  1. Had Natanui as vice and hes on 177:

Thumbs up: double it up and give him the ‘c’

Thumbs down: leave ablett with the ‘c’

  3. 312 from nic nat and priddis

    Had Priddis vice cap so….

Thumbs UP – Keep Priddis (135) as my captain
Thumbs DOWN – Stick with Gazza

  4. 270/1/Priddis
Would you take that for a captain score? VC’d him.
TU – Can Gablett bounce back?
TD – NDS against Crows an option?

  5. Nic Nat is a freak!! glad i have him & a great debut from Priddis.. wish it was a full rnd instead of this bye crap.. toughen up boys.. u get the summer off..

  6. Only had Hurn and Scotland so about 170/2/GAJ. I’m happier about the fact that I had $20 on Selwood for most possessions at $5.50.

  7. My team: 373/3/will cop 3 zeros. Decided to take a gamble with trades this week.
    Steven Morris became Sam Shaw
Finally gave up on Aaron Hall, he became Arryn Siposs
    Dustin Martin became Matthew Priddis
Cash on hand $218k – 11 trades left

SCTTL: also 373/3/zero zeros to come
    Trades this week:
    A. Kennedy to Sam Gibson
    Steven Morris to Sam Shaw
    James Magner to Matthew Priddis
    Cash on hand: $309, 200 – 9 trades left

Consisdering next week upgrading Mohr, downgrading Porplezia to Crozier, upgrading Milera to Sidebottom. I’d be pretty happy with my team then, but would only leave me with 6 trades, it would read:

Deledio, Goddard, Scotland, Shaw, Clarke, Fisher, Bugg
    (Ellis, Sam Shaw)

Ablett, Pendlebury, Priddis, Selwood, Hayes, Shiel
    (Sam Gibson, Devon Smith)

    Cox, Maric
    (Redden, A.Phillips)

Franklin, Nick Riewoldt, Pavlich, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Saad, Zorko
    (Crozier, A. Hall)

  8. 128/7/??

Got probably 5 out of my top 7 captain choices out this week, and 8’of my best premiums out, so thinking of going all or nothing, not putting the ‘C’ on GAJ or Buddy and picking a POD captain…

    Thumbs up- Deledio (vs GWS)
    Thumbs down- Dangerfield (vs Saints)

  9. 365/2/Cox
    I’m considering Cox’s 132 as captain material.

Andrew Carrazzo is looking good for an upgrade after Rd13, although I would’ve liked a lower score to get that price around $400k.

In other news, Yarran (30) will be the price of a rookie soon enough, and a great proposition for next season.

  10. Valiant effort from your boys Mottsy. Some amazing decisions from Ratts to leave out Hampson (you need those talls at Subi) and keeping Robbo as a permanent forward instead of running him through the mids to help Juddy.

Some extended circle work from our guys in the first half topping off the bye week then the umpires tried their best to even up the game in Q3 before class prevailed in the end.

  11. Just getting home from the game. Great effort by both sides but Nic nat and Scotty were the difference.

  12. I think I’m going to use the loophole for the first time. There’s a pretty fair chance GAJ will go bigger than Mr. 20 from the Gold and Blue though, so I’m a little unsure. 132 is still pretty good though, isn’t it?! (yes, yes, it’s no NicNat)

Anyone else thinking about using Cox’s good game tonight-
If you did VC him, let us know if you’re keeping his score
    T/U yes T/D no.

  13. Traded in Didak last week for his adductor to go ‘ping’ in the first few minutes of the game.

There is no timeframe set on the injury, but it is expected he’ll play some role towards the end of the season.

Thumbs UP: Keep on the bench for coverage in SC finals
Thumbs DOWN: Trade him out for Sam Gibson now and save 2 donuts (without getting even seeing Gibson play)

  14. 131/ 4 including 3 donuts/GAZ

    Welcome aboard Priddis, great start!

Just out of curiosity I checked my bench value, just a touch over $3.7 million dollars worth sitting on the pine this round!

  15. Upgrade watch:

Chris Judd is projected to be $450k after Round 14.
Should be able to swap Treloar to Judd for only $60k.
    Any takers?

  16. 471/4/Priddis VC.

Forgot to put Shuey as VC, turned out rather well in the end.

Thumbs up if I should double Priddis’s 131.
Thumbs down if I should try Ablett/Dal Santo…

I’m leaning towards keeping the captaincy on him.

