  1. 337/3/Can’t Decide.

The above score assumes i loophole Birchall, it’s just who to bench

    T/U Bench Jaensch
    T/D Bench Bob Murphy

  2. 337/3/Selwood(Jacobs)

Fantastic start to the weekend with Mitchell (127) and Birchall (122) going overs as PODs in the Grand Final against my brother. It somewhat makes up for the fact that I’m forced to field Currie as R2.

  3. Here’s the scores so far:
    Me:
Wingard, Bartel, McGovern, Priddis & Doughnut(Kennedy)
    Vs
    My Dad:
502(Lewis VC score included), Dal Santo & Libatore.

So basiiclly I’m screwed & there’s only one man that can pull out a score big enough as captain to win it for me…and he’s sitting on the sidelines injured…so I’ll go for the second best option…Lance Buddy Franklin…if he fails I’ll have to give Rockliff a chance.

  4. LoEC 1 POD progress update

    Me – Sidey 123 – Birchall 122

    Deano – Burger 100

My dilemma for trades on Thursdays teams post was Hannebery and Gray or Lewis and Gunston. Look at the laters scores folks …I chose the previous. Would’ve been hard to beat from here had I not.

  5. Projected to win by 150 with Rocky as captain. Opponent has Selwood as Captain so debating with myself whether to put selwood or rocky as captain myself.

    T/U – Keep the C on Rocky
T/D – Change it to Selwood

  6. 1650/17/Selwood

Including 4 doughnuts! Murphy, Zorko, Kennedy, Suckling.

Have Libba, Dahlhaus, Danger, Swallow and Priddis to go.

  7. 1511 with 5 & the C to come – disaster!

With Stevie J & Beams already on mid pine & then Hodge out on thurs, i did not need late outs to Zorko, Marc Murphy & Buddy! Need a big game from Shenton , but with 2 x doughnut’s i’m going to struggle for 2100. O/A ranking of 120 going to take a hiding.

Went Pendles as VC (why not Selwood!), now to decide between Jacobs or Sloan as C. Leaning towards Jacobs at home v Saints young ruckman.
Thumbs UP for Jacobs as C, Thumbs DOWN for Sloan

  8. 1522/14/Selwood (including two doughnuts)

Little annoyed that I had a full 22 and cover in the backs, mids and rucks and the two late withdrawals had to be from my forward line. A lot have it worse than me though, but still… annoying…

Should be able to take out the LOEC1 minor grand final (or whatever it’s called), as I’m only 98 behind and have Sloane, Liberatore, Riewoldt, Shenton and Roberts against Jaensch.

Small consolation though for my worst SC season ever. First time ranking outside the top 1600 (assuming I don’t leap from 2627 into the top 1600).

Bring on SC Finals and SC 2015!

  9. 2004/18/Selwood (includes a Zorko donut)

Similar to Don’s story above, the late omission of Franklin was able to be covered by L.Taylor, but Zorko’s withdrawal was not able to be saved because Wingard was already locked in midfield.

Simpson’s 117 will go unused on the bench after the SuperCoach iPhone app didn’t register my Bews substitution for Jaensch – a bit annoying, but what can you do? Hopefully Jaensch can pump out a 120 to make up for it.

Special mention to Dan Currie, who was able to stand up and deliver an unlikely 90 in Dean Cox’s absence.

Jaensch, Jacobs, Swallow and Dangerfield to come.

I need 81 more points out of Walker and NRoo to win with three quarters to go.
