Just got home from the game. Was impressed that we didn’t bend over which we’ve done in the last few final quarters. The Pies had their feathers ruffled tonight and that’s enough for me right now. Took the Pies -25.5 as the first leg of my multi so in a sick way I’m kinda satisfied.
575 / 5 / Swan.
Bit unhappy with Swans score as captain, but I guess there are a bunch of people in the same boat. Same goes for Gibbs. Glad I threw Curnow the jersey at the last minute over Harris. This guy is a BALL MAGNET.
328/4/ boyd
Had duigan and curnow on bench with Gibbs and Murphy on the field. Should have been the other way round! If only I could get my hands on docs delorean.
That Port spread bet’s looking a bit shakey now Motts. The Pies were obviously out for a walk in the park tonight without getting out of second gear. Big kudos to Curnlow and Duigan though from a SC perspective. Unfortunately for the Blues they just don’t have enough strength and presence in the back half and firepower and consistency up front. Gibbs and Murphy were once again very disappointing when the heat was on.
The big challenge for your mob is clearly in Rd 14.
417/4/Swan. Warnock killed me. Happy with Duigan pushing up the $$$ (but warming the bench). Here’s hoping my other big guns can pull out some big numbers.
446/5/Godds
Happy that my unique in Juddy scored reasonably well, Curnlow on the bench franked his price increase and Diges had a real crack in Q3 to show he has the fortitude to get in amongst the weeds. Unhappy that MM didn’t give Krak some meaningful time in the midfield although obviously most contenders have him as well as Gibbs.
Stoked that the CD boys didn’t fall for Swanny’s last Q garbage possies which will hopefully make his price a nice upgrade target after the Rd 7 bye.
Time to make up some ground this round on the Swan permacaptain leaders.
507/5/Pendles – Not a happy camper at this stage.
Pendles didn’t do a great deal, Murphy and Gibbs did bugger all. Happy with Krakwhore, happy with Hacksaw Nick Duigan and VERY happy with the “Hacksaw Nick Duigan” reference. Can’t remember which one of you came up with that but it’s gold.
575/5/Swan
As soon as I traded Curnow in instead of Libba before the game I had that sickening feeling I’d made a big mistake. But the kid was good and obviously uses it well. Swan did a Goddard and squeezed a ton out of an average performance. Judd did his best, Gibbs didn’t. Gonna regret having Duigan on the bench.
483/4/Swan
Brought Curnow in but benched him over Libba and Harris. I’m expecting similar scores from them anyway. Fairly happy with the score, but annoyed at my lack of boldness in switching captain from Goddard to Swan last minute.
I’d be interested to know Motts/all view on Bryce Gibbs. This is about the fifth ‘blockbuster’ he’s played in where he just can’t get the ball. And last night when he got it he fumbled, no doubt due to the intense pie pressure.
Dissapointed in Swan’s score, but then again most people either have him or Pendles as el capitano, so no harm done.
Decided last minute against bringing in Curnow (for Bewick). Saved the trade for some tasty down grade targets when Mzungu and friends come back. Short term loss for long-term gain.
In the LoEC, locked in a tough battle with Dragenblade (669/6/Swan).
Going to regret lots of things this week. Gut said Boyd stupid F#@king head said Pendles. Same head also had Hacksaw and Eddie K on the bench. Not out of the running yet but got a shart load of catchup to do.
Glad I jumped on Curonw last night when he wasn’t named as a sub…. Fairly impressed now. Even happier there in no one on blues injury list to force him out…. I smell $400k…. But I prob should have put him on the field.
foley, selwood, montagna and harris better play, as i had liberatore as emg and not curnow, going to go both but ended up going with Markovic as fwd emg, libba mid and duigan def. Should of had hacksaw in instead if maybe otten or lower! DOH!
301/3/Goddard
Juddy: 112
Krak: 81
Swan: 108
RSVs:
Duigan: 95 or something like that
Curnow: 92
Pretty happy with where I am at and especially Swan’s reasonably low score for his standards as all of my opponents had Swan as captain.
last night, anyone watching on TV see at about 17.58 (to go) Hacksaw deliberately run one over the bounfary line, Collingwood player takes the free, Hacksaw smothers, goes to ground, 3 players scrambling for it and Hacksaw taps it over the boundary again and awarded another deliberate out of bounds! I was laughing my head off!
I’m with you. Already have Libba, Harris, Krakouer, Swallow and Prestia. Didn’t want to lose Prestia for DPP swings but gonna hate watching Curnow’s price go throught the roof.
Does anyone know exactly what he’ll go up to next week?
705/7/Swan Not happy so far Had duigan and curnow sitting on the bench instead of Andy Otten and Harris hopin they can atleast match there scores and warnock let me down big time its not over yet but i might struggle to get 2100 the way ive started
Oh oh……..McKernan, Lower, Libba, Harris. On top of Gibbs last night and Suckling, Franklin, Deledio, Cotchin in the wet tonight. Welcome to Ruggle Street. And Sandi’s just been subbed. FCUK!!
