Punters Club – Schwarzwalder

Written by Motts on November 25 2014

Unfortunately Mutley joined the growing ranks of punters this time around who did not return a cent to the kitty. This week, Schwarzwalder is aiming to avoid becoming a member of that club and to kick us off he’s thrown some dough at the midweek Champions League matches.

Multi 1

Barcelona 1.25
Paris 1.36
Chelsea 1.83
Sporting Lisbon 1.30
Juventus 1.33

$15 @ 5.37

Multi 2

Porto 1.57
Barcelona 1.25
Paris 1.36
Bayern Munich 2.15
Chelsea 1.83
Sporting Lisbon 1.30
Juventus 1.33

$5 @ 18.15

And here’s his final 2 bets:

Saturday Multi

Bayern Munich ‘-1 Handicap’, 1.44 (German Bundesliga)
Man Utd, 1.33 (EPL)
Draw or Newcastle ‘double chance’, 1.70 (EPL)
Chelsea, 1.40 (EPL)
Real Madrid ‘-1 Handicap’, 1.75 (Spanish Primera Division)

$10 @ 7.97

Sunday Multi

Draw or Everton ‘double chance’, 1.61 (EPL)
Juventus, 1.30 (Italian Serie A)
Sporting Lisbon, 1.20 (Portuguese Primeira Liga)
Benfica Lisbon, 1.50 (Portuguese Primeira Liga)
Porto, 1.25 (Portuguese Primeira Liga)
Fenerbahce, 1.50 (Turkish Super Lig)

$20 @ 7.06

Good luck, Schwarzy!!

On the Group Bet front, I’ve taken the initiative and placed our last $35 on Adam Scott to finish Top 6 in this week’s Australian Open golf. When (not if) that comes in paying $1.60, we’ll roll the $56 we’ll then have onto The Aussies in the 1st Test which at the moment is paying $1.57 (but may come in over the next few days).

  1. I like our chances with that group bet after having quite a big bet multi getting up at $2.70 on the Aussies to win the cricket Friday night and then sweating it out Sunday for Adam Scott to finish top 5 in the Masters.
We will get a good ride even though it will be a small result. I reckon the Aussies might go out from the $1.57 Motts with big injury clouds over Clarke and Smith leaving them in doubt to play the 1st test which would weaken the Aussies team.

  2. All the best Schwarzwalder. Back from my yearly crayfishing trip, 12 days at sea and managed to lose 6 tattslotto tickets betting on crayfish so it goes to show you can have a gamble on anything.

  3. RIP Phil Hughes.

So sad this should happen ‘playing a game’

Here’s hoping Sean Abbott doesn’t hold himself responsible. It was a freak accident.

  4. As you can see from the weekend Multis, there is only the one tip for Bundesliga. For two reasons mainly: the first is that my BL tips have been ordinary at best over the last few weeks. And the second being that this week seems even more of a riddle to me. So I’m searching for winners elsewhere in Europe. Hopefully there’ll be some more cash in the PC kitty on Monday!

  5. And Everton lost to Tottenham despite taking the lead early on. Unfortunately couldn’t add more winnings to the PC pool. Was fun while it lasted. Good luck on that doubling down cricket bet, Motts!

  6. Couple of good bets this week, liverpool/city/united/Chelsea all to win @$6.25 is too good to pass up, and if one loses I’ll get my cash back

  7. Motts better odds than a week ago before Hughes tragic death. However Adelaide is a bit more of a flat track and the Aussies won’t have played for 2 weeks by the time the Test starts.
There has been plenty of money for the draw today backed from $3.25 into $3.10. I would always prefer to back a result and would really love to see the Aussies do it for Hughesy. So after a cracking day on the punt yesterday I have invested a ton of my winnings on the Aussies at the odds on $1.70.
Here’s hoping the Aussies get up for us!

Drank keen to see who you back in the West this week. Might have a crack as you are known to back a roughie or 2 except when you had that win for the Punters club with $1.40 pop.
