Just to further explain my score. I know, a bit too in-depth. Watson had Ling tagging him, got 74 so should improve, and Martin for the Tigers got a respectible 72, taking into consideration Richmond had no one break 100.
Will leave Gumby for 1 more week on the bench, and then trade for someone who is about to make some cash after round 3 completion.

Could anyone help me clear my mind about what happens if gray isn’t listed as playing? I have hitchcock as emergency and hopefully he comes in however the rules confuse me.
It says:
“NOTE that in the 2010 competition, players who are actually named and in the starting 22 for any match, AND score a 0 for any reason, will NO LONGER be replaced by an emergency. Their 0 score will also have an affect on their value, being recorded as having played a game. ”
However if they were removed off the starting 22 what happens?

nah mate that rule is different. gray will be replaced by the emergency you have set because he didn’t play at all

That’s right. If a player actually plays, gets injured (or is benched all game) before he gains a point, then that player registers a 0. But because Gray is not even taking the field, his place is taken by the emergency.

Last year round 5 against the Tigers, Boomer was “Chicken Winged” in a tackle busted his elbow, he had no stats at all. He was taken from the ground and didn’t play for the rest of the game. He SC score was 0.

1842/20/Y Tippett and Goodwin to come. Would have hoped for a better start, but Hargrave/Gram/Dal Santo disappointed, and lets not even talk about Gumbleton. Last minute changes of Ablett out for Cross ended up not too bad, but as stated earlier the Gia for Medhurst trade hurt. Although having no Collingwood players in my team gives me a wonderful feeling inside that nearly makes up for the crappy score
So how are the people without Ablett feeling? Pretty sure he can’t hold his price, so when he get him, we get him cheaper, which must be a good thing.

Reasonably happy, have Tippy & Walker to come. Gia and Harbrow let me down, but I think there is scope for improvement in this team. Wish I’d picked Bastinac and Goose instead of Trengove and Farmer, but thats the game.
As for Gazza, I think he will improve and getting 126 on an off game is pretty good in my opinion. And even if he does devalue a bit, he will still be bloody expensive, so you will pay a price to get him. I’m happy to have him in my team.

Price only changes after 3 scores. His original price was calculated based on an average of 86.1, therefore, that is his break-even. It gets harder to work out as fluctuations in value occur. Not too dusty, Spooner. We’re 115 of 29,301. Our average score was 2,203. Our highest score was 2,355 from kb. Our lowest was 1,862. We had 4 players with 2,300 or more which was great.
Got a long way to go though to make the Top 10 leagues. Number 10 had an average of bang on 2300. Going to need everyone to step up!

What a weekend. I watched every minute of footy and there were some solid games I reckon. Seeing Fremantle not just competitive but actually dominant against a good Crows outfit was a pleasant surprise. The Swans gave the Saints a good run as well. The first half of the Dogs/Pies match had final fever about it and was the best half of the weekend in my view. Man I love footy season.