That is it. The Fat Lady has sung on my Supercoach for this week at least. Otten, Harris, Lower, Broughton,Sandi at hospital and I had Hacksaw, Curnow and Swallow on the bench. CRAP!
🙁 Gibbs, Otten (spud), McKernan
🙂 Duigan, Swan (opponent had him captain), Krakouer
🙂 🙂 Harris/Swallow/McKernan/Matera (all on bench)
🙂 🙂 🙂 Curnow (on field and $$$), Smith Z ($$ on the pine)
I hear you Motts. I resisted the temptation to make Swan or Judd the big C last night. Couldn’t cope having anything more riding on that game. Thought about Selwood but went with the Sandman. Changed from Sandi to God at the last minute (literally) …
1358/15/swan i was in the top 4% lastweek i wont be after the weekend players that need a kick up the ass sooo far are A,Carrazzo,A,Otten D,Harris,R,Warnock and ill put myself in that category aswell for having Duigan and Curnow on the bench stupid stupid stupid move!!

West Coast v Sydney Swans at Patersons Stadium, 6.10pm
NO LATE CHANGES
FINAL INTERCHANGES
West Coast: Scott Selwood, Sam Butler, Jack Darling.
Substitute: Andrew Gaff
Sydney Swans: Josh Kennedy, Andrejs Everitt, Lewis Jetta.
Substitute: Gary Rohan
I went with a rookie switch (Bewick > Curnow) and saved the second trade. I nearly downgraded Higgins for him. With all the pain this round, that would have tipped me over.
About…1343/14/Boyd.
Most likely be trading Curnow in regardless of his price rise [Should have traded for Boak!], Nevertheless his rise in price should be good even though i’m a 100k short.
Not so sure about Broughton or Otten anymore, but they might have both had a bad week.
Strange round. All my rooks have been serviceable, my prems are killing me (bar Buddy). With that in mind, i think it’ll be a quiet week at the selection table next week…but we’ll leave that for another forum.
trade foley for curnow and then upgrade everitt to enright. everitt finally left his fron bum at home and played a descent game. Nice way to piss me off
1332/10/Swan, Bugger, got rid of Everitt, had Curnow and Duigan on the bench, Duigan would have been my second highest scoring backman so far and I left Harris in the midfield for Curnow, solid scores otherwise including tons from Sandi, Buddy and Pav.
1618 / 15 / Swan.
Sooooo happy with Kennedy, Goodes, Cox, and Buddy tonight. Got my score into a reasonable one…..
I’m still ditching JPK this week though….
1548/16/swan
absolutely gutted i got rid of not only everitt, but kennedy as well..
score isnt too flash, but with goddard, grimes, riewoldt, ryder, selwood, and heppel yet to play, a reasonably high score isnt out of the question this week.
Not sure there’s any Premiership Cups handed out in April Joey Boy however you’ve certainly given me a hiding with all of my uniques failing badly. I think Hurny’s been taking diaretics as not only have his thighs shrunk, but also his confidence.
Im happy but could have been better if i didnt have Conners in my team. Did he get Subbed tonight or is he just crap?? Is there anywhere i can see a list of played Subbed??
Big question is do i get Curnow next week and who i get for Conners after his massive price drop?? anyone has to be better than him. Fair enough it was wet but seriously does anyone have a favourable opinion why i should keep him??
Still have Goddard, Grimes, Hurley, Heppell, Tappscott and Reiwoldt. So hopefully i can get 570 from those guys and a total of 2326, which ill be stoked. Always been a 1900-2100 scorer till this year. More research = Better scores.
1638/17/Swan i have a chance of winning 1out of 2 league matches atleast still got Goddard,Heppell,Grimes,Tapscott, and Gray to come players on notice are A,Otten,A,Carrazzo,
Thankfully I showed a bit of faith in Everitt…just put him on the bench. Here’s hoping Trengrove gets pulled at the last minute so the emergency score counts.
1545/16/Swan
Traded out JP Kennedy for Gilbee for some DPP flexibility. Still got Godd, Heppell, Riewoldt, Tapscott, Chappers and Bartel so 2200 not out of the question. Already made 4 trades so have to stick with these boys for a bit. Very tight game in one league, he put Cross as Captain which could make the difference.
Well well well everitt 126 and kennedy 109 who would have thought it? Glad i wasnt one of those idiots who threw the book at kennedy after 2 games :):):):):):):):):):):)
1586/16/Swan
All players remaining have strong chances of tons so have a decent chance of breaking the 2200 again;
Goddard, Grimes, Selwood, Tapscott, S. Johnson, Reiwoldt
righto, righto, my “crystal ball” didn’t work out last night, bar the hawks final score, which was a goal or two away from my prediction, buddy’s goals as he kicked 5 and my crystal ball said 6, and Foley finished with 24 touches, and i tipped him to get 26, well, I’ll give it to my brother for today’s Geelong vs Port, and i might do Saints and Dons
Polec showing early signs of being the next band wagon to jump on. 50 SC pts in his debut quarter!
