  1. 291/3 Dangerfield(C) Treloar(VC loop)

Anyone know why the Doc only had one touch in the last term? Was following the game at work on my phone and seems like he must have been off?

  2. 159 / Martin VC Loophole

Butler 96 on bench is a killer. Have everyone playing so considering whether or not to trade in a donut to loophole Dusty.

        1. 652/7. Butler was good but pickett didn’t help. 146 pendles score as VC. Use captain loophole or chuck the C on dangerfield/Fyfe?

        2. Go Str R3, Darcy Cameron F6. You’ll get a loophole option in Strnadica and Cameron will probably get a game soon.

  3. 324/5/Danger

    Observations:
    1. I was extremely surprised to see Cripps finishing on 50 watching his game.
    2. Butler impressed.
    3. Blues fans should be excited at the prospect of Marchbank, Plowman, Weitering, Silvagni etc.
    4. Felt weird not having Martin in the team.
    5. Go Tiges!

  5. For anyone who was wondering about the TEAM……….
We did really well at the selection table! For the moment I left the TEAM as it appeared on Wednesday afternoon (TEAM A). Which means we started Butler on the field ๐Ÿ˜‰

397 / 4 / Most likely Treloar (VC) into Dangerfield
    Nankervis, Docherty, Marchbank & Butler.
    Very handy start indeed!!

    1. i did not go with nank just gwan and jaccobs hoping jaccobs was not a mistake. also have pettraca and steele crossing fingers they go off and tom lynch from gold coast he kick 7 easy just have wait and see

  6. 2/211

    Nank and Marchbank.

Surprised Martin only managed 159. I would have thought with 33 touches and 4 goals he would be pushing close to 200. Managed to get through the game unscathed though and ecstatic that two of my midpricers have paid dividends so far.

    1. Same here. It seems every season a Tiger rookie goes off in Rd 1 and there’s a mad scramble to get his points on field and then he averages 70 for the rest of the year. I’m.just happy he’ll hold his spot for a week or two!

      4

      0
      1. If I had read my own Strength of Schedule article I might have noticed the Tiger’s early schedule leads up to a nice selling point at R6. They won’t play Carlton every week, but next are the Pies, Eagles, Lions, Demons, and Crows. And even if he spuds up against the Pies and Eagles, a big score vs the Lions R4 and he should be nice and ripe R6.

Which still won’t make it a good move to bring him in! ๐Ÿ™‚

Those of us who do not own him just have to hope all the Tiger’s options up front keep him from playing enough to slow his progress up.

  7. 150 / 2 / Danger

Dumped Marchbank to get Gawn two hours before the bounce – hopefully that pays off in the long run. Chose Rance over Shaw, which didn’t work this week. And left Butler on the bench with no E, which went to Pickett. Can only go up from here!

  8. 212/2 Treloar into Danger. Very happy with the Nank and have got the E on Butler. Will wait and see tonight whether Taranto gets selected …if he doesn’t,do I

TU hang onto him and get Butler’s score
TD free trade him out for another playing rookie

    5

    9
      1. That’s a pretty good indication isn’t it, guessing it will be a non event, just take his score on the bench most likely

        3

        0
  9. 125 / 2 / VC JPK C Danger
    Marchbank & Pickett,
rolled the dice and had Butler (emerg) on bench and Pickett on the field argghhhh,
could still trade out Eddy and bring in a non-player on the field and get the butler points.
    or is that just stupid?
    t/u do the swap
t/d relax it’s along season no need to panic

  10. So far, 205 from 2. (Nankervis and Docherty) Pickett on the bench.

Treloar into Danger for the captaincy.

Still waffling like a chef on the morning shift on the last few rookies. Otten being the big unknown still.

    4

  11. 164/2

Cripps and Nank with Pickett on bench.

Cap most likely Treloar into Danger.

Very happy with Nank. Cripps….well let’s see.

    1. I reakon Cripps is going to be an elite SC scorer in a couple of years but by all reports last night he wasn’t fit and still looks to be having issues with his back. The blues should try and get him right before they play him again.

      5

      1. 124 average to finish off the season last year.

Hopefully he can become an absolute steal after the byes as he’s eased into the season.

        4

  12. 505/5 Doc into Danger
Doc, Simmo, Marchbank, Nank and Butler so not a bad start. Doc had 1 touch in last q was on the bench most of the q hopefully nothing serious.

