  1. 449/2/ Dangerfield

Very happy with Dangerfield as VC and will be very interesting to see if I can score 2450-2650 this week.

Scored 2525 last week with Austin and Billings filling in for Heeney and Simpson and several key premiums underperforming (Danger, Laird, Mitchell and Wines) who scored a combined 329 last week and currently this week Laird and Danger have nearly outscored the quartet (291).

Currently projected for 2580. Tomorrow will be a pivotal night with Billings being looped in the fwd line and one of Simpson/Webster being looped in defence.

    1. Lucks a fortune….with Menzel back, since grabbing him it’s the only time in 2018 I’ve put the VC on Danger truth be told!

Olango gets the (C) for the 11th time this season for Catta’s Clan. Seriously he’s got my best 1st year player wrapped up & delivered by a loooooooog way 😉

      1. Complete opposite for me.

Olango has been a complete waste. Think I’ve only used him twice all season. Mostly because I’ve had blind faith in Danger and he’s given me a 90-110 score instead of something VC worthy.

        Yep, lucks a fortune…

      2. I’m with you Catta…Olango is the best captain I have ever had, and plays at the right time for the run home….r23 the possible exception.

  2. 534 / 3 / Danger

Happy I went with my gut with Danger, needed that VC score as Mundy covering Bont and Luke Ryan on the field as D6 make me a little nervous to hold a big score. Crouch is becoming frustrating, watching him rack up the touches and get 85 points.

    1. Well done on Danger. Did think it would pay off for those who had him, but there’s always nagging doubt with him. Well played Harvs.

  3. 291/2 cripps into gawn

Have crouch on bench with the E. Should I
    T/u take his 85
T/d move angus brayshaw into mid and back howe against eagles at the g

    1. Same for me rocketsman1.

Tempted to go Sicily over Titch for V/C.

I have a feeling Berry may go to Mitchell.
He has been quite effective the last few weeks.
The Lions midfield have all been pretty good. I think Martin may dominate Ceglar, making it hard for Titch to get his usual numbers.
Sicily should still do well vs a very young Brisbane forward line.

Something to think about any way.

Looking like possibly a good week for once with Crouch and Simmo currently my only players below 110.

  5. 613 / 5 / VC Cripps (OLANGO)

Was telling my missus all last night that I had a feeling about Cripps but she wasn’t having any of it. She said “If you think it’s such a good idea, you put him as VC on your team!” What a wonderful woman.

  6. 896/Danger/ 6

Danger, Cripps, Laird & Billings thank you for the flying start, Simpson (81) & Crouch (85) only let downs

Wowwee, this is very exciting after only 2 games 🙂

    1. Of course Billings finally wakes up the week I play Catta in the Contributors League, dammit!

      769 / 5 / Cripps

There are going to be some ginormous scores this weekend…

      1. Our game looks tight, Chillo

It’s going to be a interesting week-end, with the season it’s been I’m patientally waiting for the uknowwhat to hit the fan 😉

        Good luck mate!

  7. 653/4/Dangerfield

Had Billings looped in the forward line and fielded new recruit Webster over Simpson. Used my last trade for Webster as D7 and it’s the 2nd time in the past month that a defender has been injured in his debut for my team (H Andrews RD14).

Don’t have Cripps and has been a negative POD for me this year. Had several occasions where I could have rectified it (RD2=M Crouch injured and traded to C Oliver, RD14=Upgraded Doedee to Andrews instead of my initial plan of Holman to Cripps which cost me 2 trades and 160 points in that round).

As I’m taking Billings score should I
    TU: Bench Heeney
TD: Loop T McLean and L Shuey

    1. I’m in same situation with Billings.

Tossed it around last night and decided to bench Heeney coming off concussion but starting to think maybe I will take the coaches advice and bench McLean….

  8. Feel a bit sad missing danger and cripps as Vc. But feel happy that 2 of my first 5 players have gone 150 plus.
    Titch into Gawn.

  9. 809/5 Cripps VC included.

Have to choose to bench Heeney or McLean to get Billings 125 on field which is included in the score above.

    Danger
    Laird
    Cripps
    Billings
    All awesome so far

Simmo ok, but a little below par. I forgive him though for what he has put up this year so far…..

  10. Belter of a start…

    1143 / 8 / Titch VC (will keep that)

3 players over 150 and Gawn likely to make that 4 this afternoon.

There’s going to be some big scores this week 🙂

      1. Absolutely Bruce p, a script couldn’t of been better written!

They say timing is everything, what an awesome way to start this 7 week competition for all SCT coaches with the suffix @SCT 🙂

  12. 1721/15/Gawn VC. Am gonna lose most H2H games at this rate and probably looking at a big deficit after the first leg of the SCT Cup.
Am 100% certain I should take Gawn’s 131, but thought I’d put it out there …
TU: put the C on Grundy
TD: take Gawn’s 131 you greedy bastard.

  13. 1874/15/ P Dangerfield

    9 players scoring 100+ with 8 over 115 and 7 over 120.
    6 players below 100 (J Webster, D Zorko, J Sicily, T McLean, S Coniglio, J Kelly) with only 2 below 90 (J Webster and J Kelly)

Very happy with my score considering I don’t have Cripps and J Kelly had his lowest scoring game in a win, at Spotless Stadium and in general since 2017. J Kelly only went below 90 once in his last 30 games before tonight, hadn’t dipped below 90 in his past 19 wins and only once from his past 11 games at SPO.

Remaining players are B Grundy, L Shuey, E Yeo, M Walters, R Gray, O Wines and C Wingard and to score 2600 they need to combine for 726.

  14. 1755 – 13 Mitchell

    Mitchell ,Danger, Cripps , 150+ , Stef Martin 142 , Laird, Oliver and Gawn 130 +, Dusty 110 , Smith 104 and Merrett 102. Sicily 90+, McLean 90 with a low of 81 from Simmo.

No real big guns to come tomorrow Heeney , Hurn , Yeo, Shuey , Crisp, Hoff, Wingard , Walters, and Mundy who I am rolling with rather than taking Crouch’s 85.

  15. 2277 / 18 / Titch

Gaff, Yeo, Heeney & R. Gray to play today

Sorry, don’t know how to add thumbs up/down counters…

    Q. Should I bench either Heeney or R. Gray & take ZGL score of 106?

    T/U – bench Heeney

    T/D – bench R. Gray

Thanks in advance for any advice