Tapscott returns 1pt for the quarter!! He is human after all!
Consistent with the “Return of the Spud” theme for Rd 3, Mitch Clark looks to have finally woken up. Add him to the list of comebacks; JP Kennedy, Everitt, H Shaw, Yarran (actually 111 not 11 as shown at random times on Fanfooty.), Brennan, Goodes, Foley, Gaff (61 starting sub!), Naitanui,
Continuing with Spud status; Johncock, Jolly, Otten, K Hunt, Bateman, Conca, Helbig, Astbury,
On the downward spiral; Delidio, J Reiwoldt, Newman, Dangerfield, Thomas, Warnock, Gibbs, M Murphy, ROK, Hurn,
Killing it; Hodge, Franklin, Fyfe, Thompson, Mundy, Blair, Boyd, Cross, Higgins, GAJ (Apollo – Sun God), R Murphy, Burgoyne, Cox, Goodes, Bolton!!, Priddis
Hope I’m wrong but five minutes in and gods looks a poor choice of captain. Him and saints look woeful! Given all my decisions this weekend have been wrong let’s hope this prediction is also?
2087/19/Swan, 1 day is a long time in footy this time yesterday I was looking down the barrel of a sub 2000.week, then Rockliff and Bartel step up to the plate, Godd/Heppel and St Nick to go
A tough weekend I reckon for many. Managed 1998 and I’ll take it too. I’ve had most of the gun rookies since pre season but every week I’ve gotten which to play and which to leave on pine wrong! Saying that loved Mattner this weekend and my $10 on Hey Jude for brownlow at $101 may be a master stroke. Ps how good was young Ranga Rohan in last quarter for the Swannies, got them over the line I reckon.
2325, swan captain, originally had Franklin but the ankle rumors made me change it!
only gods in backline over 100 other all around 70-90 so pretty happy considering the low scores!
Rockliff, suckling and duncan good value this week again !! 🙂
2179/all of them/swan, not too bad considering, won 4 SC leagues and drew the other one and I had a 12 victory over Deano in the Mistress DT league! Not that DT matters anyway.
Kept JPK with plans to upgrade him to Hodge this week… Not Everitt.
Finally my score came together.
Only had really bad scores from Otten and Tapscott, but for there prices, willing to cop it.
Bartel, Franklin, Selwood, Goodes, Cox, Higgo, and Voldt were all quite handy 😀
Backline = FAIL
Choice of captain (Pendles) = FAIL (changed from Boyd at last minute)
Chossing Otten,Libba and Harris over Duigan,Curnow and Swallow = FAIL
Still scoring 2185 but getting beaten in main league by 105pts = EFFING FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’d like to say that Broughton, Grimes & stevie J are in the gun but I don’t trade Premiums unless LTI but I do have to find some way to get Swannie,GAJ,Watson or Bartel into the line up.
Bad week without my best team on the field (damn last minute trades) and to top it off had my 1st loss, by one point, in my main league. Oh well, must now use the time off over the long break to get the Bender Rovers to hardern the f••• up!
Does anyone know if often was a sub for the crows yesterday?
2394/22/Bartel
Did awesome, maybe I will stick woth Foley for another week after all! Halfway through the round just before the Carlton and Richmond match I was already planning on trading him for Hodge or another premium! Bit with 109 on the board, no way am i trading him!
Who to trade? $243,900 in the bank.
Thinking Otten or Knights (who I had both on bench this week) Foley has cemented another week at least.
Arrrghhh, forgot hoe frustrating SuperCoach can be since last year!
I need someone to answer a question for me as bomber supporter i watched todays game and thought Goddard had a shocker Hell the hell can ya have shocker and still score over a ton? Gooooooooooooooooooo Bombers
I think the secret lies in contested possessions and efficiency %
According to AFL.com.au stats, which I don’t trust much, especially when you toggle different options the figures jump across columns!!!
K H D M T U C DE% Clg
11 17 28 1 6 16 10 86 2
U = Unconstested
C = Contested
Clg = Clanger
DE% = Effective Disposal Percentage
So, pretty high effectiveness, good few tackles and low clangers… together with 28 touches. I’d give that 100. Mind you, I couldn’t watch the game live so just going by stats suggests he contributed.
2081-Swan as captain.
Horror week. Considering dumping Knights and using some extra cash to upgrade. Otten killed me, and expected much bigger from Lids and Gibbs. My defence was miserable, and not having Rioli made it even worse.
Dissapointed with the two players I brought in this week – Newman and Gibbs. They’ll bounce back though. Lids the same. Completey agree with whoever said Goddard will score 700 when he starts playing well!!