  17. 370/1/Naitinui

I guess I’ll take that as a start to most weeks but it just grinds my gears a bit when the one week I pick NicNat to have a day out everyone else will be jumping on the bandwagon with this whole “VC loophole” thing.

  18. 477/4/Gaj or 610/4/priddis traded in Nic Nat for Giles at the last minute, so happy about that , wish I had of made him captain but there was so much talk on here on how consistent he was with his scoring (as in always scores nears his ave.) Hopefully just having the one doughnut this week but I hold mi confidence on redden playing. 131 for Priddis score is right on Gaj ave so I will probably take that.

  19. 404/4/GAJ
Nic Nat, Selwood,Betts and a 0 for Waters. was so busy planning trades I forgot about the loophole, not going to complain though, Off to a pretty good start.
How good was that point of the year!

  20. Main Team: 298/2/Nicnat (VC) at last a good decision! C going on watson now, no bench cover for him though.
    SCTTL: 245/2/Cox (VC)

T/U: Make Ablett Captain instead of Cox as VC.
T/D: Leave Cox as V/C so his 132 stands as doubled up?

  21. I think Carazzo has won a spot in my backline next week over Waters. Scored big AND he’s still going to lose value cause of a huge break even.

    0

    0
  22. “I can wait until next week to get Nic in, his break even is 101 so he should stay the same price and I can spend my spare cash on a big upgrade this week”

    -Me, last night 🙁

  23. 113/1/GAJ

Welcome back Scotland!! Unfortunately Reversed the Horse >> Priddis trade, only to run out of time to trade somelese for the mop. Currently sitting on 2 donuts. I’ll get canned for this, but seriously considering going Morris >> Mr Drummond for $90k. Obviously has health concerns, however his scoring has been pretty good this year. In 7 games, apart from one subbed out 30, and a 64 against the GWS (not sure if he got subbed out), the rest of his scores have been pretty consistent between 83 and 119. Saves a donut, and could become a handy D6/7 POD. As long as he stays on the park.

    Zaha -> Tippett

Make some cash on it. He has had the bye and has a good run home.

  26. Yagmoor gets the Captaincy this week. Expecting big things from him. Decided to go young Peter over Pendlebury, just to poke even more fun at the captain loophole.

  27. just notice the 8 premiums i have not playing this week total value adds up to just over $4.5million with a combined average score of 915, not going to be a high scoring week this week 🙁

  28. Last nights game got me thinking, and thought I might do a quick poll on this, who do you think got the better deal now in the ‘Judd Trade’? Eagles got Kennedy and Masten, Carlton got Judd and Armfield. But it think we should bring Kreuzer and Nic Nat into this equation my reasons being, eagles wanted the number 1 pick but got 3 instead (Masten) if they had number one they would have most likely got Kreuzer, which makes me think the following year they would have been unlikely to draft Nic Nat due to already having Cox and Kreuzer. So who do you think got a better trio in the end?

Thumbs Up: Eagles with Nic Nat, Masten, Kenendy
Thumbs Down: Carlton with Kreuzer, Judd, Armfield

  29. Sooo Gibson. Doesn’t seem like and impact player to me but the question is… Will he get the green vest?

  30. My Team vs Opposition
    Priddis (C) / Ablett (C)
    Ablett / Dal Santo
    S.Shaw / Saad
    Treloar / Martin
    Adams / Cotchin
    Mitchell / Mullet
    Pfeiffer / Birchall
    Redden / Burgoyne

    Thumbs Up – Win
    Thumbs Down – Lose (Probably)

  31. Only one donut at the moment & considering a small trade to cover it. Thoughts?

Smedts Out (I have him as a FWD)
A Black (NM) IN (3rd game with a small price rise expected)

  32. Who makes way for S. Shaw (113k, 74 avg, -77 BE)? 9 trades left.

    Options are…
    – Lake (425k, 81 avg, 137 BE, current D5)
    – Hargrave (355k, 74 avg, 119 BE, D6)
    – Ellis (230k, 51 avg, 26 BE, D7)
    – Smedts (172k, 38 avg, 32 BE, D8)
    – Boumann (113k, 24 avg, 22 BE, D9, hasn’t had a run in weeks)
    – no-one, because I need all the trades I have (DEF 4 prems, 2 mids, 3 rooks; MID 6P+2R, RUC 1P+3R, FWD 3P+2M+4R, so I figure I can live on 6 trades before LTIs).

If Lake or Hargrave go now, I’d want another DEF trade later on to bring in a fifth premium. If any of the others go, I can probably live with Lake and Hargrave at D5 and D6 and save another trade for injury.

