Progress scores please … by all means include what finals match your playing and how you reckon you’ll fare.

Good luck to all!

Sorry guys, I don’t know how the system works: so I’ll just do it the long way.
Cox, Priddis and J Selwood in play. On 180 to 1/2 time. My captain is GAJ, I love the moment when my opponent doesn’t have him! 5th (me) v 8th. Should win.

Would someone mind explaining to me how the A/B/C works? Is it Points so far/Players to play/Captain?

Thanks.

Normally 180 / 3 / GAJ or something similar (hopefully a bit higher after the game ends mind!).

Don’t usually condone straight out abuse on the site. But in this instance I couldn’t have said it better.

Note: not because I think it disadvantaged my team, but just destroying the flow if the game for both teams…. And WTF was with the ‘deliberate’, both ways was disgraceful…. Won’t even start on the ruck frees!

I was glad to see some bad umpiring that didn’t benefit WC at home.

And of course a game with three Selwood’s and Shuey is going to have a high free kick count.

The Herald Sun live scores seem pretty shocking…
Cox lost about 50pts
Nic Nat lost about 25pts
Priddis lost about 40pts
Stevie J lost about 30pts
Is this because the scores aren’t accurately calculated during the game?
Or am I being punished for my ’2 month free pass’ lasting over 6 months?

Don’t count my chickens just yet Yiorgy. Projections have me up by 30 so nothing in it still.

Pretty happy with NicNat and Stevie J obviously. Duckwood came good late to at least get some respectability to his score.

Going for Redden ahead of 93 from Big O might hurt. That’ll learn me for not listening to my SCT brethren.

400/3/GAJ – Will be a battle to the end in my 2 cash leagues……. Finished 7th & 8th… I won my last regular season round by 15pts to make the 8th possie as I knocked off 7th… won my last 8 in a row in that league.. can only hope it continues. Many thanks to Andy B for your advice on a few trades I made! Helped me get over the line.

I had 1 last trade left and after losing Porps & Chappy.. I made the decision to go Porps to Beams..

I think my team is primed and ready to give the finals a shake up assuming injuries and rested players don’t kill me!

Glad to see Hawkins up and walking later last night -it was a sickening incident. If he was concussed he will most likely be out next week won’t he? Then again the cats will need him…any word yet if there was any other damage? It wasn’t very clear what was wrong other than he hit his head, I was thinking anything from hip, neck, shoulder or jaw!

Would like to clear a few things up coz I’m getting really p&$$ed. I was at the game last night and we DID NOT boo hawkins, we actually clapped him! Yes we booed the umpires after sum really stupid out of bounds free kicks, and yes we booed alot of Geelong players because there were so many of the ball incidents that wasn’t on tv!!! I used to really rate Stevie J but he is the biggest dog! How many times does he want to hit players of the ball! And the whole point of having home ground advantage is that the opposition don’t like playing here. I really hope we get Geelong in the finals just so we can knock em out and thier coach can go have a winge

With 3 minutes prior to lockout i nearly put Newman back on the field instead of Lake or S.Shaw as there were 2 articles about him (coach playing up his importance + Hall of Fame for local footy club) that day which i thought may have been a sign. Held off changing due to his recent form, but suspect now he will go big for a 90 to 110 score today

You would need a fair bit of luck, but you never know as Birch & Harvey do have the odd shocker whilst Hale & Lewis have the ability to score 130 / 140 each.

Been smacked by the karma bus :( After what Tom Hawkins did to my beloved Hawks last week, I was smiling ear to ear when he was subbed off early Friday night, knowing one of my biggest opponents this week has him. Come Saturday night, my own Daisy is subbed off injured early in the second :( NOOOOOO!!!!
Surely karma doesn’t work that quickly. But hey, at least he scored 8 more points than Hawkins!
Now PLEEEEEASE Sammy, have a blinder against Port :-) Everyone else has Baldie as captain and I need a big score to make up from shit performances from Waters, Zorko, Johnson, Goddard, Hurn and Thompson! (Already mentioned Daisy.)

Lots of spuds but thankfully Dangerfield, Beams and Kennedy turned up to play!!

Roughead out makes it only four to left – Maric, Deledio, Martin, Swallow.