Few low scores overall (Tappy, Harris, Otten) with points sitting on the bench (Darling, Heppell, Duigan), but won 3 of 4 leagues. Well done Davo in SCT1.
Don’t dump your Crows too quickly. It will be interesting to see what effect an early bye has on team/individual performances. Although I’m hating Otten tonight, I reckon the Crows will be back up again next week (Knights, Otten, McKernan et al) in the local derby.
If Adelaide’s “bye rebound” is anything to go by, Kangaroos will be sluggish next week. The Dockers could be in for a field day at home. I’m predicting big scores from Lower, Broughton, Pavlich, Sandilands et al. Hmmm, what to do about Richardson, Petrie et al?
If you’re looking for a solid backman around 400-500k, I’d consider Enright. He has his bad days, but his extremley durable and his the go-to-man in the Cats defence. If you’re looking for a mid-pricer, Rob Murphy looks brilliant. Adcock got 130 something too. Lots of options there.
Thanks for the advice! Might hold off his week. Richardson had huge wraps during the pre-season. ‘The next Barlow’ etc. I’d persist with him. Didn’t pick Petrie because I thought Zac Smith was a very good back-up. Surely is! Any news on Sandman’s eye injury?
2186 with swan captain and spuds of the likes of mckernan, deledio and knights to name a few..
have a couple of trade dilemmas.
– who to swap simon buckley for?
– is there still value in putting in curnow of tapscott? (decided to jsut opt with liba.. stupid me!)
– Knights for tapscott as a potential trade? who will go up more?
– Gaff for Curnow as a trade? curnow can still skyrocket.. right?
2,082. Disappointing, but I still managed to win 2 of 4 leagues. Had Cox as captain, but made some terrible bench decisions, like Foley and Duigan. Even managed to only select 2 emergencies (luckily all backman played).
1 huge question on Johncock. Terrible scores, and I’m really not sure whether to hold or trade. What do people think? A 41 and 71 for average of 56.
On another note, Motts, I won’t rub it in. I’ll take it as a lucky win. But I do have to make mention of your choice to trade Everitt for Newman. To put it bluntly, if you had of saved a trade, you would’ve won! 😉
yes PA, and no way did i score 2394 or whatever, seeing how many of you guys have good memories, obviously better than I thought, i thought you would all be caught up in my crystal ball hawks vs tigers stuff up!
don’t think I’m stupid, but i think anyone with Matt Pavlich in their team should put him captain, 20 touches 7 marks 2 tackles and 4 goals 2 in round 10 last year against North Melbourne, which was at Subiaco.
334 / 4 / Joel
371/4 the big cox
168/ 2/ Cox
A bit disappointing from 2 of my big guns, Pendles and Gibbs, but it’s a long way to go.
575 / 5 / Swan.
Bit unhappy with Swans score as captain, but I guess there are a bunch of people in the same boat. Same goes for Gibbs. Glad I threw Curnow the jersey at the last minute over Harris. This guy is a BALL MAGNET.

Before anyone whinges about being burned by Yarran… I told you so! He only had a break even of 54. Ha-ha! (in best Nelson impression)
479/5/Pendles = dissapointed
Murphy,Warnock were shocking but playing pies i’ll let it go.
Pendles, oh well my bad run of captains continues 🙁
Oh why did i not jump on the Curnow bandwagon 🙁
Yeah right, it was you.
Curnow was impressive, one of the best scorers on the ground again. I am wondering now if he is a cow or a keeper. Might be the 2011 Blair?
BTW not much score yet, only have Swan and Krak on field with Swan as captian.
483/4/Swan
Brought Curnow in but benched him over Libba and Harris. I’m expecting similar scores from them anyway. Fairly happy with the score, but annoyed at my lack of boldness in switching captain from Goddard to Swan last minute.
Swan still managed 34 disposals!
550/5/Swan
I’m in trouble in most of my league matches.
A few goal assisits early on, but other than that he had very little impact.
343/3/Penders
Beat Caaarlton, watched Presti unfurl the flag, and HGL’s heroes are travelling o.k so far.
340/4 Gods
I’d be interested to know Motts/all view on Bryce Gibbs. This is about the fifth ‘blockbuster’ he’s played in where he just can’t get the ball. And last night when he got it he fumbled, no doubt due to the intense pie pressure.
Are our expectations too high?
Will he just be a good, not great player?
483/4/Swan
Dissapointed in Swan’s score, but then again most people either have him or Pendles as el capitano, so no harm done.
Decided last minute against bringing in Curnow (for Bewick). Saved the trade for some tasty down grade targets when Mzungu and friends come back. Short term loss for long-term gain.

Don’t know why you’re crowing Brad, you don’t even have him.
Noticed he was in defence for a lot of the game, compared to the last two weeks. He had been playing in the midfield
Yeah, I was just trying to remain positive so as not to spoil my weekend from now.