  33. Started like a house on fire, with my two fresh trades absolutely smashing it. NicNat and Priddis! Thanks boys!
Will have 3 donuts at this stage.

Quick poll though, wanted to get rid of Giles.

    Thumbs up for mcevoy…..
    Thumbs down for Goldstein……

    Or should I kept Giles……?
If I put one of these two in I only have 3 spots left to fill with premiums and stay on top of my cash league. Cheers

  34. 501 / 2 / Nic Nat (Loophole)

Both of my players are on debut and they did me proud! Cheers Boys.

Also, just added up my bench. A lazy $4.1m on there with a further $2.2m not scoring on the field…. Going to be a longgg weekend!

  35. In s.shaw out clarke, Priddis for the horse which proved perfect for the loophole as i dont trust gaj ever since people the media suggested he was being a ball hog m! and 3rd trade took a gamble with Harvey for the injured zaha. Ranked 25th overall in the comp down from 13th last week hopefully we get an injury free round here

  36. Been thinking about it for ages..

Thumbs Up: Better be safe and keep Priddis’ score
Thumbs Down: Ablett will come out firing since last weeks poor effort

  38. Decided to go big or go home and have decided Priddis’ score isn’t enough. If i didn’t have GAJ i’d take i just feel that GAJ against my beloved North has a high potential to go beserk against us.

  39. Cant believe it. The 2 players who I planned on trading in next week (after their prices fell a little due to high BE), NicNat and Tippet, are absolutely flying 🙁

  40. The whole week I ummed and arred whether to pick N Roo or Tippett. Well I’ll give you one guess who I bloody picked. Hint: he’s wallowing on 9 stinking DT points at half time!!

  41. very annoyed at the SC STATS section, Tippets break even was 118 , and all of a sudden has changed to 93 even though he had a bye round. This will effect my plane . Very annoyed at this un reliable resource.

  45. Off to a flier before my 3 donuts catch up to me.
    633/5/Cox/3KrispyKremes

Very happy with 130+ from Cox, Priddis and Dal Santo.
Goddard’s score is inexcusable for a man of that stature, but everyone’s got him anyway.
Sam Shaw had a good last quarter and I’m happy with a 71.

Just the one Donut (Sexton). Late inclusion?? Deano is giving me a run for my money in the LOEC1. Its:

Me: iMullet, Mohr, Drummond, Ruffhead, Birchall, Bradbert, Boyd
    vs
Deano: Ellis, Devon, Zorko, Sizzle, Lake +206

    Should be close.

I can only imagine how frustrating it is for the players!

  53. Waiting to see if live HQ will update again but I think here’s how I’m going:

    Mine:
    1292/17/Cox
GAJ, Zorko, Goldstein, Buddy, Hale to come. 3 donuts.

    SCTTL: 1617/19/Cox

  55. 958/12/GAJ

TRELOAR WTF?? 😡 Luckily Deano has him as well! Its still close, but I think I have the upper hand. Slightly.

Me: Drummond, Ruffhead, Birchall, Bradbert, Boyd (Sexton?)
    vs
Deano: Zorko, Rioli, Lake + 101

It will all play out tomorrow!

  56. 1201/12 + 2 donuts/NicNat (vc)

Be freakin’ stocked if I could manage 2000. Up against Motts in our LoEC league and looking like it’s going to be a close one. I’ve got one extra donut but was hoping NicNat’s day out could cover that.

Comes down to Lake + 194 for Motts VS Horsley, Zorko & Roughie.

    What do you guys reckon?

Thumbs up – Motts too strong and holds on.
Thumbs down – Fish brings it home with a huge last quarter and runs over the top.

    0

    0
  57. 1202 with 8 to come and captain played. Only 3 premiums though so looking at around 1750 – 1850 hopefully…

  58. Callan Ward, recruiting you when Fyfe got injured was my dumbest SuperCoach move ever!! Time to go sir.

  59. Treloar’s score has left me flat. I thought he was going to be a great keeper, now I am not sure and am low on trades. Does anybody have a positive spin on it for me?

    0

    0
  60. anyone somewhat know how it works and could give me a round abouts figure as to what treloars break even might jump up to now? he had a b/e of just 23 or so this week and couldnt even make that. was really looking like he might max out at about 400k before i move him but now definitely doesnt look like that. do you gus reckon he has any chance of some money making left in him?