Strangely the two leagues i have a double chance in i’m confident i’ll win (one of which is LoEC) but the league where i’m 5th and in an elimination final i need soem special efforts from my Richmond boys. Taking out common players it looks like this:
Me (Thumbs up) – Maric, Martin and 447pt lead
vs
Him (Thumbs down) – Rioli, Riewoldt, Newman, Boyd, Dempsey, Watson(c)

Congrats on your anticipated win in LoEC1 RB. Danger, Beams + Kennedy going crazy for you + Goodes & Pav spudding it for me sealed my fate.
Not having Danger & / or Beams in the finals is proving costly! mmmm.

Need my two mid pricers of Hale & Lake to outscore (+19 points) v Roo Bloke’s prem pairing of I.Maric & A.Swallow – very unlikely indeed!!
I dominated in Friday game points & RB dominated yesterday with Danger, Beams & JP Kennedy (+Scotland & Mummy also solid for him), i need to hope the SC gods swing in my favour for Sunday games with Roughie out for him being part 1.

Will be lucky to score 2350 due to NDS, Godd, S.Thomp, Pav, Goodes & Zorko’s sub par scores. Glad i have double chance in 4 of 5 finals as not looking promising in two top 4 battles!

I only receive facebook messages from Marngrook F.S., but enjoy the show when i remember it is on. Thought it would be a good cheap night out for Pies and Hawks fans who want to see Daicos & Cyril. Seems very family orientated show so kids might even be allowed.

Great show. Have some good tunes as well to go along with the genuine footy talk and a good bit of banter without too much self indulgent BS.

Yeah, it is filmed in Melbourne. I met Gilby coming out of a Fitzroy St bar late on a Thursday night a few months back. Good bloke. Happy to have a chat despite the fact he had a few less than me.

Had some good scores, but also some pretty ordinary ones.
Beams (170), Dangerfield (187), Nic Nat (153) and ROK (121) have been the shining lights.
For a win in my main league i need Suckling + 113 to beat Ellis and Grima.
T/U: I’ll win

I with you on the Goodes issue Motts. With the budget and trades I had left there wasn’t a better option but he was painful to watch last night. On the rare occasion he made his way into the frame he floated round the packs like a 70kg debutant. I still think he can come good on any day but my faith is starting to wane.

You know what Dave? I’d still rather listen to your crap than the Demon idiot I was sitting next to at the MCG yesterday… he sounded like a constipated yeti, booing everytime we lined up for goal. I was about ready to explode- but kept my cool.

Got to give it to the MCG Pies, they can repeatably beat the Swans away (albeit at ANZ & not SCG) & also knocked off the Crows at AAMI.

Dave, only watched a bit of the game last night. Did Didak look sharp enough to be a starter over next 3 & therefore be a reasonable high risk / high reward option for anyone wanting better F7 / DPP sub etc. His price will go south again & surely pies will want game time into him prior to finals.

Not content with beating up on the Melbournes, Richmonds and Footscrays of their own backyard, Eddie’s Angels are spreading their black and white message across the country. Show your disapproval of their nefariously successful infrequent flyer mileage by supporting the boys from the West in round 22 at Subiaco.

West Coast v Collingwood. Make your choice.

Back luck for the Tommahawk here. Had a feeling Ledger was going to play so I popped the green vest on him. I didn’t think Cripps would play (75 was ok!) but it doesn’t matter anyway as I still got Tom’s 15.
I’m waiting on Deledio, Watson, Sammy Gibson, Goldstein & Hale.
We should come through ok.

carnage in my SCTTL..
2087/20/GAJ/One donut in Fyfe
Let down by bad luck with Fyfe & N.Roo. Missed out on putting a fwd line emergency because I was unnecessarily worried about Dean Cox being a late withdrawal -he didn’t play all that well last week and was rumoured to be out, so I was worried he wouldn’t play this week too. So I missed Aaron Hall’s 108 for new recruit Fyfe D’OH! :(
Just waiting on Deledio and Maric in this team. Come on le mullet!

Looking forward to a week off in my cash league. Praying that Buddy, Swanny, Fyfe, Chappy and Roughead will all be back in my team in 2 weeks time for my semi finals.