I’m pinning my hopes on McKernan being a sub. I know you’re reading this Craig David!!
Nonetheless, I’m sure Tippet will do a knee Q1 and McKernan will come on and kick a 5 goal haul and 150 points.
527/6/C Pendelbury. Pretty average effort from Pendelbury, Murphy and co. Only saving grace is my opposition had the same players.
Glad I jumped on Curonw last night when he wasn’t named as a sub…. Fairly impressed now. Even happier there in no one on blues injury list to force him out…. I smell $400k…. But I prob should have put him on the field.
Libber’s sub
Stack and Magin are.
Sorry, keyboard prob’s – I meant:
Libber’s sub….stantial price increase will occur after this week’s lockout. 🙂
foley, selwood, montagna and harris better play, as i had liberatore as emg and not curnow, going to go both but ended up going with Markovic as fwd emg, libba mid and duigan def. Should of had hacksaw in instead if maybe otten or lower! DOH!

that’s better, as in my comment i was really regretting going with libba emg and not curnow, but lucky libba isn’t sub
Pretty happy here. 290/3/bartel. Played only gun played was judd

Dogs sub: Stack. Bench: Ward, Libba, Markovic.
Suns sub: Magin. Bench: Weller, McKenzie, Prestia
Good to c big maveric about to make an impact 😛
458/4/Swan not great, but as mentioned above, I am in the same boat as lots of others.Had Curnow and Duigan on the bench also.
Yeh, he’s been a good pick up.
So fan footy had it right then. How the fcuk did he score 75 DT and only 11 SCs?
In unrelated news, I need Dogs by a wad to keep my multi alive.
I’m with you. Already have Libba, Harris, Krakouer, Swallow and Prestia. Didn’t want to lose Prestia for DPP swings but gonna hate watching Curnow’s price go throught the roof.
Does anyone know exactly what he’ll go up to next week?
Z.Smith 49 at 1/4 time, keep going you good thing.
18 at the half – not much of an impact
I think we all do mate.
705/7/Swan Not happy so far Had duigan and curnow sitting on the bench instead of Andy Otten and Harris hopin they can atleast match there scores and warnock let me down big time its not over yet but i might struggle to get 2100 the way ive started
I just want to express a bit of man-love for S Higgins. All is forgiven, buddy.
libba and harris got 70 and 56 you must be stoked!
And I’d also to thank God that I didn’t nominate Sandilands as captain.
otten and harris are both playing shite. i think a lot of people are gonna be spewing tonight!!
Oh oh……..McKernan, Lower, Libba, Harris. On top of Gibbs last night and Suckling, Franklin, Deledio, Cotchin in the wet tonight. Welcome to Ruggle Street. And Sandi’s just been subbed. FCUK!!
558 / 7 / Joel meh
That is it. The Fat Lady has sung on my Supercoach for this week at least. Otten, Harris, Lower, Broughton,Sandi at hospital and I had Hacksaw, Curnow and Swallow on the bench. CRAP!
Ouch. I feel for you Had McKernan instead of Duigan and Harris as well.
I’ll take Sandi’s 103 from a hospital bed. Better be straight back next week though. Anyone know how serious it was?
1087/12/God Help Me.
🙁 Gibbs, Otten (spud), McKernan
🙂 Duigan, Swan (opponent had him captain), Krakouer
🙂 🙂 Harris/Swallow/McKernan/Matera (all on bench)

SATURDAY NIGHT RICHMOND VS HAWKS – CRYSTAL BALL – JC
BIG CALL:
Tipping Jack Riewoldt to take Mark Of The Year tonight.
Scores:
Hawks: 109 (16.13)
Richmond: 83 (12.11)
Franklin: 6 goals Riewoldt: 4 goals
Burgoyne: 3 goals Morton: 2 goals

How many SC points does Burgoyne score? Opponent has him against my Selwood.
Me: Selwood, Grimes, Cox, Goddard
Him: 149 + Burgoyne, Heppell
Think I’ll be ok but would prefer to know the outcome of tonights game now 😉
Get a new ball Jesus, Mitchell’s out :D.
940 / 12 / Joel
Its getting worse.
Ouch!!!
I hear you Motts. I resisted the temptation to make Swan or Judd the big C last night. Couldn’t cope having anything more riding on that game. Thought about Selwood but went with the Sandman. Changed from Sandi to God at the last minute (literally) …
1047 / 12 / (N) Goddard.
Didn’t look too bad to me. Just swelled up a bit. Tambling cracked him across the eye.
1221/12/Swan
Still locked in a close battle with Dragenbalde (1199/12/Swan)
Deledio/J.Grimes/K.Jack +22 pts (me) vs Heppell/Bruce/Joelwood
*Dragenblade
1236/12/Swan
Anyone got a ton from one of their defenders yet?

Negative ghostrider, 0/5. Hoping on Grimes and Goddard.
