  1. 134/1/Gaz or Danger

    T/U….Take Dusty’s 134 as (C)
    T/D….Run with Gaz or Danger

I must say 135 is normally by breaking point to take the big (C), so I’m actually leaning towards running with Dusty.

  2. Just Dustys score for me as I had Menadue on the bench. I must say I don’t understand why people aren’t locking Dustys score away. Let’s say your other choice makes 150, your only adding 32 points to your score. Where’s if your captain spuds it up and makes sub 100 it’ll hurt a lot more than those points missed.

  3. As for the game the only way I see Richmond improving is if someone stands up as a leader at the club. If they had a Hodge type captain they would improve immensely.

  4. 4/434: Dusty, Pendles, Houli and Menadue. Pretty happy with that. Although I wish I had put my VC on Dusty instead of Pendles. Hoping Danger has another good one this week.

  5. 1263/13/TheDanger : the team has had up and downs; Adams was huge but Rockliff and Barlow look keen to move on from the team. Other mid proceed in defence are still yet to prove themselves; but I’m sure will come good soon.

At least it’s looking better than last week. Barlow is first correctional trade lined up.

This team is going places! Looking good with Danger, Priddis and H.Shaw among those still to come.

Happy so far I’ve got 10 players who have hit the ton for me and I’ve only had 3 disappointing scores so far Barlow, Rockliff and Lonnergan.
Still got Shaw,Danger,Mills Kerridge and Weidering to play.

Pretty much been a perfect week so far with my only score under 80 being Sam Gray’s 57, hope it doesn’t cost me in the end

Pretty good so far except for a few spuds.

I have a suggestion for two polls for this week too. Must have premiums and must have rookies before the bubble. Last year I got blindsided by a few obvious picks that everyone else traded in after round 2 that I somehow missed.

  10. Catta’s Clan@SCT

    1549/14/Dangerfield

Special mentions to Fyfe (157), Adams (135), Dusty (134), Laird (127), Hall (124), Wells (121), Ablett (120), Libba (118), Stef Martin (112), Kennedy (105) & Wines (101) for all raising the bat!

Only 3 players not to raise the bat Dea (87) very acceptable, Rocky injured (48) depending how bad may be turned into Zorko & Barlow (60)….who may be seriously turned into Zac Merrett as Barlow looks terrible.

With Dangerfield, H Shaw, Gibson, NicNat, Kerridge, Weitering, Mills & Hewett to come, I’d be hoping for around 2350-2400!

  11. Team Davo 2016

    1813/16/Fyfe

Wingard and Barlow both well below par , heard Chad was a bit injured so will let it go but Barlow to Z Merret will happen next week ( I’m with ya on that one Catta)

Fyfe, Adams, Martin , Hall, Gray, Laird, Wells and Libba all A class 🙂

Also big Maxy Gawn get better soon or else

  12. 1514/14/Laird

Still have Dangerfield, Bartel, Selwood, Shaw, Kerridge, Mills, Hewett and Weitering. 2300 would be nice after seeing others but unfortunately may not make it thanks to Barlow, Goldstein, Gawn, Rockliff, Oliver and Menadue on field.

A bit unlucky that Fyfe went god mode – but i’ll still get his score and happy that ablett’s not toooo far off him

looking like a good round for most

  15. 1619 / 14 / Fyfe – Adams on field(!) with Danger, Bartel, Birchall, Franklin, Greene, Kerridge, Weitering and Mills to come. Looking at 2300+ which is a good result after the Fyfe/Pendlebury/Greene disaster of last week.

Stoked the Barlow omission paid off with Greene and Rocky to be straight swaps for Hill and Parker/Cripps/Selwood pending results.

Johannsion looks to be the real deal! Hats off to all who had the nuts to start with him.

  16. 1942/18/GAJ

10 raised the bat and I will probably take on board everyone’s concern about Barlow and Rocky. Had Dunkley on the field and Lonergan was a bit poor.

Nice to be back and getting on SCT again to share footy mode with you all (been out of touch for a few weeks) so hopefully can get moving upward.

Noticed some great scores as I have flicked back through the pages, so well done everyone, looks like a great season ahead.

  17. Got a bit of a conundrum here. In my SCTTL side I’ve got the VC on Fyfe, but I only have Byrne available to take his score. Unfortunately, Danger, who I would have the C on if I was unable to take Fyfe, starts playing before Sydney v Carlton teams come out. Does anyone know the likelihood of Byrne coming into the Carlton side?

  18. 1329/14/VC Ablett into Danger

Not to bad but need a good Sunday to get 2200. Usually would take Abletts 120 but Danger is a beast. WTF Ibbotson, 23 really, my point of disaster will become JJ next week.

Top scores all round again SCT

  19. 1818 / 19 / Danger

Bit of a shocker really with Barlow, Cannon, Rich and Rocky.
Not to mention the Dees going complete spaz mode.

Need Mills, Kerridge and especially Danger to have blinders.

  20. 1508 – Gazza – 14 played

Like most, i had Barlow and Rocky. It was always going to be tough week cause i also have Sidebottom. So combined for 1.6m investment I got a 110 return, very disappointing.

