Traded out ROK for Colin Sylvia in a last ditch chance to differentiate my boys from everyone else’s this week so I’m hoping ROK goes down early against the Hawks. Warnock was serviceable as a pinch hitting ruckman but I would’ve much preferred his 86 from last week.

Had to do big Sandy for Ryder as I’ve got a few trades up my sleeve. Seems like we’re the only early birds Mottsy

        1. 711/9/GAJ, putting Reg on the bench will cost me I think but hopefully there might be a late change. Did the same thing in DT too playing against Big Dee.

Live by the sword die by the sword.

Went a Skipper trade for Angus Graham and then a Pods for St Nick… hopefully it is enough to enjoy a week off!

Fairly happy with Gibbs’ 95 from 13 touches. Disappointed Warnock got rounded down to 57, thought he deserved more for his game. Overall pretty happy, at the score I was expecting. Hoping for a big day today!

  5. 57/1/Goddard Thought Warnock would’ve scored more. It was painful watching being a bombers man and also knowing my opponent has Judd, Simpson, Garlett and Waite all running amok. Thankfully he also had Gumbleton on the ground and has Pods too.

Reasonably happy Bower ended up on 76 and Warnock deserved more like a 75 but oh well. My opponent has Jordan Roughead so hopefully he can get 40-50 to produce a minor win for Warnock. Judd was good as always with 110.

  7. 476/7/Goddard…Malceski, Pavlich and Hodge… [Opponent is about 130points ahead same number of players played]

Unlucky for me because my opponent basically has the same players [About 70-80% are similar] and from the look of it the players he has and i don’t will most likely do well, while mine will fail for the third consecutive week…

I guess i’m just going to have to hope that they don’t do well….which is spiteful…

  8. having a shocker and to make things worse the HAWKS LOST!!!!!!
I think now we will struggle to make the eight. Games against the HOT DEES, FREO and COLLINGWOOD to come, not looking good.
Oh and looks like ive lost in SC this week to my Mrs. How can things get any worse, luckily I finished 2nd and have a double chance.

Pretty happy considering I wore a donut for Waters. Although, both my reserves got 95+, but I didn’t have the emergency on either!

Still to come Goddard, Gilbert and Cross

Waters was a late withdrawal but Strijk steps up as my emergency with a 117. Glad i played Browny over JPod with his monster score. Should win my top 4 clashes is two leagues and my elimination final in the other.

  11. 1543/17/Gaj, Infront of Mottsy by 315 but he still has 8 players to go plus Goddard as his Captain.
This going to be a close one.

    SOHK V MM
    315 Goddard
    Lake Gilbee
    NDS Joey
    Sylvia
    Webberley
    Henderson

We both have Coons and Rooey.

  12. 1841/17/Swan…. and loving it! Went to the top of the table clash last night to barrock for a player I hate…. well to be fair, a team I hate. Either way, Swan didn’t let me down…. and HUGE kudos to Harvey and Brown-dog (who I considered benching) for their 140++. Mottsy, bad week to drop ROK… but hoping a good week to bring in Montagna

Not very happy after I missed the lockout to trade Maguire to Goddard but glad I didn’t trade ROK, but I’ll guess we’ll just have to see how Hayes goes to see if me missing the lockout is a good thing. Hodge, Malceski, Pav, GAJ and Selwood all let me down by not getting the ton.

    1. Getting rid of Pav next week for Hayes and Maguire for Goddard if I can still afford both of them and everything else goes to plan

  15. 1675/17/Goodes with 4 big Sainters and one Gia to come.

Stoked to see Grundy, Enright, ROK, J Brown back in form!

Ran into Nason, Connors, Martin and a few other young tigers at a Cafe on Swan street yesterday morning. They looked the goods and I’m sure the 6 Sumo breakfasts are what we need to wipe out the D’s this afternoon.

  16. 1128/12/Goddard. Glad I finally gave up on the perma-captain. Cmon Gods. Look to have a week off next week unless Goddard spuds and my opponents captain goes off (Montagna). Lovin that my one ruck (H-Mac) scored more than my opponents two! I’ll take Sheppard as an emerg for Waters as well! Welcome back Browndawg!!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Well done Saints players!
Need Giansiracusa to score 160 and I’m hoping Roughead has a bad one and gets 30-40. Gia has got 160 earlier this season and has had 130+ on 4 occasions. It’s a big shot! C’MON GIA!

  19. 2240 and Cross still to come.

Happy with my selection of Goddard as skipper. Will win all three finals and get the week off in two.

    A very happy coach.

Unless Barry Hall scores about 300 or Jordan Roughead 150, then I’ve won all three qualifying finals to make it three out of three prelims and the week off next week.

    Also one very happy coach.

  21. 1948/20/Swan, Gilbee and Henderson to come, donut from Skipper. Dissapointed about Pav, Eski and Hodge, but I reckon that hits a lot of teams bout now. Happy with Gods, Hayes, St. Nick, Swan, Grundy and Didak. Opp is 1845 with Hall and Moles to come.

      1. I’d be blaming the Adelaide weather, guys. In shocking conditions for tall forwards, Tippett’s 46 shat in the face of Hall’s 14.

  23. 2184 winning (and top scoring in) all 3 leagues and earning a rest in the work cash league for next week. Stoked with that result in the TS50 league ranked in the 100s as I’ve had a disappointing season in overall scoring.
The decision to take the boys down south during the week to freshen ’em up looks to have paid off so far.
