live scores has baguley on 73. watching the game tonight on FOX HD. have no doubt that he will play unless he gets injured. looks like a solid player who just does his job. will be very surprised if he gets dropped. watson and heppell are about the only 2 essendon players that have had more of a game influence so far, oh and gumbleton kicking 4.

Wow for once this year something went right. Traded Stanton out to beams and sexton to baugeley. Baugely making 84 and Stanton getting injured. Condolences to anyone with stanton

Been out for dinner. Did Stanton pick up a bad injury? With Hale being a late withdrawal it guided me to change from originally looking at going T.Adams to M.Murphy, to a last minute trade with Stanton to M.Murphy. Please hold up your end Mr Murphy.

37 at 84%. 16 contested. 9 clearances. 4 tackles. What’s to not understand. Had about 60 at quarter from 14 touches so relatively quiet from then on too.

The Don! July 28, 2012 at 3:43 am

Exactly, he should have got more. Boyd gets 130 from 37 going at like 60%… 37 at 84% is a very, very good effort. Plus 16 of them were contested, 2 frees for (2 against), a behind… That’s at least a 150!

Fair call Don. I thought you were saying he didn’t deserve the 120. Guess he might not have had a lot of the stats that don’t show up in the basic summary. Contested marks from opposition kicks, score involvements etc.

83/1/GAJ (VC Swan) – thought I would avoid a donut and the Mr Hale came to the party :(

Only had Baguley play thus far.

My trades this week?
* Cloke –> Beams
* Guthrie –> Baguley
Only $10, 200 in the bank now and 3 trades.

Welcome to the New Saintsations, Mark Baguley! Bye bye Guthrie, not missing you! AT ALL. Cloke you’ve been replaced, a 3rd ave somewhere in the nether regions of 50 just ain’t cutting the mustard for someone I thought was a nice POD premo earlier this year (well in one or two of my leagues anyway).

Anyone like the look of young Alex Browne? Heard he was one to look out for before this years preseason but haven’t seen much of him before now. Might be one to keep in the memory bank for next year, if he doesn’t get too many more games before the end of the SC season (& therefore becomes too dear).

As for my SCTTL team:
0/0/GAJ (VC Pendlebury)
Trades? went Marty Clarke –> Sam Fisher
$27, 100 in bank and 2 trades left.

Brought in Cloke as a surprise, so hopefully he can go big. Unfortunately had Baguley on my mids bench instead of Gibson! Had Hale starting, but had a ruck emergency in Pyke. Does that mean that I get Pyke’s score included instead of Hale’s?

As long as Hale was starting in your rucks and not forward you will get Pykes score

Jacobs out of today’s game.
Thanks boys for the heads up on the site yesterday. I was going to go into the weekend with a donut for Buddy but with Jacobs a risk I went Buddy > Beams to minimise the damage. Not really a trade I wanted to do but two donuts would have been a big blow.

Wasn’t exactly a glowing review though MJ. “Unfortunately he does have the tendency” “Injury is the biggest concern for me” “I’d rather wait a week or two for Adam Goodes”.

I totally agree and did exactly that with Goodesy but I think Hawker deserves some credit for having faith in Sizzle when most didn’t.

DC, i was hoping you would knock BS off to give me an outside chance of clinching 4th spot in LoEC1. Some monster scores this week & hopefully LoEC1 league move up from 71st? overall into top 50.

Would love ton’s out of Pav, M.Johnson, NDS, Lake, Priddis, Cox, Nit Nat & Zorko to get the average score per round up.
Has anyone else checked what their round average would be without the 3 bye rounds (11, 12 & 13)?. My ave. of 2095 jumped up to something like 2195 without the byes.

Eagling, the huge variation between the with & without byes averages is a good reminder of the absolute carnage during the byes. Wonder if SCT team will ask for total & non bye affected averages for qualification into SCT graded leagues next year. Tough, but great leagues without any easy games.
Hopefully the Hawks, Crows, Cats, Pies & out of contention teams general soreness does not inflict similar carnage in the SC finals!

2532/Swannie and a loss to Motts in SCTTL1, nice team Mottsy (2629) I could have used more from Stevie J and BLake had an off game as well.
2467/JPK as C in main team, should have stuck with Gaz, also had BLake and Stevie J in there and Johnston from Freo let me down a bit on debut.
Some monster scores out there this round, Nicnat starting to show he is turning potential into points. Tipped 8 and broke my record in DT again with a 2438.

2532/Swannie and a loss to Motts in SCTTL1, nice team Mottsy (2629) I could have used more from Stevie J and BLake had an off game as well.

2602/Swannie.. happy with the overall score.. lesson learnt- never take the C off GAJ.. would’ve been delighted with those extra 60 points !

Extra 30.

Don’t sweat it though. Swan against the Giants VS GAJ against the Swans made sense.