Choose Dunkley as Sidebottom’s replacement and he looked like a dear in the head lights. Davis was the better choice. Both Dunkley and Graham are going to struggle to hold there places for next week.

Still have Shaw, Bartel, Priddis, Danger and the Carlton and Swans Rookies.

    Hopefully they all go BIG.

As Catta mentioned above Z. Merrit is looking very juicy for barlow. He looked like shit last night. No doubt he will come good. but god know when that will be.

  21. 1185/12 Danger to captain, no loophole this week.

Considering Rocky and Barlow’s scores, and Robbo on the pine, I’m still projected to get 2240. Pretty happy with this.

Two trades out for sure this week.

  22. Well this week has been great for the Tech team. Regular team not so much.
    1692 from 18.
Still have Danger (C), Nic Nat, Mills and Kerridge.

Last weeks defensive heroes in Rich, Sheridan and Lonergan turned villains. Rockliff, Barlow and to a lesser extent Crouch are sounding alarms, although i think I will hold 2 of them.

My decision to not start B Kennedy again made me feel great at 1/4 time until again he practically scored a ton in 3/4s of footy. I will need to get him in.

At least I had Adams on field!

  23. 1528/15/Danger

Sam Gray not at his best and Lonergan couldn’t find it….. Also spewing for not trading in Zmerret for de goey (I’ve decided to delay it for a week, just give the kid a chance….)

  24. 1396 / 14 / Danger

Barlow and Rockliff the only misfires so far, both are on the block this week. Still have Dangerfield, Priddis, NicNat and Heater today. Projected 2324 but I think that’s a bit ambitious, can’t see Danger scoring 144!

  25. 1400 / 14 / Danger

As above with Chillo, Barlow and Rocky give me issues, law of averages say 1400 from 14 means 2200 from 22 🙂

Projected score 2515, can’t see this happening would be happy with 2350

  27. 1339 / R Gray / 14

Quite a mix of player both under and over performing. Lots to go still

Barlow may be a high enough risk I bail on him, which I am not liking at all. I’m keeping all the younger guys who are starting slowly, but with him not playing in the mids at all, Freo’s terrible form and imminent big price drops, I’m thinking I need to consider bringing someone in for him, either forward or back.

  28. 1447/14/Danger. Pretty happy so far. Barlow has been my only real disappointment. Still tossing up whether to put Mills or Hewett on the field for the Swans.

  29. First post here – thanks for all the great info you all provide!

    1754 / 17 / Danger with the C.

Still have Danger, Shaw, Weitering, Kerridge & Mills to play.

I dropped T Greene to the pine but can swap him for either Kerridge or Mills, not sure I have faith in him against the cats based on last week – any thoughts on this? Or stick with Kerridge/Mills (providing he is actually named as a starter).

Barlow will be going next week… filthy.

  30. 1956 / 17 / Dusty

People are stopping me in the street to tell me how good my Barlow to Zorko trade that I made on Saturday night last week was.

Predictably, GAJ is making me pay for not picking him. I’m tempted to rectify that this week.

  31. 1654 / 16 / Danger

Still to come – Danger, Yeo, Weitering, Kerridge, Buddy, Sinclair

Players who MAY be correctionally traded:
    Rockliff – 89, 48
    Barlow – 61, 60
    Sinclair – 61, ?

  32. 1612 / 15 / Dusty

Still to come Simpson, Bartel, Danger, Kerridge, Weitering, Mills, Hewett

Went back and forth with Dea or Adams on the field and went Dea last min. His 87 looked like a master stroke until Adams pumped out 135!

Finishing with 2200+ would be nice but thats just an average score this week I feel.

Thinking my two trades this week will be Barlow and Rockliff. Went Jacobs in ruck and really regretting it – thought he would be more consistent / reliable than Nic Nat. So far he’s reliably getting 70’s… also went Sloan as a bit of a POD…not working out so far….

  34. 1623/18/Ablett

Still have Sinclair, Parker, weitering & kerridge to play. Hope they go alright to at least get me over 2000 in a terrible week for me in SC after a respectable score last week.

Spuds this week (there are a few): Barlow (looked slow and like crap last night), Rocky (cant help injury but SC dont care), Duncan (feel sorry for him getting ktfo by freight train Mummy but read rocky comment), Degoey and taylor.

Studs this week: Adams (luckily on the ground), Gaz, Hall, Wells, Kennedy, Libba, Martin (outdid goldy after being trounced by nic nat last week), B crouch (only 83 but still good signs from a guy with no pre season and plenty of injuries). Also special mention to all the Essendon cheapies and Milera who while not scoring for me this week sitting on my bench will be making alot of us cash to be upgraded in the future 🙂

  35. 2344/22/gaz awwwwyeeee

gibbo, fyfe, adams to only mention the fewest of many players who stood up. these guys went god mode.

looking forward to rising up the rankings this round.

only possible issues for next week are rocky and barlow

  36. 2117/22/Gaz

Didn’t really recover after Rocky, Barlow, deGoey, Sheridan, Selwood, Crouch all spudded or under-performed and not to mention Steele on the bench. Adams on the pine rubbed salt into the wounds but Gibson was a shining light on an otherwise lacklustre weekend.

Expect to remain around the 20K mark and look forward to a recovery mid-season.
