  1. 372 from Howe, treloar, j Kennedy, WHE

Not convinced about Howe, only 86… Still doing ok I guess

And florent on my bench is gone after this round

  2. 533/ Pendles VC

Pendles, Treloar, Adams, WHE and Kennedy.

Everyone seemed to have been scaled down? Another scaling to come perhaps?

Good start to round 3 nonetheless!

Really regretting taking Treloar over Pendles at this point. Could’ve afforded it and thought there’d be a relatively negligible difference between the two, but after 3 games Pendles has scored 77 more already.

Not sure whether to take Pendles 125 as captain. Also, I thought Treloar should’ve scored higher than Pendlebury tonight.

Hanners stepped up with a 112 which is a relief, otherwise JPK, Adams and Treloar all tonned up. Treloar is a talent but needs to start looking for targets more often. Easy to say from the couch. 🙂

      1. Danger averaged 132 last year and has just knocked up 138 and 140 this season combined with a 155 last year against Melbourne.

I think the fact that you said the opposition doesn’t have Danger was enough to swing the vote on this one.

  6. 418 /4 Danger VC treloar again.

    Pendles, Treloar, Lloyd, Howe,

Pretty happy with the start 2 Backs 2 Mids, happy I pulled the trade trigger on M Boyd to Lloyd saved me cash, should have listened to the boys from the start over Boyd.

  7. Gawn 27 and injured on the first week that really matters. Will bleed cash now. H2H loss is inevitable.

    1802 / 18 / Dangerfield

Gawn going down has really hurt us this week as well as Taranto being on-field ahead of Parfitt…..but that’s Supercoach! Gotta take the good with the bad. Hopefully we can push over 2100+ which would still be quite competitive for the Round…….

  9. 1852/ 18 players. Took a punt on Joelwood this week didn’t pay off but need to take risks.

Murphy, Beams, Docherty, Roughead still to play.

Preuss and Parfitt would have been nice instead of Gawn and Powell Pepper but what can you do.

Look, Taranto and SPP have been let downs, as with Shaw and Laird. Danger as Skip was safe, and Martin a sort of POD has worked out well since the start. Good to see Dalhause also score well. So far so good. Cmon 97 Flamingos!

  12. 1859 / 19 / Pendlebury

Only Doc, Barrett and Roughy to come. Looks like I’m just going to miss the cut for the SC Cup, not happy! Lots of good scores but playing Stewart and Taranto on the field this week backfired, and then there’s Gawn.

Good round so far, everyone solid without being spectacular. Last game will determine my fortunes with Titch, JOM, Rough, Witts & Swallow to play.

Well, technically Strnadica is skipper this week

Biggest disappointment has been SPP in the Showdown.

Trades: JMac to Adams corrective trade was a no brainer really.

Still to come: Rocky, Beams, NRoo, Steele, Marchbank, Witts, O’Meara, Roughy

Projected score is 2312 but that involves a few numbers that are whack. NRoo’s projected to score 147 which I find hard to believe!

If they avg 80 i’ll score 2213 and a 90 avg gets me to 2293.

    Hope the good times continue!!

Looks solid, need a big Sunday, have Treloar/ Howe instead of Pendles/Adams
Have Doc, Marchbank, Steele, Omeara, Roughy, Witts &
    Beams to go.

  16. Am pre-empting a lot of the discussion this week but who are the most likely replacements for Gawn. Who should I be watching more closely today Martin or Witts, because it is certainly not going to be Goldy.

Hopefully the Sunday curse won’t get me.
Tuohy, Laird and the scaling down of Ottens score disappointing.Hate to say it but it’s all my midpricers that are doing the job.

Decided to hold Hanners and bring in Newman a week early which paid off. Happy with my selection of Llyod this year too, tracking for a top 6 def.

Only downside was florent, who i had on field over butler and Eddy (might be a good thing but at this stage it doesn’t look so).
