Punting Finals W3

by Motts on September 21, 2011

Just throw a ton at Collingwood into Geelong this week. It’ll pay very little but by God it WILL pay.

My other recommendation is the #1 horse on Trackside. Next time you’re in a TAB, plonk $20 on the nose as soon as you walk in the door. You’ll thank me later.

Other than that, throw a bit of money at the Bulls for the NBA Championship in ’12. Those guys are just gonna get better.

The only tempting option is hawks but I can’t actually see them winning. First goal anyone?? Haha.

Nah, get on Rockliff for most Brisbane votes @ $5.

Very good call on Rockliff, IMO he had a few 3 votes along the way

Like that bet a lot, Bill.

Wouldn’t be throwing money at the NBA just yet, Motts. We have no idea how long the season will be and how many of their best players teams will have. Denver are a prime example, a number of their regulars have signed non-escape clauses in China. Too risky at this stage to touch that league

Keep an eye on a horse called Absalon in the Guineas Prelude, might not win this week but watch out come the Caulfield Guineas currently $61 won’t harm anyone if you have a few bob each way…

Hi all. Haven’t done my punts yet for this weekend, but will post once i’ve got it done.

Just wanted to mention that since the AFL season only has 2 weeks left, and this punting blog probably wont continue outside the afl season, I’m starting a blog where we can continue talking about punts on other sports. Check it out @ http://www.dansportzblog.com and register to become a blogger. Still working on site, but should be up soon.

Motts, enjoyed this Punting blog this season and look forward to it again next year!

Good Luck with that BB. Great to have you back. I’m not sure about the RWC one with Australia, seems like a decent punt, but can’t bet against Australia, so left it alone. I tend to not touch anything that I would be emotionally involved in. Clouds judgement and ruins the pleasure of watching the game.

Anyway, I’ve gone with the following mulit:
2.10 COLLINGWOOD | Under 39.5
1.45 WEST COAST (Handicap +42.5)
1.20 MANLY SEA EAGLES (Handicap +4.5)
1.22 MELBOURNE STORM (Handicap +4.5)
1.45 Over (2.5) (CHELSEA vs SWANSEA CITY)
1.84 NEWCASTLE UNITED
1.36 FC SCHALKE 04
1.55 VFB STUTTGART
1.30 REAL MADRID (Handicap -1.0)
1.51 FC BARCELONA (Handicap -1.0)
1.70 TOULOUSE FC
3.25 Draw (WEST BROMWICH ALBION vs FULHAM)
Legs : 12

@271.91 so I put $10 on it. Fingers crossed!

Good Luck all. Lets take these bookies money!

Plenty of solid bets this week in the premier league !
Man City win (H) vs Everton – $1.40
Chelsea win by 2+ (H) vs Swansea – $1.55
Liverpool win (H) vs Wolves – $1.35
Tottenham win (A) vs Wigan – $1.90
Collingwood win – $1.26
Geelong win – $1.20

Paying $12.62, put $20 on it this week so hopefully i make a bit on the side this form this weekend !

Was also considering Arsenal win (H) vs Bolton, would have brought the multi up to $17.92, but i thought i’d steer clear of them this week..

Thinking of putting $10 on this one tomorrow…
Chelsea by 2+ – $1.55
Manchester City – $1.40
QPR v Aston Villa draw – $3.20
West Brom v Fulham draw – $3.20
Liverpool – $1.35
Paying $29.48

Wow I wish hawks proved me wrong, very gallant, they played so well. Very unlucky not to have won.

Hawks played well, but, the Pies cannot be denied. We are back @ the big dance am HGL is pretty stoked. Either opponent will be worthy & hard to defeat. We’ll need to play better than last week. Thanks again for Luke Ball, what a class act he is both on & off the field.

just crap that no agency is allowing multies for the brownlow…. so hard to get a decent win without dumping a bit of cash

Hey BB, how have you been going? I haven’t been doing to well with my multi’s. Been punting on the EPL and that. I always seem to miss out by 1 or 2 in a 10 legged multi. You got anything for this weekend?
