Kennedy, Bugg, Murphy (c), Pfeiffer got together and decided that they’d prefer that not to happen.
Oh well won my SCTTL3.

This week’s agenda will be readdressing the slide of the last two rounds. Need to trade out McEvoy and Magner >> Korsley is almost a lock.

Mine: approx 1911, copped one donut I think with late changes to my saints team. Having an absolute shocker of a year. Up the creek without a paddle.
SCTTL: 2219 -was also saved by little Devon as emergency in the middle for bloody Selwood. Amused my son was playing ‘Kasie’ on the SCTTL3, my daughters name is Kasey.
Highest score in my leagues I’ve seen this week is 2445 (work league, someone who was automatically slotted into our league as it wasn’t full come start of the season) aka a ringin.
On the plus side I won $150 on the way home from the footy last night when I was convinced to visit the pub and pokies on-route to home. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not a fan of the pokies but happy to come out ahead on the night. Yes my SC is going that bad I’m changing the subject….

Pendles did well on debut as capt! and thank you Stanton for producing the goods to get me over the line.. 100+Big Mc vs Priddis and Hurn in the last game (in main league) and got over the line by 14 points!!

The hits keep on coming, but the The phat Side keeps getting up off the canvas. This week:
- Selwood late withdrawal. Donut.
- McEvoy late withdrawal. Gone for 6 weeks. Giles as cover.
- Dempsey subbed out at 3/4 time.
Beat Bender Rovers comfortably in the end (he also had a donut with Nic Nat), and won against the top team in my cash league (he had Murphy as a C).
Brriliant debut from Pendles, and great effort by Devon who together with Pendles probably saved my bacon. I had a feeling that Devon would do well and he didn’t dissapoint. Keeps his place for a few weeks yet.

Might make an upgrade or two, hopefully GAJ comes back. Expecting a big score next week, yet to crack 2200. Goodes’ injury is a concern hopefully he isn’t out to long.

After looking like a good week, thanks to a few players it all fell away and could only manage to scrape to an ugly score. It is wrong to start pointing out names….. Murphy, lift your game! My 8,799 ranking will cop a huge beating. First score under 2000, back to the drawing board now. Time to put that 1 behind me and move on to next week.

Back to the wall….My last two weeks have included two scores of 1850 and 5 doughnuts…I was the self proclaimed doughnut king…..
He had Kruezer I had Selwood ..We know how that changed in the space of 24 hours….

4/4 league wins for the first time this year! Seems just a bit over par I think considering a few late changes and under performing premiums. Extremely happy with my captain selection of Pendles over Murphy just before lockout. Relived that I let the SCT poll I put up decide who I should get out of Christension and Zaharkis, I went with Zaha luckily.

Up and down round.
Copped a doughnut from Selwood in the guts, and Bugg, Giles and Kennedy were pretty dissapointing.
Was happy with my captain choice, and my decision to trade Mummy to Roughead, not NicNat.
But the real reason it was a dissapointing weekend was Sydney losing a game where we DOMINATED the inside 50′s 67 – 45 (I think), and Liverpool losing the FA cup final
Only praying that Goodesy is okay…

I blame my big week at Warrnambool for some rushed silly decisions. I know you want me to tell you:

They said on SEN the other day Judd is likely to be rested every 6 weeks this year. Normally he’s one of the first picked of course ! Murphy has had a blistering start to the year, maybe he just had a bad week this week. Swan started slowly but looking like a good bargain.

Sitting 2nd place in a five way tie for 1st with DamenS, Goldmember, El Greco & Nahla in SCT 1 after knocking off the Slackers 2020. This league is ranked 191st overall.
Sitting 13th in SC Champions League after getting done by Rummel India Jungle 2276.
Sitting 16th in the SC FA Cup League after notching my first win of the year over the Portland Players 2124. This league is ranked 53rd overall.
In SCTTL2, scored 2261, beat Shaw Bet and have won my last 2. In 10th position, but, less than 1% behind Motts in 6th.

And it will take at least 3 trades per week to field something close to a full side, you only have 18 trades left.do you go for the title and blow trades(thumbs up) or sit back and field the best side you can(thumbs down)!

Great work. Making sure you have a full team c/w emergencies without the need for burning 2 trades a week is the go for my money. Everyone else around you in the top 200 will be down to 10 trades by Round 11 so just keep plugging away and try & keep up with the leaders.
Adams being DPP could be the go this week as being tight on trades requires plenty of DPP’s in my book. Some good bargains like NDS coming up in the next few weeks.

Not sure how your team is set up at the moment but if you can get to RD 11 with only 2 players from each line having the bye that week and coverage on the bench it would be a massive help. It also means you don’t have to trade anyone in that week who will be missing in the nest week or two.

So, anyone thinking that Murphy is proof that you don’t need to “rest” players against GWS or GCS – they can just rest for three quarters of the game and then turn it up if things are looking a bit dicey. Seriously thinking Murphy was told to take a back seat unless absolutely required.
