Interesting to read the comments on TooSerious regarding the GAJ score particularly compared to Selly’s as well as the commentators on ABC radio/Ch7 in their assessments of player value/impact. Hard to justify that sort of discrepancy when it was Joel that kept them in it in the second half when GAJ went missing.
I challenge anyone to justify why the scores should not have been reversed.

I’m in an awkward position in my eliminator battle. I’m ahead 1641-1609, and, I have used 1 less player than my worthy opponent, 16/17. BUT, I’ve spent my captain -Jesus- and my opponent has Swan as his.
We both have Chapman, and my J.Grant 69 beats his Gumbleton 51 which extends my lead to 50.
So it comes down to my blokes; Malceski/Swan/Pendlebury/Daisy/Didak & Rok vs his Malceski/Swan (c)/Armstrong/Didak & Grundy.
I want Swan to do well for the sake of the Pies and for the health of my overall ranking, which is 851st, but, it seems that the better Swan goes, the harder it’ll be for me to win this battle.
I’m hoping for the best

I would trade him. He was injured, then injured again on his return from injury means he has a lot of catching up to do, fitness wise. He is also more likely to re-injure himself on return. You can trade his value in for 90 odd points p.w that can benefit you whilst this guy is out and possibly when he returns.

I have him as well and whilst I’m disappointed in tonight, the bloke’s a champ who’s more likely than others to deliver for me in finals. Roos was forced to play him forward without Braddy for structure tonight ala the past 4 weeks and the inside 50s quantity and quality did allow him to succeed. Presti also needs some credit.
I can’t confirm this personally though I’m pretty sure from anecdotal reports that Roosy does not allow his coaching decisions to be affected by fantasy footy competitions.

Can others give me some input as to the worth of Ben Cunnington?
I traded him in after his second game thinking (hoping) he would be the Anthony of last year given the hype however his SC scoring has caused me to often have trouble correctly pronouncing his surname.
It appears to me that he is behind the play by several steps consistently in his read and consequently he struggles to get possies and when he does, is caught with the pill too often.
I wonder whether this is the result of an interrupted pre-season and he’ll get better or that he is just too slow.
What do you think?

Plus Jay notching up a ton while on the bench whilst Jpod was on the park scoring mid 20′s and making Hodgey his Captain instead of Symes (126), I’m not surprised we haven’t heard from him, unless his being consisted though.
