Well my round was ruined by Kreuzer and Varcoe going down in first qtr last night. But still managed to scrape together 2298. A big thanks to Cox 🙂

Not a bad start.
Trades worked well for me this week. Varcoe -> Kennedy payed off big time and Karnezis -> Dwyer freed up more cash to hopefully turn Vlastuin into Birchall next week

Won 4/5 leagues, lost 1 to the loophole (Cox)……which I’m not a fan of & out of princeable I won’t use it ( I know you think I’m mad ) but I’m all about a level playing field & everyone cannot live by the computer & change teams throughout this BS rolling lock-out rubbish over the week-end!

My dalliance with picking the right rookies to start every week continues. This week started Pittard (41) and Jaegermeister (40), with Kobi (84), MJones (77) and Heath (77) all on the bench.
Still, 3 2300+ scores in a row, 4/4 league wins including LOEC 2 (Catattack) and SCT Cash (Buddyunbeatable). Happy with that! 6/9 tipping, made a few more $$ on the punt, and lets not forget that magnificent win by Hodgey and the boys at the G!
2320/cox. couldve gone massive with a little more from danger, walker pittard, swan, o meara, stevenson. all who played today, so i was looking real good last night.
viney and dwyer too but you cant expect a heap from rookies every week.
still, its sounding like a nice score with other popular picks not performing, and after 2 poor weeks to start, ill take it.

Can’t be too hard on the rookies though.
Have only used 1 trade so far and have over $500K in the bank!!
2159… no good in the SCT leagues but won a couple of local leagues.
Not the best week for Zorko… he’s probably the only major concern but he does get GWS in a few weeks… hopefully he can turn it all around!
Will need to do a bit more homework on the captaincy this week. Loopholed with Watson and didn’t do much better with GAJ on Saturday night.

Danger over Cotchin still haunts me but im sure he’ll come good….Swan lowish but pies wont get bossed like that too often….
Happy with Dusty who’s passing on his second half performances to Danger..Fyfe and Cox and HH also….

zorko, omeara and pittard where the only let downs. i had faith in zorko but i think he is on the chopping block this week. cant seem to get lucky choosing the right rookie to have on bench but that the game. overall petty happy though. top score in all my leagues winning all 5 matches.

What a weekend very up and down. had the highs of JPK, JJK, Hannebery, Martin, Fyfe, Pendles, Wines, Birchall, Cox. But then the lows of Zorko, Kreuzer, O’Meara, Pittard, fielding a few of the wrong rookies and then some others under performing. A win in all my leagues, and top scored in them all except for one. Overall very happy with my final score 😀

This is my first year, I’m going ok but I keep making silly errors with trades. I’ve made 2 stupid trades that I regret and 1 good one so I’m a little hesitant. What should I do about Varcoe?

Some disappointing scores, really considering on putting Zorko on the chopping block this week, might hold back though.

Won 3 out of 5, but the two I lost the SC Cash League Phat side cleaned me up with 2312, good score mate. then the LOeC2 league was more heart breaking losing to the Mighty Blues Team AHhhhhhh.
But the great news I can get out of the weekend got up finally in the SC draft league knocking off Travis, with my inpsired draft choice of Luke Hodge at the start.

I won my scttl1 as well, but tried to trade there and said all my trades have been used (but none have). Anyone come across that before?
2208 3 out of 5 bad rookie selections cost me wines on bench rolling lockout caused that decision arg and wtf Luke brown 12 how is that even possible dropped 900 places to 4,890 thought it would have been worst will be trading danger to hodge time to make a gusty trade 🙂

3/5 league wins. Why did I field Luke Brown over Stevenson? Oh yeaahhhh.. because I thought Port were going to lose! Well done to them, going very well thus far! The other thing is reminding myself to stick with intuitive feelings, should gone the big C for Coxy. Nevermind, GAJ is fairly reliable.

In 5 comps, won all but LOEC3, 2205/Cox. Varcoe’s 9 hut me in the one I lost.
2137 with a very junior list and Varcoe so pretty happy. Sucks for Varcoe, such a great bloke and clearly a quality footballer when he can get his body right.