Its not all bad today, Darling not the sub.
Yep, but I put him on the pine, traded Boak for him and Everitt for Enright.
My instinct tells me that there will be a Second Quarter Mini Comeback for the Tigers
JP Kennedy looks the goods in the first quarter.
Typically close encounter between East & West.
C’mon Cox!
Solid trading, shocker on the team selection.
I went with a rookie switch (Bewick > Curnow) and saved the second trade. I nearly downgraded Higgins for him. With all the pain this round, that would have tipped me over.
…and Jack is smashing it at quarter time. But you better hope Lids wakes up at halftime.
Thanks Motts.
I feel better about my score 😀
1059/11/Swan
Duigan & Curnow wasting on the bench 🙁
About…1343/14/Boyd.
Most likely be trading Curnow in regardless of his price rise [Should have traded for Boak!], Nevertheless his rise in price should be good even though i’m a 100k short.
Not so sure about Broughton or Otten anymore, but they might have both had a bad week.
1261/13/Swan
Cox, Darling, Goodes, Heppell, Grimes, Gray, Goddard, Selwood, N.Riewoldt to go
Stick a fork in me: 1121 / 14 / Joel
As soon as Cyril got a week I knew I was in trouble. Brought Newman in for Everitt this week and he then cops a back tag. Ripper.
1378/15/Pendles.
Stinking it up in a huge way.
Strange round. All my rooks have been serviceable, my prems are killing me (bar Buddy). With that in mind, i think it’ll be a quiet week at the selection table next week…but we’ll leave that for another forum.
FU Everitt.
Baha was just writing the same thing Motts. Where the Fark did that performance come from andre ??
Guaranteed to happen as soon as we hit the trade button :D.
trade foley for curnow and then upgrade everitt to enright. everitt finally left his fron bum at home and played a descent game. Nice way to piss me off
Who kept Josh P Kennedy?
I know i did [=
omfg…everitt 126?!?!?!?
Gotta love the stress levels caused by those midpricers.
1332/10/Swan, Bugger, got rid of Everitt, had Curnow and Duigan on the bench, Duigan would have been my second highest scoring backman so far and I left Harris in the midfield for Curnow, solid scores otherwise including tons from Sandi, Buddy and Pav.
1347/13/Swan, A Otten, H Grundy on notice espicially when I have Lower and Duigan sitting on the pine
1586/16/Swan
1519 / 16 / Godds (N), Game Over Deano.
And his breakeven was 110…
1618 / 15 / Swan.
Sooooo happy with Kennedy, Goodes, Cox, and Buddy tonight. Got my score into a reasonable one…..
I’m still ditching JPK this week though….
1521/15/Swan, SC site just updated and included tons from Massive,Goodes. Tomorrow brings Enright, God, Grimes, Heppel, St.Nick, Joelwood and Tappy.
1548/16/swan
absolutely gutted i got rid of not only everitt, but kennedy as well..
score isnt too flash, but with goddard, grimes, riewoldt, ryder, selwood, and heppel yet to play, a reasonably high score isnt out of the question this week.
1816/17/Swan
Cashed in on some big scores tonight which should see me home in all 5 matches.
Not sure there’s any Premiership Cups handed out in April Joey Boy however you’ve certainly given me a hiding with all of my uniques failing badly. I think Hurny’s been taking diaretics as not only have his thighs shrunk, but also his confidence.
1386/16/Godds
Disgraceful effort from my PODs.
Great score Mikey – if you can cash in tomorrow you will go close to the $1K with all the failures amongst most of the SC site regulars.
Probably time to concentrate on DreamTeam Motts since you are scoring higher there.
never would of though it!!
reckon cox has become a must after his first 3 performances?
Won’t get near the cash, mate. Just looking to climb the rankings with most other coaches struggling a bit.
a super must
1510/15/Swan
Thank god Buddy and Goodes lifted this week
Goddard,Heppell,Montagna,Selwood,Tapscott,Riewoldt and Stevie J to go. Hoping to crack 2100 at least
1756/16/boyd
1621 / 18 / Swan
I’m getting flogged across the board in my leagues.
I’m totally agreeing with you Motts, i did that same trade, but newman will come good soon
1638/17/Swan i have a chance of winning 1out of 2 league matches atleast still got Goddard,Heppell,Grimes,Tapscott, and Gray to come players on notice are A,Otten,A,Carrazzo,
1791/18/Swan
Thankfully I showed a bit of faith in Everitt…just put him on the bench. Here’s hoping Trengrove gets pulled at the last minute so the emergency score counts.
Reckon the only place I’ll get a win this week is in the Sportsbet fantasy footy league.
And my multi if the Dees can win by 25+ today.
Just thought that I would mention that I am playing Dr.DT in one league and he has left Drew Petrie in the forward line and C.Richardson is his emerg.
