Although I didn’t expect much from 15 on the field, my backline was absolutely laughable this week. Hanley, Birch, Vlaustin, what is going on down there lads? I had Blayne Wilson coming in to debut this week and he topped all of their scores with a 56! Ridiculous!

Glad to be back in the winning circles. Joel Selwood, Ivan Maric and Tom Mitchell were all positive trade-ins this week. Glad to see the back of the bye rounds; I was thinking I’d make up a lot of ground but that wasn’t to be.
6/15 Bye Round wins in the end. Hopefully I’ll push back into the top 10k at rounds end.

The SC gods had it in for me this week. Not sure why. From trading in Birchall, to Mundy being a late out, to the debacle that was my backline, the whole weekend was a disaster. Think I will wait for my ranking to tumble once lockout ends, then very quickly move on to round 14.

Was a bit like Brisbane and came from nowhere to win 4/5 and lost the other one by 1 point !! Wow , where do i start Hurn 8 Webster 25, Birchall 40. with Cothcin, Hannerberry, Martin all disappointing. Would think that anyone in the 2k mark this week has a chance of pulling it off, thinking Ill fall in the overall but not by much. All the usual suspects were down today. Don’t be too discouraged Big Russ, there will be a lot in the same boat! Except that boat is called the Titanic !!

Pretty happy to see the back end of those bye rounds though. Hopefully the guys can lift a little after poor scores this round. Lets hope there’s no injuries!

B.Goodes and Vlastuin gave some very average scores. Won in my main league across all 3 rounds so I can’t complain too much and at the same time picked up the likes of Minson, Lids, JPK, J.Selwood. Bring on the rest of the season.
1653/JPK. Amazingly, it doesn’t seem to be as horrible a score as I was thinking (compared to my leagues, and posters here). What a shocking SC week though. Can’t wait for next week!
Disaster. Lost two of my three main leagues by under 6 pts and the third by 15.
Can somebody tell me how Stevie J scores 37pts in the last quarter for DT but only 12 in SC? Cost me at least two leagues.
Started the byes inside the top 150, but blew out to 840th this week but managed to produce my bye round greatest score of 1930 with 19 on field and Barlow as captain!

Well after a week-end away on a (no phones) golf trip in Yarrawonga, watching Fevola & Brad Ottens kick 14 of 19 goals to help smash Acka’s Nth Albury team & rocking it to a AC/DC tribute band till all hours at the WaterSki Club….all I could think on the way home was, how bad is the SC scores going to be!
Well I’ve ended up with a competitive score & amazingly won 5/5 leagues with that score, more than likely take a hit in the overall (was 590th) but, happy with the outcome, Hawks are 1game clear on top & I have no work tomorrow to let the liver hopefully repair itself somewhat!
Btw, gee I’m happy these bye rounds are OVER!

Knew it was going to be a crap round when I saw Birch limping around in the first minutes of Friday night’s game. Hope Hanley and McEvoy are fit for next week we should have a full side of premiums on the ground ;).

Won 5/5 Leagues, was really hoping for over 1950 this week with 21 playing.
Duds – Birchall, Vlastuin, Hanley, Hrovat not a score over 42 out of those and 2 are Premos, supposedly!
Studs – Joelwood, JJK, Stevie J (C), Cox, Swallow and Nic Nat
was also hoping for more from my Tigers Cotch, Maric and Lids and Rockliff was underwhelming also.
Is there any news about Barlow?? I don’t have him but heard possible Broken Jaw??

Bad – Avg scores from Tiger stars, Birch inj, Barlow inj, Vlas inj, Webster sub again
Ugly – Cotch as captain, Thurlow dropped, injuries from this week mIght hurt, SC scalling which seems so subjective to me.

I’m still loving the Ryan Griffin doubt coming from the world of SuperCoach. Whilst most have refused to pick him up and are speculative, I’ve sat back after picking him up at 537k in round 6, getting results of 171, 101, 136, 176, 129, 143. Now at 663k and the 3rd highest average in SC (125.5) I’d say he’d out of most peoples price range. Thanks to his help, I’ve averaged 1960 through the byes, which I am reasonably happy with.
I’m still getting the hang of this game, but thanks to the support from everyone on here I’m becoming a serious contender in my cash league. Next year I’m aiming to be a serious contender in the overall rankings. Cheers!!

Good enough for 5/5 league wins and 15/15 for the bye period. Have consolidated myself in the top 3 of every league so can start planning for finals as i am just outside of the top 10k & have no illusions of overall glory.
Managed to trip over wins in all leagues, it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to say that. Hopefully all comes together for a big 2nd half of the year.
Round 13 was horrible for most so I planned on bumping up into the top 10k. Ended up getting 1,732 with 16 playing and Dusty as Captain (Worth a punt) so not bad, but didn’t quite get to that 10k spot.
No, it wasn’t every thing I wanted. The swannies lost.
But my team didnt do bad.