    3

    0
  13. 370/3 – including Marchbank, Nank and Dusty (VC), will loophole him now. Had butler on the bench but not bothered chasing his points. Solid start, let’s bring on the rest of the weekend!!

    4

    0
  14. 307/3 (Marchbank, Nank, Butler)
    Riewoldt into Danger

Quick poll, probably can’t go wrong with either, but need to pick one:
    T/U: Pendles
    T/D: Jelwood

    14

    9
  15. DashingDonkeys@SCT

    302/3 JPK into Danger.

A big tick for Marchbank and Nank. Docโ€ฆ. Ho hum.

    T/U Florent.( DPP)

    T/D K Turner. ( Bettter JS )

    Can’t wait for tonight..

  16. Finally have some players on the field.
    190/2/Dangerfield
Howe a good start and D’hous to improve.

Had Butler on the bench with the E. Hopefully plays like that every week!

  17. CattasClan@SCT

    628/6/Dangerfield

Pendles, Nankervis, Docherty, Treloar, Dahlhaus & Butler on the ground….happy with the start with plenty of upside!

  18. The TEAM – StraightOutt@SCT

    817 / 8 / Dangerfield

Could be better but certainly not complaining…….well, maybe over Treloar’s score. There’ll be enough people piping up about that anyway…….

  19. Now 583 / 6 / Dangerfield

Once I finally settled on my rookies I had the cash to trade up Treloar up to Pendles, decided not to, and then saw the match has already started and I would not have been able to. Felt not as bad somehow.

No matter how much I remind myself not to worry about a a few early off scores, it is still frustrating. Doc, Treloar, Dahlhaus, and Macrae all had results compatible with what I expect from then at the end of the season, as did Howe. So sadness they mostly missed tonning up is overreacting.

I am however happy with Nankervis, because he put up a score compatible with the level I am hoping for, and on the high side of that.

If this is the year of the expensive cows scoring well, I am so humped.

  20. 790-8-Danger

Nank , Marchbank , Rance , Pendles , Treloar , Howe , Dahl , Hoskin – Elluott with Butler on bench with Emergency on him.

Changed Pendles loophole to Treloar after Chips Captaincy review , but glad i have Pendles and didn’t worry about a little niggle to Dependlebury like others. Spruiked Hoskin – Elliott since pies Intra – club match, and has paid early dividends with his score tonight as well as WHE cementing his spot.

  21. 652/7. Butler was good but pickett didnโ€™t help. 146 pendles score as VC. Use captain loophole or chuck the C on dangerfield/Fyfe?

    T/U: Danger or Fyfe
    T/D: Pendles

    2

    17
  22. 562/6/ Dangerfield

Relatively happy with my scores overall even if I thought Treloar deserved more than 96. Howe, Marchbank and Hoskin-Elliot all justifying their selection whilst Treloar, Dahlhaus and Docherty are just getting started. Butler on the bench hurts, unless Eddy has a very big game.

  23. 5/516/danger. Friday night was glad to put 2 away in the nank bank. Happy to keep the 100 benchmark so far even with pendles being dropped from my team in the last few minutes. Everybody shoulda coulda woulda.

  24. 742 / 7 / Dangerfield

Pretty happy so far, lucky enough to have started Butler and my premos so far have done what they needed to do.

I’m a Pies fan and this year is the first ever that I’m not starting with Pendles. Swapped him out for Treloar to save some $$ and I’ll have to say it hurts a bit. I’m sure their scores will even out over the course of the season but the first thing I’m doing after Collingwood’s bye is trading in the great man himself.

  25. 868/8 D.Martin on VC Loop – Happy to be averaging the 100 benchmark to this point. VC loop worked out well this week.

    3

    0
  26. 690/7 VC – Pendlebury, C – Strnadica.

Marchbank on the Field + Nankervis in the Forward line both early victory’s, E on Butler with Pickett on the park is the only hiccup atm.

    1

  27. 442 / 4 / JPK into Danger

Really happy with where I’m sitting. Managed to find the cash to upgrade Higgins to Riewoldt. Worried about my el cheapo ruck line but I’ve never started with so many premo mids before. Roll on the good times.

  28. 6/593
    VC Gawn C Danger/Fyfe

Marchbank, SPS, Nank, Pendles, Macrae, Dahlhaus.
Hopefully Gawn goes large and the Dees have a good win.