  61. Team 1(My Team)

And from this day forward, the big ‘C’ should permanently be on GAJ
I’m blaming the loophole….M.Priddis, but it is my fault, just wasn’t willing to take the risk….makes me feel better by seeing how many people swapped from GAJ

    0

  64. Cox, Priddis, Dal Santo, Deledio, Ablett, Harvey all 130+

Picked up 3 of those in the last 3 weeks (Dal Santo, Harvey, Priddis) and they’re quickly proving their worth.

Shaw and Gibson both serviceable on debuts, but would’ve liked more from Gibson seeing as he was on 60 at 3QTR time… at least he wasn’t the sub.

    0

  65. I left the VC on Priddis nstead of GAZ and along with Treloar and D Smith scoring 30 between them I find myself in this predicament….

Me – 235 + Roughhead vs Zorko Mitchell and Cross….Who wins????

T/U – You got it in the bag

T/D- The GAZ captaincy move has cost you the game

  66. 1001/13 (8 played, 5 donuts)/Deledio

To come: Zorko, Adcock, Rockliff, Birchall, Suckling, Franklin, Redden, Pfeiffer

If all my remaining premiums crack the ton, and my rookies get 70+ I should get at least 1700 would like to push for 1800+ though.

Cameron, Deledio, GAJ, Rance all helped bring my team back to life with tons 🙂 to bad that they are the only ones who have cracked it so far 🙁

  67. my mate made a team just for this round and he’s gunning it. any chance for the weekly considering the massive individual scores this weekend? sitting on 1855 with 7 to come (birchall mitchell roughnut buddy rioli boyd and lake).

  68. 1474/16 + 2 donuts/NicNat (VC)

    Fish – Zorko & Roughie VS Motts – Lake + 139

    Thumbs up – Motts
    Thumbs Down – Fish

Reckon that bonus 30 Motts got from Sexton could be the difference. Never liked that Campbell Brown.

  69. 1542/16/GAJ plus 3 donuts

buddy, jac redden, jarred redden, hale, suckling and lake to come…

not bad a score considering i have selwood, pendles pavlich broughton and sidey on the pine.

  70. A few times this season, i have questioned players end scores, ( just quietly to myself ). But now maybe it’s time to vent! How did Maric score 140+? I watched the whole game closely, and as much as he has improved this season and been fantastic, there is no way he outscored Deledio or Cotchin!!! Throw in a D.Martin 98, and i’m stumped. He was hardly sighted!!!

Does any agree? Or am i preaching? I have Martin and Deledio, so will take their scores. But how does this happen? I am sure with my inexperience of AFL and Supercoach that there is someone out there who will understand my slight frustration?

By the way, my vent started when Pavlich scored 140+ against GC, and he didn’t do much in my eyes. Then kicks 6 goals against Richmond last week and scores 90+. Go figure.

And while i’m still here, why can’t supercoach have live scores tracking like Dreamteam? Fanfootys scores just change all the time with supercoach.

Having said all this, i’m enjoying my virgin season in supercoach and AFL.

Rant over, hope i haven’t offended any supercoaches vs dreamteam.

  71. 1619/15/Priddis 7 yet to play which include buddy, hale, burgoyne, redden ,Zorko,Hargrave, Pfeiffer.my ability to pick the correct captain this year has been abysmal! Had 2 opportunities this week with Nic Nac a nd GAJ .had pendles when he got his 62, Goddard when got 64 and GAJ last week.still in the top 300 and lookin g at moving up a bit this week hopefully

  72. GAJ you little champ!

    Way to silence those doubters!

*Cough* *Cough* (Which included me.) *Cough*

Still on track for over 2k total score, which is pretty good.

  73. Anyone watch the GWS vs Richmond game and notice how little Maric did to get 146 SC points? It is a joke, nothing that he did influenced the match THAT much, he didn’t get THAT many possessions. These are his stats:

    – 16 disposals, 12 kicks and 4 handballs (10 contested possessions)
    – Disp. Efficiency … 56%
    – 4 marks, 1 constested
    – 6 tackles
    – 0 Clearances
    – 2 Frees For, 1 Free Against
    – 5 Inside 50’s, 1 Rebound 50
    – 0 Goals, 0 Behinds, 0 Goal Assists
    – 146 SC points

    Now compare this to Deledio:

    – 30 disposals, 19 kicks and 11 handballs (18 contested possessions)
    – Disp. Efficiency … 60%
    – 3 marks, 0 constested
    – 2 tackles
    – 6 Clearances
    – 3 Frees For, 0 Free Against
    – 4 Inside 50’s, 3 Rebound 50
    – 1 Goals, 1 Behinds, 0 Goal Assists
    – 132 SC points

Deledio was clearly the better player (on paper, AND when watching the game). He influenced the game much more, and I can’t see where the big IVAN is getting his points from compared to Lids. Don’t get me wrong, I do like Mulletman, but I hate it when these things happen!

