someone else or keep Dickson and upgrade Shaw to Lake/Suckling in the back line.

Suggestions appreciated!

Looks like Tippet got all clear to play. With Brisbane this week, Melbourne then Gold Coast. He could go massive the next few weeks. Im thinking bout bring him in over the next few weeks. Disagree with spoonman, Dickson has Sydney and Sydney are on the warpath after losing last week. Sydney have a track record of being hard to score against as well.

actually your right about sydney and dickson jimbo, forgot who he was playing….. i would still caution against tippett though, i’ve had him most of the year and it’s been a roller coaster…..

Who to play out of Devon Smith, Mitch Robbo or Goodes for the F7 spot? Devon Smith’s last three weeks have been fantastic and he plays Melbourne this week!

Hmmm for history of performance you would have to go Goodes. Robbo has got Judd and Murphy back and throw in McClean. GWS boys are a risk and they are not going to Win. So Goodes my vote

There’s just something about the way Mitch Robinson goes about his footy that I love. May not be the most talented player on the ground, but at least you know he won’t score poorly due to lack of effort.

You’re both right. I’m going to play Goodes, Robbo and D Smith across the FWD’s and MID’s and rest Sam Gibson and Zorko. I don’t see Collingwood letting Gibson get a lot of it and I think Adelaide will restrict Zorko from scoring big.

No games this week, scored 5 wins last week. 2 of them from top 4 spots, the others I was just outside the 8. Haven’t had any injury concerns in the last month or so, but knowing my luck it’ll be the next two weeks when my players start getting rested.

I’m sure many will hate me for it, but I’m really hoping a few of the lads get rested this week!

Sure, just not as much as I wanna win the next two weeks :P

I’m sitting just outside the top 20,000, so I’m not at the top end of things anyway – I’d rather get a couple of premierships under my belt.

Ultimately, only my first full season (came in last year at round 11-12), so even getting to this point and being happy with my team is an achievement in my eyes. I’ll be taking a more strategic approach to next season, and I’ve already got some definite ideas about who’ll make my team (and who won’t…bloody Rollercoaster Rockliff!)

Definitely looking forward to being a bit more active on this website next time round as well, now that I’m getting my head around some of the quirks of the game.

Getting back Buddy and Roughie so happy times at Roo Bloke’s Mob head offices this afternoon. Was going to sit back and not trade but Zorko >> Stevie J is just too tempting. Not often that the better, higher scoring player is cheaper than the rookie. Thanks for your brilliant services Dayne. If i can get through to the big dance and win i’ll mention you in the acceptance speech.

Then I’d take a rookie priced player, preferably mid/fwd, like couch. The extra $90k could be very useful if one of your premiums gets injured this week or rested next week, allowing you to do the best possible sideways trade. Mid link could also come in handy over the next 2 weeks. Use the stats tab above to check the rookie priced mid/fwds playing this week and go from there.

G’day guys,
I am lucky enough to have the week off and have 4 trades up the sleeve.
Do you think it is worth doing a sideways trade Goodes – Stevie J and trading Gibson for couch to free up some cash to upgrade lake-scotland next week?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers
TU: Make the two trades
TD: Just trade Gibson to free up the cash to go all out next week.

I am of the belief when you pick up a premium you stick with him. Unless it becomes a disaster year like Cloke. Each will have their ups and downs. Remember Steve J got 3 one week and did not touch the ball. Nothing worse then trading them out and they go out and get 120 the next week. You had the faith so stick with Goodes. Upgrading Lake to Scotland would do. 3 trades few games to go is great. You could have the Rioli, N Roo disaster one week as I have had this week. This time of year with your team settled use them to cover injuries to premiums.

I have 1 trade left and was thinking of trading out N Roo for Stevie J while I can afford him. I have cover for this week without making the trade, and I’m worried about Ryder and Giles in the ruck (Big O and Redden as backups). Do you think it’s a wise trade and get him now risking my ucks for the next 2 weeks or keep my 1 trade for the final 2 weeks in case I need it say for a ruckman??

As I said Russ, it happens to the top players every week. If you asked Joel himself I reckon he’d say nothing about the opposition and admit he had a poor night. Like the gun he is though, he came out in the last quarter and willed himself into the game.

It was more the umpire call that I didn’t like.

I appreciate a tough physical contest as much as the next bloke. I would just rather see 2 evenly matched blokes go head to head as opposed to 2 or 3 blokes crunching and blocking him every stoppage.
I think im more upset about his 81 then anything.

He’ll have it for the rest of his career. As will Ablett (when the Suns get any good) Judd, Franklin, Cotchin, Swallow etc. Up to the rest of the team to play their part. That’s why Lingy has been the biggest lose for you boys in the last two years.

They pushed her down a sewer

About 6 years ago in Indiana, Carmen Winstead was pushed down a sewer opening by 5 girls in her school, trying to embarrass her in front of her school during a fire drill. When she didn’t submerge the police were called. They went down and brought up 17 year old Carmen Winstead’s body, her neck broke hitting the ladder, then side concrete at the bottom. The girls told everyone she fell… They believed them.

FACT: 2 months ago, 16 year old David Gregory read this post and didn’t repost it. When he went to take a shower he heard laughter from his shower, he started freaking out and ran to his computer to repost it, He said goodnight to his mom and went to sleep, 5 hours later his mom woke up in the middle of the night cause of a loud noise, David was gone, that morning a few hours later the police found him in the sewer, his neck broke and his face skin peeled off.

If you don’t repost this saying “She was pushed” or “They pushed her down a sewer” Then Carmen will get you, either from a sewer, the toilet, the shower, or when you go to sleep you’ll wake up in the sewer, in the dark, then Carmen will come and kill you.