1783/18/Swan
Defence a shambles this week, but not too bad overall with Roo, Grimey, GOD and Tappy to play. In the firing line this week is Otten only.
Might have just snuck ahead of Dragenblade (1635/17/Swan). POD are Grimey (me) vs Heppell/Selwood. Ice men, how are yous travelling?
1545/16/Swan
Traded out JP Kennedy for Gilbee for some DPP flexibility. Still got Godd, Heppell, Riewoldt, Tapscott, Chappers and Bartel so 2200 not out of the question. Already made 4 trades so have to stick with these boys for a bit. Very tight game in one league, he put Cross as Captain which could make the difference.
Well well well everitt 126 and kennedy 109 who would have thought it? Glad i wasnt one of those idiots who threw the book at kennedy after 2 games :):):):):):):):):):):)
“thighs shrunk”, 😀 🙂 :P.
1586/16/Swan
All players remaining have strong chances of tons so have a decent chance of breaking the 2200 again;
Goddard, Grimes, Selwood, Tapscott, S. Johnson, Reiwoldt
Going terrible. 1528/16/swan. This is an indication of how bad im going, IM LOSING TO SHANE CRAWFORD!!
WIll be happy to crack 2000 after everyone failed this week…
Looks like 2 losses for me… 🙁
1266/14/Y
Not such a good round thus far, am hoping my last 8 blokes come home with a minimum of 934 points.
1431/15/Swan
Enough said……. 🙁
Morton and Bewick are the subs for today’s first game
righto, righto, my “crystal ball” didn’t work out last night, bar the hawks final score, which was a goal or two away from my prediction, buddy’s goals as he kicked 5 and my crystal ball said 6, and Foley finished with 24 touches, and i tipped him to get 26, well, I’ll give it to my brother for today’s Geelong vs Port, and i might do Saints and Dons

*Shhhhh! But there will be a “super sub” *
TC 🙂
Any other games requested or SuperCoach score requests, just post a comment
1555/16/N (Goodard)
Reiwoldt, Grimes, Goddard, Varcoe, Selwood, Tapscott to play.
next one, accidently pressed ” submit “
1367/16/Y …. just keeps getting worse, Savage on the bench with a 121.
Forget DUCKing, you should run for cover.
In the style of Motts – FU Rockliff – got rid of him and he scores 163 – oh the humanity!
Man love for Jelwood Motts. Or hatred for demons -25??
1870/19/Pendles
Not happy with the captain choice
Spuds: Knights, Gibbs, Broughton, McKernan, Harris,
Safe For Now…: Cross, Grimes
Heroes!: Adcock, Goodes, Cross, Cox, Buddy, Higgins, Yarran
😀
Hope I’m wrong but five minutes in and gods looks a poor choice of captain. Him and saints look woeful! Given all my decisions this weekend have been wrong let’s hope this prediction is also?
OMFG – Revenge of the Rejects!!!
What’s the -25 call Pabs?
Both mate. On the latter, thankfully I only ever bet a blue swimmer. Was looking at a $150 collect tho’.
Damien the omen (2) – Motts was on demons for a multi bet collect but needed them to win 25+. oh well only a tenner lost.
Any hope brendan could get a touch???
199 up with Goddard vs Watson (capt) and Hurley.
At the start I thought I’d be sweet but after looking at the points at qtr time the turtles head is starting to poke.
Thanks Pabs.
RE: Goddard, I sure hope he fires up soon. Need him to beat Heppell. I’m going down to the wire against Well Orled Masheen!
1878 with St Nick and 2 x Godd.
Hoping for a Miracle.
Note to self. Always play Heppel reguardless of the team!
1992/20/Boyd-Riewoldt and Goddard.
BG it’s called FOOTball not handball…
You’ve captained the son of Mathew Boyd and Nick Riewoldt AND Goddard??
Reckon I’ve just scored a win in my premier league (the one worth the $$$ at the end of the year). YOU F’KING BEWDY!!!!
1874/19/Swan
Goddard, Heppell and Riewoldt left
2087/19/Swan, 1 day is a long time in footy this time yesterday I was looking down the barrel of a sub 2000.week, then Rockliff and Bartel step up to the plate, Godd/Heppel and St Nick to go
2215, Bartel and Buddy saved the day, thanks champs.
Nice Davo you’ll go close to winning the 1K
2180
Good score PA
2262 and rather pleased
2188*
A tough weekend I reckon for many. Managed 1998 and I’ll take it too. I’ve had most of the gun rookies since pre season but every week I’ve gotten which to play and which to leave on pine wrong! Saying that loved Mattner this weekend and my $10 on Hey Jude for brownlow at $101 may be a master stroke. Ps how good was young Ranga Rohan in last quarter for the Swannies, got them over the line I reckon.
Don’t sell yourself short, System. Add another 9
Is that the philanthropist league?
Agree Michael. Haven’t played Heppell on field this year. I won’t get fooled again!
2357.
