R1 Captaincy Poll

Written by Motts on March 27 2012

I’ve named every single bloke I thought you lot might remotely pick as captain this week but lets face it, all I really needed was 2 options.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. I’d be keen on buddy too except I’ve already told NDS he has captaincy duties this week -in his words- “no pressure, then!” hehe. Scored very handily last time we played them over there and we weren’t even playing very well. No one is rating us this week, I think we should be a shoe-in.
Last time I told him I had a bet on him for the brownlow he upped his game and came second (despite him telling me not to waste my money on him). I like to think that was my doing 😉 so yeah I’d better stick with him. Don’t stuff it up now, DAL!! 🙂

  2. Hey motts to save time next week I rekon you should just have the two options:
    Gary Ablett
    Or
    Not Gary Ablett

  3. Well I’ve done it – Kruezer for Big O, upgraded Kerridge for Dangerfield.
Might ask the question of you guys.

Thumbs up – Kruezer & Kerridge
    Thumbs down – Big O & Dangerfield

  4. Not much to talk about re the captaincy poll Deano, lock in GAJ or possibly Pendles is all there is to say.

I like your thinking S.O.S, I think Danger will be the one to have early this season. In my thinking, Danger, Lake and Kruezer are all just cheap premiums. Although I think Danger time on ground and ability to kick goals will out way Kruezer.

  6. Sometimes u have to roll the Dice and know that with a new coach brings new opertunities dangerfield has done his apprenticeship and will play more in midfield. No need to uPgrade to premium already is one.

  7. GAJ is the safe bet. Buddy the one that could really pay off though… He smashes the pies when they have their first choice backline let alone when they’re all injured!

  8. Massive may crank out another 200+ game against the WBulldogs, like he did against them last year. In saying that I’m tipping the Doggies for an upset!

Great to hear you’re making your big screen debut this Thursday on the new FoxFooty SuperCoach show.
Word is that you displayed some unique potential with Gerard Whateley in an unoffficial audition behind the scenes that won your spot! 🙂

  10. I’m going to go out on a limb here and choose a little known player called G.Ablett to be my captain this week. If he goes alright then I might make him a perma captain.
Thumbs Up-You’re crazy like a fox but it may just work out!
    Or
Thumbs Down-Who’s this guy? Who does he play for?

  11. Matt Priddis is trying his hardest to get a run in my side again this year. He was so solid last year after I picked him up as my first midfield upgrade. Does not seem to struggle with a tag (lowest score was 92 last season) and is in an improving side. Not many people pick him, so he’s a great POD (which I haven’t got many, if any of!)
Neither Pendlebury, Ablett, Murphy or Selwood want a bar of it though! They just won’t give up their spots.

  12. Hey guys what do ya make of this just read this on the Herald Sun website

Carlton Midfielder Marc Murphy didn’t participate in the blues main training session today, but teamate Andrew Carrazzo says its nothing unusual and he’s set to take on the Tigers.
Murphy ran laps and did some handball drills, but stayed out of the real action
    ahead of tomorrows MCG opener.
Carazzo said it was part of Murphys routine.
Murph’s done that the last 2 years’ he just doesn;t train the day before the game Carazzo said.
He has a good hitout’ two days before that’s just his schedule, its how his body responds, the best Murph is fine and fighting fit.

Thumbs up His a definate starter thumbs Down somthin fishy’s goin on at Blue Land

  13. Haven’t got him and would still probaly go GAJ, but Sandi against a ruck combo of Minson, Roughead and Cordy does sound like a recipe for the big fella to dominate and potentially go big.

  17. Ok help needed, to win This game you need a better game plan then your opposition. So do i go with ablett as “C” or do i find a smokey who may or may not score as high, My other option are:

Watson- Nth- has been let loose in recent games
Thompson- GCS- 45 touches enough said
    Thomas- Haw- Not to sure
    Goddard- Port- Its port
Cox- WBD- Against a not so well ruck team

So any help would be good, leaning towards Watson or Thompson
