Got the good, average and ugly of the round, but can’t complain to much, really happy to crack 2300. Had 5/5 league wins, including a top of the table clash in SCT4. Nic Nat will be coming in this week. Hoping to slide up the ranks a bit from my 1481 position.

  2. Finally 2280 and I won all my 5 leagues matches. Dusty and Cachia traded in very happy. Thinking about getting Harvey into my forward line this week.

  3. Knocked off Gus Fring in our SC Draft League and gave Duck a touch up in our cash league. Weekend’s don’t get much better than this.

  4. Scored 2189, copping Gawn’s ugly 18, and also had to replace Stevie J with Neade.
Im not sure what to do with my trades this week, any people worth looking at?

  5. 2241/GAJ.

    5/5 League wins.

Shout out to PK Strikers, whom I scraped over the line in LoeC1 by 4 points.

Birchall and Gawn were super ultra mega duds. Could’ve played Macaffer instead of Gawn but had to seal the teams in before West Coast v North Melbourne.

    Studs:
    Josh P Kennedy 151
    Mitch Robinson 127
    Dayne Zorko 121
    Dean Terlich 110
    Jaeger O’Meara 109
    Jesse Lonergan 105

Everyone else scored between 77 (Brett Goodes) – 118 (Dustin Martin and Brett Deledio).

    The Duds:
    GRANT BIRCHALL 30
    Max Gawn 18.

Thinking I’ll bring Staker in a week early in a double downgrade along with Thurlow to begin a war-chest for bye-round upgrading.

Mayes and Birchall were real let downs – Mayes sub so actually can’t be too annoyed. 9 sub-90 is probably not good enough.

    Trades: Neade/Mayes/Thomas – Buddy

Not sure what to do with the spare cash if thomas is gone for a while.

  7. I was fearing I wouldn’t make 2000, but Sunday provided me with some good scores from Murph, Vlas and Terlich.

Ended with 2119/GAJ, (miraculously won all games) still disappointing, especially with some individual efforts but not entirely demoralising, will get Shaw back next week and hopefully (I mean come on, surely) Gibbs is finally back too so I can slot him right in.

Pretty happy with that score, with Terlich, MJones and Vlastuin bringing it home nicely in the end. Stevenson the only spoiler with a pathetic 40 – butchered the ball. The only league blemish a 6 point loss to PA in the LOEC2 in a nail biter!

Cheers to Terlich, Hanley, Vlastuin, Jobe, JPK, MJones, Priddis (on debut), BJ, Buddy (on debut), Jaegermeister, and Bartel. Jeers to Stevenson, Joelwood, Goldy, Massive, and Rocklift

Stevenson and Heath are on the nose. Might have to carry a tired Monfries for a bit longer. Will look at Thurlow this week, but Jimmy Webster has also just poked his head in the door! Staker will get another run before I trust him!

Pretty happy with the final score considering I was in a bit of trouble with Birch and a few others stinking it up.
4/5 league wins, lost a nail-biter in the SCT alltheway league, which is ranked 64th worldwide! Great effort lads. Also had a nice win against Duck in SCT4 (ranked 100th worldwide).
Gee there is some tough competition this year!

  11. See this is why I like SCT… the people talk and they listen 🙂

2309… Lions won… 4/5 in the leagues though because PA is a freak (of the psychic kind) and should be fined or at least reprimanded for owning flux capacitors, deloreans and the boyish good looks of Michael J. Fox.

Finally hit .500 in the cash league (unsure who Graeme is but definitely landed a couple of blows late to keep it interesting) and Roo Bloke had a ‘mare at a fortunate time which allowed the lowly 17th placed Kelsos to register it’s 2nd win of the season.

Spewing I had Lonergan’s ton on the pine but extremely happy with Terlich and Vlastuin tonning up the second week in a row in the wake of Gibbs’ injury.

Props to Zorko and Sauce hitting form.

