Why is Bartel named on the bench? I’m a bit unsettled by that one.

Tibbet Plays. Was going to trade him, What to do???!

You can’t get him out quick enough! Crows are clearly playing guys injured. No big scores to come. Price to keep dropping.

Put it this way, what could be a sideways trade this week could be an upgrade next week. Eg, Tippett to drop 30-40k, and say Riolo goes up 40-50k, that’s 90k change!

Stop confusing me Brad!! I have rewolt and $316,000 in the Bank. Might get Sandi (Tibbet is my ruck) Then trade Volt for Rok or Riolo

Sorry Rusto, but someone needed to talk some sense.

Sounds like good trades to me.

Tippett’s your ruck? Then it’s easy. Like you said, Tippy -> Sandi and Roo -> ROK. You’ll be using 2 trades and getting 2 premiums. All good mate.

And he’s up against a pretty ordinary Blues backline, though Jamison should hold him. Hellooooooooo Taylor Walker . . . grab yourself a ton, Sunshine!

i need to get rid of tippett and roo. i can either go sandi + cyril but im worried about his O.P. or i could go Pav or Didak and kreuzer who has scored 48, 112 and 100odd so i have a dilemma…

Was thinking of trading Mitch Clark for Jamar, or keeping clark, saving a trade and giving Warnock a run this week. Will clark come good? I think Jamar should score pretty well as no. 1 ruck in an improving demons outfit. Or go the other way and do the Clark – Kreuzer trade ( Jamar’s a bit cheaper though). Thoughts appreciated

Brad April 15, 2010 at 7:41 pm

Re: Clarke, not sure he will get to the heights of last years, mainly due to team strategy and big Luey. But maybe his price now reflects what he will be like when he comes back. The price will still drop tho, but may come back a bit afterwards.
Jamar could well end up the 2nd or 3rd best ruck in the comp this year. Should continue to improve too as the boys around him learn where to run etc.
Kruz has been good, with only one bad game. Will have Judd kicking it to him from now on too! Tough call.
Depends on if the money you save will buy you a premium upgrade elsewhere. IMO, Sandi is the only ruck worth having.

A bit late for ratings, however: 6/10. 7-8 premiums in my opinion, and that’s at a push. Backs and forwards are solid, but not spectacular. Mids are very strong. Should have cashed in on the plethora of rookies around with only Barlow and SOS starting.

Medhurst should be under strong consideration to take a hike.

Mind, this could all be a set-up, and you’re averaging 2200+.

Maybe need to trade for some premiums over the next 6 wks with minimal rookie upgrades. Only 6.5 prem’s for my liking is going to find you short in the 2nd half of the season.

ssss, that has to be one of the worst backlines I have seen this year. Ur midfield is 1st class, but no Gaz????!!!!!
Ur forward line is the smallest ive seen also! No love for the big fellas? J. Brown would be a welcome addition also.

Get the likes of Gilbee, Fisher and Malceski into that backline when u sell ur cash-cows off and u may have a decent side eventually.

Like or Dislike: Thumb up 0 Thumb down 0

say what you want about the backline Nicko but they have been very good averaging 87 all together while by themselves- HT-92, JG-93, JF-88, BW-88, MF-86, AS-82 and CH- 76, it’s the forwards that are under achieving but no more Tippet and Higgins and Rioli join the forwards

Keep an eye on Silvagni, he is on an extended freo bench, and Nahas is on an extended tiger bench. This could be disastrous for you if both don’t play.

Even more disturbing he’s not even an emergency! He’ll only get the lazy 30 touches and 5 goals in the reserves this week and get some touch…

Ratten and Voss won’t be fooled with a couple of dodgy selections. Tippett won’t play… You’ll notice Griffin in the emergencies much like Johnson in the emergencies for the Dogs… by design to play a few mind games.

I hope…

I haven’t even heard of half the guys the Crows have named and Tippett and Dangers are questionable. Both teams would have had a rocket put up ‘em after last week’s performances, I just have a feeling that the Blues have the cattle to enable them to respond a little better.