Best score so far – Not sure what that says about my first 2 rounds…
Yeah thanks Iron got in b4 it was official, 2224 in the end. Nice result btw Iron :).
Much love for the Ranga 😀
2139
Respectable, and snuck in by a straight kick over Dragenblade in the LoEC. The Phat Side are back in town!
2214
All’s well that ends well! phew!
Don’t tell me you kept Everitt and JPK 😀 ?, great result Crabman.
2145/Pendles
WOO HOO! thankyou very much to Goddard,Fisher,Watson and Boak who pulled out a miracle victory in my money leauge to win by 1 SC point
only one way to put it………………………..”DELICIOUS”!!!
12 points that was meant to be….
What’s are the standings in the LoEC? Must be time for a SCT League update, Duckmeister.
146 as of R2 Standings.
Backline = FAIL
Your league isn’t travelling too bad either PA, 252 after R2.
2228
not bad for choosing the wrong people to start on the field…
Scratch earlier score 2161! Def take it!!!
2167
Won 3/5 League matches. In Bigfooty and tooSerious leagues and man are they tough, just narrowly losing
@PA, did I do you in mistress dt league?? Not that dt matters..
Yeah, sideways :P.
1933 – Swan. Kill myself now??? 🙁
2033
Ok, Broughton, lift. Grimes, lift. Otten, lift.
2044 lost both of my league matches no need to panick yet but the players im not impressed with are A,Carrazzo, A,Otten, R.Warnock,And T,Walker
I need someone to answer a question for me as bomber supporter i watched todays game and thought Goddard had a shocker Hell the hell can ya have shocker and still score over a ton? Gooooooooooooooooooo Bombers
Let me in, I wanna start trading!
Are there any backmen (aside from Goddard) that can score 100?
Andy Otten, If I could buy anything for $185K you’d be in trouble.
Varcoe is a rollercoaster.
Some smart trading over the lon break could
Ive got Heath shaw Omen his been servicble for me so far
You can add D,Harris to that list aswell
… Some smart trading over the long break could see a very different team running out in Rd 7.
I think the secret lies in contested possessions and efficiency %
According to AFL.com.au stats, which I don’t trust much, especially when you toggle different options the figures jump across columns!!!
K H D M T U C DE% Clg
11 17 28 1 6 16 10 86 2
U = Unconstested
C = Contested
Clg = Clanger
DE% = Effective Disposal Percentage
So, pretty high effectiveness, good few tackles and low clangers… together with 28 touches. I’d give that 100. Mind you, I couldn’t watch the game live so just going by stats suggests he contributed.
On another note Dazz, as a Blues supporter, just going by stats (i.e the score) I’m a little bit scared about next week!
2276, won all my leagues good way to go into the bye rounds
ATM Dream Team matters alot to me Russ. Well done mate.
2125, pretty happy given how horribly everyone went.
Looking forward to the next three weeks, another round of rookies bursting and then multibyes separating the league win teams from the long term ones.
1980….the horror, the horror
There were plenty of good things about the 1980’s but that’s not one of them 🙂
PA,very off topic and no doubt very stupid question but, where/how do you come up with your emoticons?

2081-Swan as captain.
Horror week. Considering dumping Knights and using some extra cash to upgrade. Otten killed me, and expected much bigger from Lids and Gibbs. My defence was miserable, and not having Rioli made it even worse.
Back to the drawing boards this week 🙁
Leesagate Mark II,
OK I’ll stop after this. Don’t get 😈
🙄 😳 😥 😆 💡
2088 for the second time this year.
After this weekend, I can’t cope with anything more Collingwood at the moment Dazz. Might think about it once I make some Cow $$$.
Thanks for the advice! Might hold off his week. Richardson had huge wraps during the pre-season. ‘The next Barlow’ etc. I’d persist with him. Didn’t pick Petrie because I thought Zac Smith was a very good back-up. Surely is! Any news on Sandman’s eye injury?
mmmm Murphy, R
Only two teams scored 2394 – neither one has Foley. The thick plottens!
I’ll be keeping a close eye on Sandilands.
🙄
Not worth it Mikey, can’t believe we’re only 400 points off the leader .
And in other news, the ‘Supercoach Battle’ League is 16 spots away from top 100. Not bad.
279th best round score.
I don’t mean to brag 😀
PA’s league sitting at 162. 😀
Thumbs up if TC’s Crystal Ball was better than JC’s. Thumbs down if worse. Who do I do next week?
i think he meant Hawks vs Tigers, cuz that’s when Foley scored his 109, but he only scored 2080 or something like that!
don’t think I’m stupid, but i think anyone with Matt Pavlich in their team should put him captain, 20 touches 7 marks 2 tackles and 4 goals 2 in round 10 last year against North Melbourne, which was at Subiaco.
Alternatively TC you can put Swan captain as a long shot. He scored a respectable 190 last year against the Tiggers…