  29. Scores 1105 from 12. Eddy let me down massively. Also all u supercoach’s have roughhead j omera looks like u are stuck with them and piss weak scores. Jack steele and petracca was a major scorer s i still have my and i hope hall and lynch open a can of kick arse bad picks maybe

cap to play. Danger Fyfe jaccobs laird tim toronto a otten z touhy so what u reckon if i get to 1300 think danger svores 360 or a 400 then fyfe he might score well above 159 plus

    1. 1235/13/Danger

Considering i have O’Meara and Rougheads “piss weak scores” i’m pretty happy

Still got the VC loophole to play, tempted to stick it on JJ

      4

    2. It’s a bit silly to assume Danger will get 400 when Ross Lyon has said that Fremantle and Geelong have agreed to set Nathan Fyfe and Patrick Dangerfield head to head in a one v one footballing gladiatorial battle while the rest of the teams put their feet up. Knowing that AFL Matches equal 3300; it would be foolish to assume either would drop below 1600 points.

  30. 1411-15- Danger

Traded Selwood to JPK which worked well , but not so much Turner to Florent who i put on field at F6 for a 44. Riewoldt only injury concern at this stage , but no structural damage a positive.

Still to play Hampton , Otten , Shaw , Taranto , Danger , Fyfe and Sandilands. Looking at 2250 – 2300 IMO.

  32. The TEAM

    StraightOutt@SCT

    1345 / 14 / Dangerfield

Slowed up a little today with efforts from Florent, Roughead & O’Meara but still ticking over nicely. JPK & Gawn shrugging off their pre-season form and justifying their selections. Only half of remaining players are ‘premiums’ so anything over 2100 would be a bonus……

    2

    1. I think you could expect a little more than that, scores of Shaw 95, Laird 95, Hampton 80, Otten 75, Dangerfield 120 (x2), Fyfe 120 Taranto 80 and Sandilands 80 would see us over the 2200 mark.

  33. Meh, trying to get up in time for the games, however!

Its currently 9pm, but British summer time starts at 1am tomorow (clocks go forward 1 hour.

If i set my alarm for 1.30 will the time jump from 1am to 2am and the alarm not go off

will it wake me up an hour early or an hour late?

MEH, I NEED SLEEP HERE’S HOPING I’M UP AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!!!!

  34. 1009/10/Danger What a friggen disaster!
Got Eddy playing with Butler and Houston on the bench, missed the late out call on Swallow and now have to take Picketts score with SPP and Hibberd on the bench. Also have the E on J.Smith in my backline hoping there are no late outs there

    0

    0
  35. 1325 / 13

    Really happy with my start!!

I’ve got the VC on JPK (134). Think I’ll play safe and double the 134 but it is tempting to go with Danger.

    TU – take JPKs 134
TD – back Danger to go big

    18

    3
  36. 1114/11 Danger (however seriously contemplating taking Gawns 128 to be on the safe side)
Danger V Fyfe will be great to watch but worried his score may be affected, i dont even have a reason why. does anyone know their scores from previous engagements with each other?

    TU – Take Gawns 128
TD – Stick it out with Danger

    12

  37. First-timer here (and somewhat of an AFL newbie in general). Judging by other scores, my team looks rather under par at this stage..

    1446/16/ Danger

    1. Maybe a touch unders but if you’ve got good premiums that underperformed like Gray or hanners then you’ll be fine in the long run.

  38. 1379/15/Danger

Hanners (52), Florent (44), Eddy (30) on field really hurts. Also have J Smith to replace already. Slow start to 2017!

  39. 1425/15/fyfe
    barrett (46) on the field…
Steven, O’meara and roughead quite poor too
Happy with murphy (138), nankervis (114), steele (113), zac jones (95), marchbank (97)

  40. 1369/15 not to bad a start let down by a couple not hitting the 100 and playing butler on bench kills but still happy i should end up around 2100 at end so looking good thoughts

  41. 1920/19-Pendles loophole. Florent, Hibbard and Taranto on field. Safely through the injury minefield so far. Danger Fyfe and Sandi to go.

    3

    0
  42. Currently on 1887, with Dangerfield (C), Fyfe, and Sandilands still in play. If each of them doubles their first-half score I’ll get 2101 for the round.
