Points arent up yet for syd/wc. Checked them out elsewhere so I am around the 2300 mark, probably about 2320.

Considering bringing in Griffen for Dangerfield but with a few trades left and the Buddy problem, I feel like I’m stuck up shit creek with no paddle!

Suprised myself by my score as I was away for the weekend so I didn’t have the chance to put the VC on ablett which would have lifted me to just short of 2500, but can’t complain as I won 3/3 games and consecutive scores of over 2400.
A load of players lifting the ton for me but special thanks to Hannebery, JJ kennedy, Selwood, Cotchin, Scott D Thompson, Rockcliff and of course Ablett all getting over 125 with an extra 6 players breaking the ton.
Disappointing efforts from Duffield, Cox, Goddard and Swallow but not to concerned as I have just about finalised my team for the finals.

Don’t need to say much more than ‘GAJ’. But I will 😀 A lot of 80s & 90s with only Gibbs, BJ & Massive failing below that. Second highest score of the year.
Goodes jr gone for the year, so will now look at Heppell as his replacement. Will now have to keep Birchall who will be like a new trade come finals (hopefully! :D).
This will leave me with 1 emergency trade for finals. Fingers crossed. Hoping to improve my ranking of 152.

Guess who wears the Crown of Fools. Is it Bryce Gibbs, who bombed out with 60? Is it Goddard. who missed the chance to go big v GWS? Is it Paul Duffield, who returned from injury with a score of 51.
No, no and no. For all their abysmalism, there one was one dunderhead who darkened the shining light in shadow.
Yes, the biggest dunce is of course, Eagling. All week long the VC was on Pendlebury over GAJ. I have no one to blame but myself. If I’d Captained Gazza, I’d have knocked Catta off in LoeC1. If, if, if, if only…
Of course, no one will notice the other decision I went badly with. Playing Cox over Nic Nat and Lamb lost me 17 points, but I doubt anyone would blame me for not playing Jed Lamb.
The one decision I got right was benching Deledio, who was well held by Crowley.
At 5-10, I’m out of the LoeC1 finals race. Thanks for the competition, guys; it’s been a great ride. Now I’m trying to win the Minor Premiership in that league.
Now onto happier matters.
My ‘good friend’ Eaglet scored 2516 in SCTTL4 (Of course ‘he’ captained Gazza.) This is the highest score ‘either of us’ have ever managed.
But as those that know the details of SCTTL will understand, ‘he’ can’t take all the credit.

B. Goodes needing to go is a shame. Lachie Henderson will be looked at, however cheap d/f DPP could be good options as Griffin, Beams & Stevie J could be the game winners in SC finals.

Dissappointed by Penles on debut.
Swan could have done more. T. Mitchell – well, the fairytale couldn’t last.
Cox 70, Nicholls 88 and (benched Nic Nat 78) are unacceptable.
I was hoping that Bartel would kick that goal. For SC points and the win (go cats).
I’ll take the 5 wins. Bad luck Blue Skins in SCT LOEC2.

Might be carrying some injuries through the rest of season now. 2 trades left so will be only trading out season ending injuries.
As such, this is probably the point where it all goes horribly wrong, as it looks like I have to hope danger comes back firing.

Happy-ish with my score but in saying that, Gibbs, Heppell, Swan, Minson, HShaw, Fyfe, Ibbotson, Cox, Priddis & Bartel all failed to raise the bat this round for Catta’s Clan. But what I’d like to add……thank you Gazza you’ve managed to put some respect into my score this week when lots failed me!

Finally cracked the 2400 league!! Could’ve made more with the likes of Gibbs (AGAIN!!), Goddard (again), Ibbo, Cox (again), Bartel (again)… not scoring what they’re capable of. Probably can throw Pendles & Priddis on that list too.
Honourable mentions to Dusty, Walker, JPK & Titchell (only scored 80, but he’s still a gun for a kid!).
But a few stood up and went bananas… GAJ (goes without saying), McKenzie, Rockliff, Cotchin, Joelwood, Hannebery & JJK.
If it wasn’t for my opponent placing the C on GAJ, I would’ve missed the 2400 mark, as I had the VC on Pendles and C on Joelwood initially!
So overall… very stoked!

A word of warning to anyone attending Metracon Stadium – you have no data service. After Griff”s 140 (VC), I deciding to role the dice with GAJ as I was at the ground and saw the moisture on the turf. For over 30 minutes I tried to get reception – bugger! I even walked about a Km from the stadium to try to change my C choice (Pendles). Total cost, about 150 points and dropped well out of the top 1000. On the up side, it was a total honour to watch GAJ play one of the best, if not the best, game of AFL ever. He was sensational – this coming from a Pies supporter.

2410/The son of God, shit round due to these duds: goddard, hep, GIBBS (again), ibbo, swan, priddis (116 DT WTF?!?!?), minson, bartel, cox, nicnat, ROUGHY whereas opp. in main league had 120+ scores from: hannebry, the hoff, thompson (NM), rance, beams, griffdog as PODs.
now we all know to pick The son of God as captain every time he plays the magpoos, 53d last year and 178 again on the weekend

Quite happy with that. Especially after missing GAJ.
Concerns: Goodes and ROK (concussed in Q4).

Feel very unlucky to slip from 15th to 20th, but it’s not as bad as it looks. Actually gained ground on the leader; a small, but handy 27 points (322 total). Only 33 points separate 10th -> 20th, so any sort of decent week and I’m right back up there.
Jarryd Roughead was very disappointing on debut with 69. It looked so promising after he scored the first goal of the match, but didn’t see too much of it after that, despite kicking 3.3.
Down to 2 trades left, which will now be 1 as Brett Goodes has to go.
The final trade will likely be NicNat or Buddy to a midfield premium.
Then it will be a matter of riding out the season with no trades left. Bring it on.

2167/Pendles (first time I have taken C off GAJ this year). won 3 of 4 leagues.
No centuries in the defence, and with Goodes now out pretty disappointing round for the backs.
Had Nicholls on the field and benched NicNat thinking he may be a late out, payed off by 10 points. Cox and Goldstein not pulling their weight.
