Tell me they didn’t get a hell of a lot of assistance from the umps as well. From Adams first goal of the match to ticky touch frees against Henderson, they must have got three or four goals courtesy of the men in white.

Kangas deserved to win but umpiring was s#it, kangas got given everything. Really makes watching the game very hard when they just constantly blow the whistle. 3-4 goals given to kangas from umpires and really stopped the flow of the game quite a bit. PUT THE WHISTLE AWAY. First 50 and goal was ridiculous.

Ease up boys! Only a week after you were shellacked by a team with extensive outs after giving up a 6 goal start. The Blues are clearly gone mentally and ability wise from last year’s debilitating semi final loss at Subi.
Having said that, I think you guys have a great young list that just lacks the class of a potential top four team but the potential is there with Wells, Hansen, Bastinac, et al.

How quickly people forget. Wasn’t too long ago that the Roos went down to Port, the Dogs and the Hawks by 20 goals.
Credit where due, they have turned it around since the bye but still have a long way to go. Are they underated? I don’t think so. Pushing for eighth spot represents perfectly where they’re at and where I expected them to be at the start of the year.

Just to clarify when Adams got injured, he went off for an extensive period of time after Judd twisted his arm back but he came back on after halftime and played the rest of the game until the last 10mins when he got crunched on the outer wing diving for a ball.

jeez – I am playing SC because my brother dragged me in…now I am hooked – but then I see Judd do what he did to Adams – and I say I have no idea who he is but I swear if I was one of Adams team-mates and saw that – Judd would have a hell of a time playing for a couple of weeks…what is so special about Judd that something like that would be ignored? It is really hard to workout where the sides are at. Carlton Belted by Hawthorn, North Melbourne completely belted by Hawthorn. Thank you GG. Whenever someone brings up the Carlton downfall its because of “all the injuries they’ve had”. We have had he same, if not more, amount of injuries, and we are a chance (unlikely, but still a chance) for top 4! Surely our time will come when everyone has built enough muscle and soft-tissues won’t come as often, and we can have a good, CONSISTENT season!

Barlow & Pods were also great bargains in their first (rookie) season. However both are examples that living on the good memories & buying as a 500K – 550K premium the next year can easily sour the relationship.

Tackle loving machines like Boyd, Zorko & hopefully Couch will all be good SC players, but setting up for a successful SC year is all about finding value (i.e. Lake & Lenny), buying cheap rookies (Giles, Horse, Zorko etc) & selling high for upgrading (2 of the 3 cheapies with Zorko being the keeper). Zorko may be on the radar for me, but only when upgrading say Mitchell (refer Jimbo below) when Zorko’s price went from being prem to midprice (value)

Any chance we can get a full SCTTL update after this round, including who would be the current Top 8 across ALL leagues (and how it’s decided). I recall that it’s supposed to be based on whoever has the highest TOTAL score (and not necessarily where you sit on the ladder in your group).
I’m currently sitting 10th in the SCTTL ladder (7 wins & 6 losses), but when ranked by total points, I sit 3rd. So I’d love to see how this stacks up against the other four leagues (and as a total).
