What a fantastic game. Absolutely loved it even though my Saints got beat. Forwards dominating & going goal for goal in the 4th – what a great advert for the game.

Just want to through some love to Maric…. I dont have him in my team and not a Tiges supporter….. But for whatever reason I always thought he was a massive tool…. Could be the mullet, could be his name… But thought he was a massive knob…… Anyway, I saw him interviewed for the first time at half time and then again after the game, and I retract everything I’ve said/thought in the past…. He seems like a ripping bloke, who is very humble and very aware of where he really sits in the pecking order…. So, well done big fella and great game… I’m impressed all round!

Well, as you know, each game must add up to 3300 in total. This means that some players might gain points at the expense of others depending on the significance of the actions. I heard that a winning goal gets a truckload of points, even though a goal is worth 8 points on the Supercoach table.

I thought of Brad Johnson more as a midfielder. It also states on his wiki page he only played forward pocket when he was “heavily marked or out of play” ie coach is given no other options. Agree he was a great player however. Smiling assasin.

Yesterday afternoon really hurt. REALLY hurt.
No effort from most of the North midfield brigade. Hope Scott comes out and weilds the axe in a fortnight’s time. Way too many passengers not putting pressure o nthe ball carrier and making it far too easy for Buddy to get onto the end of it. I don’t blame the backline, i blame the midfield and it starts from the skipper down. Big issues down at Arden St and i really hope the media turns the pressure on the players and not the coach like typically happens.

RB, if I was a a Roos supporter I’d be ropeable with yesterdays events in Launceston. They have been talking it up for 2 years and to then come up with that rubbish and for Scott to come out and say it was an abberation?? That is not an abberation. There are serious issues down there. Irresepctive of what Scott says, they have been crap for most of this season. I think the coach has to take some of the blame. They are 4-6 and will not make the finals again.

It’s all about what the disposal did. I didn’t watch the game, but Nic Nat’s disposals were probably goal assists, or clearances, or rebound 50′s. All Boyd does is grab the ball and hand it to an outside running player! Nic Nat changes the game – Boyd doesn’t. It is like Cyril Rioli: he is an impact player (like Nic Nat). He gets 10 disposals, but they are all very important to the game!
