Pendles VC into GAJ as C. Tempted to captain Danger though.
GAJ as capt, probably put the VC on Joelwood , the tough games bring out the best in him, needs to go 150+ though

Just a quick question, can you loophole with a player in your backline ie: gibbs or do the player not playing have to be in the midfield?

After looking at Gazza’s stats last season at the ‘G and how poor Melbourne have been this season, I think I would need 150 as a minimum to keep it, just because the masses will still go with Ablett

Hey,
This is my first time trying out the captain loop hole so I just want to clarify something.
I plan on making Swan my (VC) with, Ablett (C), If Swan goes out and has a smashing game and I want to use the Captain loop hole with Swan in place of Ablett, would this be the correct way to go…
Have Gibbs on ground instead of Stevenson with Stevenson placed as my Emergency. If Swan has a good game switch Gibbs to Captain from Ablett and take the double points from Swan.
I ask because I do not want Stevenson to get the Captains role in place of Gibbs by having Stevenson as my emergency.
In short do I have Stevenson as my Emergency in place of Gibbs or do I just have Gibbs on ground and if I do not wish to initiate the captains loop hole I just cop a zero from Gibbs?? The last thing I want is for Stevenson to take the Captains role I use on Gibbs to get Swans points.

Same as you Duck. C on Ablett at the moment but will be running the VC loophole on Swan if he comes good with a 150+er.

Although sweating on 300 points on the risk of a concussion or a hammy in the first quarter sounds painful.

After watching Dangermouse last week really wanted that one, but just too hard and too close in game time when you are travelling.
Giving serious consideration to giving the VC to GAJ with the potential C going to Andy Walker, considering what Thomas did to the Saints last week Andy could go bang and large under the roof of Ethiad.

VC for Jab. Expect him to come out firing after being shut down by a kid last week and always leads well in big games.
If that doesn’t work out then I could take the safe option and go with Swanny with his last four scores against the Dockers being 147, 126, 133, 167. He was shut down be Creepy for an 89 back in 2008 but I’m pretty sure the sweat-bandit will go to Pendles.
I am really tempted to go with Danger as a POD though. Back in form in a big way last week and the Crows can’t afford to take it easy so he should destroy the Giants.
If I was home and on the ball Saturday night I could see if Crowley starts on Swan and go with Dangermouse. I have better things to be doing though (watching the Hawks get some sweet, sweet revenge) so I will probably just stick with Swanny.
