  1. waite/thornton out for the blues is a big call. bit harsh on waite especially. what to do with podsi?? named at chf. time to bring him off the bench after 102 last week????

    1. You can’t get him out quick enough! Crows are clearly playing guys injured. No big scores to come. Price to keep dropping.

Put it this way, what could be a sideways trade this week could be an upgrade next week. Eg, Tippett to drop 30-40k, and say Riolo goes up 40-50k, that’s 90k change!

      1. Stop confusing me Brad!! I have rewolt and $316,000 in the Bank. Might get Sandi (Tibbet is my ruck) Then trade Volt for Rok or Riolo

        0
        1. Tippett’s your ruck? Then it’s easy. Like you said, Tippy -> Sandi and Roo -> ROK. You’ll be using 2 trades and getting 2 premiums. All good mate.

    1. And he’s up against a pretty ordinary Blues backline, though Jamison should hold him. Hellooooooooo Taylor Walker . . . grab yourself a ton, Sunshine!

  2. i need to get rid of tippett and roo. i can either go sandi + cyril but im worried about his O.P. or i could go Pav or Didak and kreuzer who has scored 48, 112 and 100odd so i have a dilemma…

  3. Was thinking of trading Mitch Clark for Jamar, or keeping clark, saving a trade and giving Warnock a run this week. Will clark come good? I think Jamar should score pretty well as no. 1 ruck in an improving demons outfit. Or go the other way and do the Clark – Kreuzer trade ( Jamar’s a bit cheaper though). Thoughts appreciated

    1. Re: Clarke, not sure he will get to the heights of last years, mainly due to team strategy and big Luey. But maybe his price now reflects what he will be like when he comes back. The price will still drop tho, but may come back a bit afterwards.
Jamar could well end up the 2nd or 3rd best ruck in the comp this year. Should continue to improve too as the boys around him learn where to run etc.
Kruz has been good, with only one bad game. Will have Judd kicking it to him from now on too! Tough call.
Depends on if the money you save will buy you a premium upgrade elsewhere. IMO, Sandi is the only ruck worth having.

  4. my final team for round 4 is- would appreciate and comments or ratings!!!
    Backs- M.Firrito, J.Gram, B.Waters, J.Frawley, H.Taylor, A.Silvagni, C.Hooker(B.Nason(EMER), S.Stevens)
    Mids- R.O’Keefe, D.Swan, L.Anthony, J.Selwood, M.Barlow, J.Watson(R.Bastinac(EMER), B.Moles)
    Rucks- A.Sandilands, N.Naitanui(R.Warnock, D.Bass)
    Forwards- S.Higgins, S.Byrnes, E.Betts, C.Rioli, D.Giansiracusa, R.Petterd, P.Medhurst(J.Podsiadly(EMER), R.Roberts)

    1. A bit late for ratings, however: 6/10. 7-8 premiums in my opinion, and that’s at a push. Backs and forwards are solid, but not spectacular. Mids are very strong. Should have cashed in on the plethora of rookies around with only Barlow and SOS starting.

Medhurst should be under strong consideration to take a hike.

Mind, this could all be a set-up, and you’re averaging 2200+.

Maybe need to trade for some premiums over the next 6 wks with minimal rookie upgrades. Only 6.5 prem’s for my liking is going to find you short in the 2nd half of the season.

          2. ssss, that has to be one of the worst backlines I have seen this year. Ur midfield is 1st class, but no Gaz????!!!!!
Ur forward line is the smallest ive seen also! No love for the big fellas? J. Brown would be a welcome addition also.

Get the likes of Gilbee, Fisher and Malceski into that backline when u sell ur cash-cows off and u may have a decent side eventually.

            0

            0
          3. say what you want about the backline Nicko but they have been very good averaging 87 all together while by themselves- HT-92, JG-93, JF-88, BW-88, MF-86, AS-82 and CH- 76, it’s the forwards that are under achieving but no more Tippet and Higgins and Rioli join the forwards

            0

            0
    2. Keep an eye on Silvagni, he is on an extended freo bench, and Nahas is on an extended tiger bench. This could be disastrous for you if both don’t play.

      0

      0
  5. firrito, pettard, frawley, anthony??? why why why. your forward line just looks hit and miss. but if its working for you then what would i know!

    0

  6. Even more disturbing he’s not even an emergency! He’ll only get the lazy 30 touches and 5 goals in the reserves this week and get some touch…

Ratten and Voss won’t be fooled with a couple of dodgy selections. Tippett won’t play… You’ll notice Griffin in the emergencies much like Johnson in the emergencies for the Dogs… by design to play a few mind games.

    I hope…

      1. Motts are you as upset as me over Thornton and Waite being dropped?? We really need this win. And without them and Bower still injured our backline is looking thin….

        0
          1. Noooooooo I should do the same but I just cant do it!!….We have a horrible record over there as well ๐Ÿ™
(im sticking with the boys – fingers and toes crossed!)

          1. I haven’t even heard of half the guys the Crows have named and Tippett and Dangers are questionable. Both teams would have had a rocket put up ’em after last week’s performances, I just have a feeling that the Blues have the cattle to enable them to respond a little better.

            0

            0
      2. Inside source from the crows says unless Kurt and Danger have a miracle overnight they will be late withdrawls.

        1. Thanks Pat, but I think ur talking shit as Pat Dangerfield and Tippet both trained this morning at full tilt.

Do us all a favour and eat a dick up.

          0

          0
  7. With Juddy back this is going to help my game. Me and Murph wont cop the tag and we will both score over 150 SC points to get the blues home by 6 goals.

  9. Would look better if I was in your team. Overall I would give it a 6.5/10 alot of mediocre players in there. Are you sure you spent the whole 10,000,000?

    0

    0
    1. hey nah didnt spend all 10 mill, had to make trades through injury gt 100k left using that to up grade to J Brown yes average is around 1900 had 3 shocker weeks looking to hit the 2000.

    I hope…
