Projected Scores

Written by Motts on May 30 2010

This is a handy little feature on m0nty’s FanFooty website (www.fanfooty.com.au). You can input your team into the site (doing it automatically by inputting your SC or DT login email and password is easiest) and then when you check on the live score of your team (under Game/Your Team LIVE!) you can see your team Average and Projected Score at the bottom of your team’s player’s scores.

At the moment I’m sitting on 1390/13/GAJ and I can see using FanFooty that I’m on an average of 99.3 with a projected of 2283. Which I’m quite happy with.

  1. Projected: 2614, I don’t think I’ll get this but I’ll be happy with anything over 2400, here’s hoping.

  2. Hmmm…when I clicked Game, the options were Archive/AFL Team Sheets/AFL Goalkicking/AFL Ladder….Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark, methinks!!

  3. Hmm interesting im 1352/12/GAJ and projected total is 2029, I have 21 players though as Kennelly is out, but the players I have today are great (Hodge, Franklin, Malceski, ROK, Judd, Kreuzer, Waters, Sandilands and Barlow).

  4. 2107
Quite happy considering I had 21 players, Hitchcock (20) while Rockliff (95) and Davis (88) on bench didn’t help. Bower back next week and getting Pav in my side. Am getting very annoyed with ROK, another bad day (50), I’ll just keep patient….

      1. Pretty happy so far HGL, but there are alot of coaches in SC land that are traveling just as well as me, if not better I think.

        1. No joy for me, I got a parent directory link and a whole batch of of .txt files ranging from 2007-10 each containing info pertaining to a played game. There is certainly no opportunity to input information.
At any rate, I’m thinking that this type of a projected score would be calculated by adding the average score of your unusesd players to the actualised score of your used players, which is something any of us could work out quite easily. Unless, of course, a type of algorithm program is employed to predict a players score against a particular opposition, which seems to be entering a highly speculative arena that may not be particularly reliable.

    1. Did exact same thing, 2251 with Hitchcock and Watts on the ground, David and Rockliff on the bench… terrible coaching

    1. Once you’ve input your team into the site and you’re logged in (you can tell because at the top of the screen it will say: “G’day, Ryan. Your BulldogsAreMagnificent team is in focus.”) you hover the cursor over “Game” then click on “Your team LIVE!”.

It doesn’t show Projected now because its the end of the round. Wait until Friday night next week.
