Absloute cracking game by Ablett who helped out massively after I copped the withdrawals of Enright, Kenelly & Selwood. Had cover for Selwood however no defence cover. Loved being at a football match yesterday and not caring about any stat other than the score. Ripping game it was too. Although you’d have to think the Hawks wanted it just that little bit more than the Pies who already had the minor premiership wrapped up.
On another note, have already booked my flights to Sydney next week. Go Baggers!!!

2189 with Harvey to come. Season avg so far is 2232.71 so i should beat that and hopeful with all the outs people have suffered that i’ll sneak into the top 2000. Will win all 3 leagues including one that is 80th ranked league overall.
Ecstatic with the season. Pulled the right strings most of the time. Will definitely be checking the site out in the next week or two still through force of habit!!

My biggest flaw was too many silly early trades, next year I’m thinking of implementing a 6-8-6 system.
6 in the first 8 rounds to fine tune.
8 from 9-18 to cover injuries and fine tune
6 from 18-22 to cover injuries, the flu, general soreness and resting players.

Boomer, Trengove (Port), Martin and RELTON to come… yeah I’m wearing that donut… Watson, Brown, Didak, Hodge, Enright and KEPLER all warming the pine…
Season average is 2158.62 so I’m doubtful of challenging that this weekend.

One SC premiership win and one runner up, pretty happy with that. Looking forward to next year with a full pre season and a round one team with no injuries. I’ll post my average once the calculations are done.

What a crap final round… So many players out, scored my 3rd lowest score of the year, finished with 2020 with only 20 players played. Got smashed in my league in which I finished top of the ladder, opp scored over 2400…. Won by 18 points in my league which I wasn’t expecting to win….. So 1 premiership…. Will wait for the final average of my team, but I’ve got mixed feelings at the moment….

What a stressful weekend! First my boys win in a heartstopping thriller over the Pies, then I find out that Gablett has scored the house down for my opponent. He had 4 donuts for the round but Gablett’s monstrous score covered for about 3 of those non-playing players. I was able to escape with 1 donut, but that could’ve been avoided had I have selected both my bench defenders to be emergencies (had cover for Enright but not Kennelly). GRRRR. Had a 240 point lead going into the final game and he still had 2 to play. I ended up winning by 89 points. FEW! I don’t like having to barrack for Jack Riewoldt to kick another bag of 10 goals only to find the pathetic Richmond midfield turn the ball over before it enters the F50! I need a drink!!!!

2135 and lost my $320 work league by 14 after he jagged Grimes’ 21 in his first game of the season as back up for Hodge. It obviously wasn’t meant to be for me this season as I used my last trade to bring in Joel, lost Enright and had Hendo as cover in the fwds (that 15 would have been handy) and benched NicNat for the first time this season. Ended with that score as my season average.
Thanks to Motts et al for administering the site and especially the other regular posters for engaging in a wide array of topics that were always (well mostly) informative, humourous and respectful. Hopefully you can join in too next year Donny.

Won 1/3 grand finals
Got smashed with late withdrawls; Kennelly, Enright and Selwood. The two grand finals I lost were the ones with money up for grabs to! Oh well, always next season. Cheers everyone for all your help. This website is great and will be bigger and better next season. Bring on season 2011!

With my worst score for the year… 1888/Swan, I scraped home against my opponent (1843) who was also ravaged by injury and late widthdrawals to bring home the bacon in my primary league and picked up the $$$$$, so pretty stoked. in my secondary leage, I was flogged by someone who pretty much had a full team.
My Bench ended up having Brown, Didak, Cooney, Hodge, Higgins… and I also had late withdrawals from Kennelly, Enright & Selwood….. I needed 80+ from Boomer and he did the job, so pretty stoked with my first SC win, a second and and a third.