GAJ didn’t quite fire late as ~JAEGER and the Man Child dominated the Dogs but I’ll take the many thousands they’ll make me over the coming weeks.

Stevenson is out this week for Thurlow and I might just take a punt on Boomer this week before he skyrockets in exchange for Evans.

Hell… the way my luck is going I might even throw a leg over the missus later!

Oh and well done Mr Staker… I see my well wishes found you in good time 🙂

4/5 in all league’s, beaten by Crawf in one by 38!

Happy with that considering Birch & Heppell under preforming for the week & H Shaw sitting on the pine!

Home Sweet Home Hawks, welcome back to the top of the ladder 🙂

not a huge score, but happy with it knowing that some players could definitely do a lot better. VLASTUIN! JPK and watson the only real standouts.

  17. 2277…had to choose between Kerridge & Dwyer for the last fwd spot. Of course I went Kerrridge. Oh well, at least I had Vlastuin on the ground…& next week will seriously consider fielding Terlich ahead of Hartlett. More points gone begging on the pine.

Had a lot of premiums not crack the ton….Swan, Goldy, Rockcliff, Dangerfield, and out of the ones that did none went overly big….Also Whitfield subbed at half time hurt a little also…..Sitting 1252 overall I think ill drop further from here….Next week welcome Jobe Watson

The team continues its recent purple patch, one agonising point of notching a consecutive 2400+ score. Nonetheless, my lowest score in the last 4 weeks has been 2347!

Consistency was the key this week, with the lowest contributors being Hartlett and Goodes (77 each).

Six premiums dropped scores in the 80s, but were covered by some stunning performances on Sunday afternoon by Ellis (149), Vlastuin (141) and Terlich (110). In fact, 6 of my 7 ‘rookies’ went over 100!

Look forward to seeing where that score will take me from my current position of 207th!

  21. What a rubbish week for my team. 1918, down from 2343 last week.

Let’s look at my non playing bench first – Dixon, Shaw, Gibbs, Stevie J. FFS, that’s a lot of money.

Shockers from – Majak 39 (time to swap Cox back into the rucks), Mayes 25 (probably gone this week), Stevenson 40 (gone this week), Kerridge 22 (hopefully on the bench), Clarke 34 (hopefully on the bench), Kennedy 21 (bench!).

    Disappointing from – Berger 86, Rockliff 81, Swan 84, Selwood 83, Cox 84, B Goodes 77, Danger 89

    Acceptable – Goddard 111, Franklin 107, Ablett 224 C, JJK 91

    Great, Jpk 151, Cotch 119, Jaeger 109, Terlich 110, Vlas 141.

Get off the bench guys. Time to play what you are payed for.

5/5 league wins so cant complain
overall ranking of 6688 might take a hit though
special mentions to smurf, zork, roughy, dwyer and JPK for getting me to something respectable.

and then theres the player on the chopping block
    – birchall (30)- you cant expect to keep on getting raph clarke type scores and keep you spot in 2 and a 1/2 menzel.

the good thing is that the only way is up with heater, gibbs and G.ABLETT to come in next week

  24. 2056. Absolute ball-bags.

Had high hopes this week but Gawn (you bet he is!), Daw and Luke Brown did me in.

Had to sit Thomas and Gibbs on the pine this week as well.
Next week has to be better.

  25. 2173 -GAJ,
It started badly with Cox and LeCras then Rocky and
the burger let me down before my WTF moment when I heard about Stevie J. Hotel Internet crapped out didn’t get the sub on in time…..looks like I just did a Homer the week he comes in! Then Vlas Ellis Terlich come to the rescue. Won my league match somehow still undefeated. Stevenson this week you are gone along with Neade and hello Nic Nat. Special shout out to Motts who suggested in a post a month back B ELLIS you my friend are a genius. Will cop a hit overall ranking wise but still plenty of time to go.