  74. What should we do with Adam Treloar?

Up until Round 10 he played 7 games with an average of 81, a low score of 53 and a peak of 115, with a consistency rating of 20.9. He had risen $ 243 100 in value. His 5 and 3 round averages were 84.2 and 90.7.

Then he pops out with 7 in Round 12. Is this a blip, and can we afford to keep him?

Priced at around 350k, you’ve got to think Treloar has about reached his price ceiling. If he plays and returns to averaging in the high nineties, you might make an extra 50k or so, once his terrible round 12 blight has been washed out of the system. But of course, you’ve got to ask yourself – is it worth risking a potential massive price drop?

If you’ve got the trades, seriously consider getting rid of him.

But if you’ve got only a meagre portion of spare cash, a premium is out of reach for a straight swap.

So, unless you want to downgrade, here are your straight swap options.

All under 400k as of end of Round 11.
    FORWARDS:

    Fallen Semi-Guns:
    Brent Harvey (North Melbourne)
Played well v Gold Coast last round, and averaged over 100 points in 2010 and 2011. Average has dropped to 84 and price has fallen over 150k. Old, cranky body, a proven champion on his way out. Do you trust his cranking bones to revive his SuperCoach scoring in the second half of 2012? If you do, put your trades where your thoughts are and bring him.

    Travis Cloke (Collingwood)
Capable of some pretty stinking score, Travis has been plagued by rumours dealing with his future and that may have been cause of some pretty rotten Supercoach score. Two tons in his last two games – albeit against Melbourne and the Gold Coast – boasting a whopping one win between them in 2012 – makes you wonder, is he on the up, or just feasting on some fattening deserts before dieting on the main course once more. Big risk, possible big reward. Averages 88, can improve – but might give you some shockers and some sweet victories along the way.

I would advise against doing a straight swap for a midpricer (unless you have a reason to do so) – either downgrade or upgrade.

    Midfielders:

So you’ve got Treloar sitting in the mids. What delights can we find in the middle to replace him?

Brock Mclean(Carlton): HAS THE BYE IN ROUND 13!
Almost a straight swap, Brocky is on the bubble, provides bang for your buck with a 3 round average of 103.3. With Carrots back, will Carlton experience a rennaissance; will Brocky continue his scoring his SuperCoach Scores?

    We wonder, we wonder….

    Defenders:

    Matt Suckling (Hawthorn)
A pretty good defender in 2011, averaging 90, his average has dropped to 86 in 2012. Priced under 400k, so a possible pickup if you can afford him.

    Sean Dempster (St Kilda)

Has increased his PPG by 20 points this year, averaging 85 points and has scored 3 tons. Only owned by 3% of all teams, so might be a god POD for you.

Anyway, hope I’ve helped you consider your options with Treloar. I didn’t put any Rucks in because there is nothing worth picking up under 400k; but if you have a 100k kitty, there are plenty of goodies. May I suggest Jonathon Griffin of the Dockers.

  75. Can’t believe I didn’t jump on Zorko! He’s tearing it up!

That’s what I get for taking a 3 week holiday during supercoach season.

2000 would be nice considering I’ve had 3 donuts plus Treloar’s 7 to deal with.

Cox(C), Priddis, Dal Santo, Deledio, Ablett, Harvey, Zorko all 130+

  84. Finishes with 2144/Priddis.

If I’d backed in GAJ I would have got about 100 more points. Oh well, not to worry.

  85. Dayne Zorko…..I LOVE YOU! (and you’re not bad either Roughnut)

Just checked the scores for the first time today. 🙂 🙂 Smiling from gill to gill.

Need Lake to get under 127 to pull off a very unlikely win against Motts’ Maulers and make it 5 from 5. All things being equal you’d think I should be ok but even if Lake has a day out and does me I think I’ll still be smiling after that surprise.

  87. 2030/20/Priddis – 1 doughnut – Lake & Redden playing.

Hopefully a solid 2150-2200 score should drag me back up a bit after falling down to 599th following a horror round 11!
