Written by Schwarzwalder on June 28 2018

Two games down and some big names have got themselves on the board. How did you start in Rd15?

Score / # of players / VC loophole?

what the hell happened to Heeney , I missed the game , gotta be injured or flu with that score
on a better note , a little rye smile at all those who bagged me for trading in Reiwlodt @ 320k
choosing Lloyd over Simmo still paying dividends
got 1 eye on bonehead Dusty , might pick him up for finals , should be down to 330k by then , swettn out that NZ beer ..

    1. Copped a knock to the head in the first QTR. Tried to play on but taken off at half time with concussion concerns.

Massive respect to Parker, hope heโ€™s okay for next week. My disdain for Lloyds playing style has killed me this season.
Strongly considering Joey Kennedy for my final mid spot now

Went crisp in this week instead of Lloyd probably a bad call but crisp is less owned and they have a nice run home.
Heeney is another player I have almost got a few times thank God I didn’t haha
    Danger T/U
    Duncan T/D
I still haven’t decided to put the VC on tonight

Really testing my patience now, but know he will step it up. When is the question? In a few weeks is the answer Iโ€™ve been getting. So Iโ€™d hold off if you havenโ€™t got him. For now.

  5. Martin is struggling but still seeing a bit of the ball. Just butchering it every time. Looks disinterested. Isnโ€™t giving me that โ€˜Billings Feelingโ€™ just yet.

Well done Mr McLean and the Doggies more generally. Great win and you have to say, deserved. As Salamander pointed out, what a game that was last night! Couldnโ€™t take my eyes off it.
Footy is dead? Long live footy!!

Chris Scott made a good point in his press conference afterwards; both sides like to play an extra forward of the footy which makes for a more open contest and supports the idea of zoning.
What he failed to say was, that makes winning the clearances that much more critical and I should probably play Danger in the middle if our Cats want to win games. Donut.

Still torn between Danger and ANO for M8, given how much time he plays fully forward. He still manages a better average than most though and is priced about right for his output. Just have to revise expectations a little, thatโ€™s all.

Fyfe, Mundy, Savage and Gawn still to come. Looking around the other matches there’s some very big scores about.

  10. So I’ve got Wingard as my M9/F7 swing but unfortunately he’s on the mids bench at the moment (I’m planning to get him into the forward line just couldn’t swing it this week while still getting my desired upgrades). 122 is a great score so I’m considering using a loophole to get his 12 on-field. Am I taking crazy pills?

T/U: loop Wingard in and bench one of Fyfe / Oliver / Neale (if so, which one?).
    T/D: you muppet, they’ll all outscore 122.

  11. Your choice. But your guaranteeing 122.
If the benched guy scores 150 you lose 30points. Versus a possible injury or tag score. The question is will you be kicking yourself if your benched player scores 130 plus.

Almost a perfect round, just made three big mistakes! Heeney (not really a mistake I guess), Gunston (would’ve been better if he had withdrawn earlier in the week), and not putting the C (or VC at least) on Titch.
Still an outside chance at 2400 with Fyfe, Gawn, Stef and Fritsch to come, but would be satisfied with anything over 2300
