  1. 420/3/Grundy VC

    Hurn (161), Grundy (144) & Oliver (115) all played.

    good start to the weekend.

  2. 190/2
    Played: C Oliver, M Hore

    Yet to play:
    Saturday: D Moore, B Grundy, R Sloane, B Smith, R Laird, L Neale, T Kelly, C Constable, P Dangerfield, N Fyfe, Z Merrett, I Heeney, T Goldstein
    Sunday: J Westhoff, X Duursma, L Baker, J Kelly, L Whitfield, S Walsh, Z Williams,

Welcoming my favourite player J Kelly in this week, regaining the services of L Whitfield, no Gawn, bypassing Grundy as a VC/C option in favour of VC: Z Merrett and C: J Kelly and only 4 rookies left in a pivotal match-up against Schwarzwalder in the SCT Contributors League.

    1. Why on earth would you VC Zerrett when his ceiling is Grundys average game? Grundy comes up against the inexperienced Marshall too, who he should dominate.

        1. What David C mentioned above as well as wanting to captain J Kelly. If I VC B Grundy I don’t think I’d be able to knock back a 125-140 score but I’m confident that Kelly can match or eclipse last week’s performance which is why I’m utilising Z Merrett as a VC. Either way there shouldn’t be a large differential between J Kelly and B Grundy this round so not bothered about the result.

    2. Never an easy game in the Contributors League (#87 overall)……unless you’re playing me this week 😉 Still eight rookies on the field now with Crouch OUT

      1. Ouch that’s unlucky. Managed to rectify my Darling selection a fortnight ago replacing him with T Kelly so J Kelly is my 2nd upgrade after the Hoff and J Macrae is likely to come in for S Walsh next week. So far I have used 11 trades but most have been rectifying poor rookies/starting selections and I’m looking forward to cashing in ROB to allow M Hore and X Duursma to be turned into S Hurn and J Lloyd finishing my backline.

Good luck for our match-up this round and hopefully it is a close one.

  3. 639/4/Gawn
I’m still yet to decide on my trades this week with my team being torn up due to injuries. So far I am trading Coniglio to Fyfe to avoid a zero, however I need to trade out either Moore or Drew to avoid a zero in the fwd line.
TU: Moore –> Boak (Has a high BE but has GC, Hawks, Saints before byes)
TD: Drew –> Dunkley (Has a low BE but plays Geelong this week)

    1. Looking at other options, I realised that I can swing Setterfield to Fwd line and get a mid premium for Drew.
TU: Options above (At this stage most likey Drew –> Dunkley)
      TD: Drew –> Macrae

  4. 498 / 4 played / vC Gawn

Is atley worth a punt I need a mid rookie or I’m copping a donut but do not rate stockers JS one bit with jones, Plowman, Williamson and Simpson all due to return in the next fortnight.

    Tu stocker

    Td atley

  5. I know this is unrelated, but has anyone else realized that Supercoach just made Breakevens and projections a pay-to-view function. Apparently you have to pay $20 a month to see breakevens. Ridiculous

  6. 334/2/Grundy

Pretty similar with Gawn and Oliver. Have Moore out now which isn’t ideal but have missed crouch/cogs.

Need o get rid of Libba though still but don’t have the cash to go a premium so

TU-Atkins to Stocker leaving me with $600,600 for a player. Although I’m only really looking at Neale or possibly Boak (via Drew)

TD-Scrimshaw out movin duursma back and allowing me to get Neale

  7. should I
    TU Take 144 from Grundy
TD Roll the Dice on Rocky.
I need to make some grounds and wipe off 25 from Captain Danger

  8. 1673/17/Grundy

Considering I have been crippled by injuries this week and had to field both Hayes (31) and Answerth (26) I’m not too disappointed with how I’m tracking. 2100 has to be sub par this week tho?
Consistent performance all round so far. No massive stand outs nor super any shockers other than the previously mentioned 2.

  9. Just making sure this is correct
1 My mid bench is as follows
    Atkins Ross Scott
I inadvertently placed the emergency on Atkins.
I can still swap Gibbons and Ross and place another emergency on Gibbons and get Gibbons score because Atkins didn’t play?
    Is this correct?
    Doing this for Grundys VC

  10. 1558/14/Grundy (VC)

Boak v. Gold Coast and J Kelly v. Carlton are possible captain options but pretty sure I’ll take the 144 from Grundy giving me
    1702/14
The two above plus Duursma, Setterfield, Cripps, Taranto, Williams and Corbett to come.
    Projected 2378.
Very happy and hopeful of a move back up the overall ladder and victory in the SCT Cup

    made 2 trades & scraped together 22 scoring players…

1287 is my current score… VC Grundy.
C on Josh Kelly at the moment. & considering leaving it there in hope he goes massive again against the Blues.

    1. That’s going to be huge this week with a lot having to play rookies that spudded up. What’s your rank Aces High?

        1. Should get into the top 1000 if you escape the usual Sunday carnage. I’m projected for 2361 which I think will be a decent score this week. Good luck for today.

  14. 1547/15/Grundy
Not owning Gawn , Neale , and one of Lloyd or Hurn , together with injuries to Moore and MCrouch is not helping the cause as well as poor onfield selections not helping cause.
    Early trade options after round
    T/u Lloyd
    T/d Hurn

  15. Well I’ll put my hand up for the dick head of the week award.
I had Hately pencilled in until Friday night teams dropped, then due to Friday beers and a rush of blood I traded in Rowbottom for cash generation, which seemed ok, until the dreaded Josh Kennedy late out, and the (E) on Rowbottom 24 pts, incredibly I’m still projected 2372.
So the lesson this week is don’t drink and Trade.

  16. 1231/13/Neale

Gawn, Neale, Sloane, Danger, Heeney (finally) All 100+

Missed seeing Drew named for SANFL, so I will be stuck with Answerth’s 26.

A good day today will hopefully push me above 2200.

TD Save the trade take the doughnut.