My team is officially in shambles! Among the most serious offenders were Stanton (51), Hartlett (77), Clark (34), Neade and Mayes. Where to go now???

Love all these sites with all the trade talk and discussions. Has turned my SC around thats for sure.

  28. 2212 with Gibbs, Daisy & Maric on the bench (with Daw’s captured 29 & 40 by Stevenson)

    5/5 league wins*

*Still would have been thumped by Allie in SCT girls if I’d had to face her for three weeks in a row (is in two of my leagues)

  29. 2302 for me this week. Gibbs & Sj on the pine were covered by Stevenson & Dwyer so ill take an 80 avg for the 2. Hopefully float around the mark and don’t fall out the top 100.

Double downgrade this week, thy build the war chest up for the byes.

  30. Should I trade Mayes – Naitanui this week or Dwyer – Naitanui in a few weeks when Dwyer is in the high 300k’s?

I will still have Staker on the bench, so that’s solid bench coverage.
    When I have Nic Nat:

FWD: Franklin, Nic Nat, Rockliff, Bartel, JJK, Daisy (Staker, Mayes or Dwyer)

  32. Ended up having to run Stevenson this week because I would’ve had to deal with a goose egg otherwise, so I copped 40 from him and in the 40s with Kommer. Other than that, can’t complain too much, GAJ, Cox and Rocky were a little underwhelming but can’t complain with over 2200.

Only disappointment is that I’ve slipped to 2nd in GWS fans by 2 points…

  33. Just 2112 this week which had Majak and Mayes’ sub effected scores under 30, Justin Clarke’s emergency score covering late out in Newman, 34 and Sam Kerridge’s 22 @F6. Cox, Swan, Rocky and Heppell all below their averages and in the 80s. Considering all of that, solid effort. Had Gaz as captain too where I could’ve gone with Watson.

    This weeks trades I’m planning.

    OUT: Reserves Defender + Mayes
IN : Thurlow + Boomer Harvey

    Staker comes in next week.

    T/UP: Good trades.
    T/DN: Bad trades.

  34. For the first time in my 2 year supercoach career my overall rank is in triple digits 😀 broken into the top 1000 and moved up to 922, also moved to the top of the ladder in my two main leagues (SCT4 and SCT All They Way) pretty happy with that.

  35. Supercoach can really be a bit confusing…

Had a 3 week plan (I know, definitely jinxed myself…) that involved bringing Birchall in this week, though I may have to wait until he finds some form/ bottoms out, and change the order of my planned trade order…

    Week 1: O’Meara -> Watson, Stevenson -> Thurlow

Week 2: JJK -> Nic Nat (Watson should rise more this week), Kerridge -> Staker

    Week 3: Terlich -> Birchall, Daw/Gawn -> Anyone..

Leaves me with 13 trades, a starting rookie in Mid & Def, and possible upgrading of Burger…

    Thoughts?

  36. 2118/GAJ – 5/5 League wins
Gawn to cover Maric was a non event…
Terlich keeping the bench warm…could have used those points
    Kerridge’s 22 was better than Gawns 18….just!

JPK and Vlas were good, glad to welcome Cotch back as well

the E on Dwyer paid off when Stevie J dropped out, the choice of not taking Daisy and holding onto Dwyer is looking better every round..
up to $318k w/ BE of -31 – that cash will come in handy at bye time

Trades – Gawn to Thurlow and Macaffer to Buddy via Rowe and Staker
Really wanted Nic Nat to score a little less…

  38. SMASHED every league
To ashamed to put my score up ok 1891 Gaz
If I was new to SC ok fair enough but I am a veteran of this game.
I really do feel like Melbourne right now had years to pick some of the best players but keep delivering the likes of Tom Scully,Jack Watts and Jack Trengrove.

I am in total despair sitting 17 in the SC Cash Sitting 18 in the LOEC2
Even getting out of Vietnam and drinking in Delanys tonight giving me no relief, but the night is still young
