  1. In my quest for SC info i often have a quick look at other sites, it is not until you see how many nuff nuff’s get on (and have created) other sites that it reminds you how lucky we are to to have SCT. Maybe less followers on facebook and twitter for SCT, but quality over quantity every time for me!.

Just had Swan and Pendles running around tonight.

The R12 edition of The Fallen Premiums has found it’s first member in JPK, who will be ripe just after his bye.

My side saw the following changes this week, aiming for top 50 at the conclusion of the round:
    OUT: Pittard, Thomas
    IN: Thurlow, Naitanui

Anyone wanna guess who my one player was. Seriously but next year I’m not risking going with a prem mid unless they’ve proven them selves over a couple of seasons.

Not a great start. Stuffed up the captain loophole by reversing trades. Pendle’s 119 is not a disaster though. JPK however was a disaster! Thanks McCafe! 😡

Reckon I am going to go the emg loophole by starting Rowe and with McCafe’s 79 as emg. Just don’t trust Monfries anymore. Might trade him to Staker to prevent any further $$ leakage.

  6. 530/4/Pendles as VC.

Still could have as C – Riewoldt (N), Franklin, Cox, Hanley, Watson, Delidio or Martin.

    NFI as usual.

Thanks Goodes for the 169 pts.I had almost lost patience with you.

  7. 293 / 4 (Pendles 119 as VC, GAJ hopefully > 120?)

Not a great start with Pendles doing his job, but Swan & JP Kenn (on debut!) spudding it. Dwyer is excused after recent form & half expected lower score after McVeigh’s comment on thurs that they had plans to quell him & other young smalls). Gut said Wines to PJ Kenn & backed him over Watson, Selwood or Murphy (hope the decision is only going to give short term pain!)

  8. Mcaffer’s 79 as Emergency & have Rowe to do emerg loophole if i want. Hoping Buddy, Bartel, JP Kennedy, Rockliff & Robbie Gray all score > 79. Robbie Gray v Cats would be main candidate to bench for the 79 if i did do it. What does the SCT community think?

Thumbs UP: Roll dice & leave as is, all 80+ candidates
Thumbs DOWN: Bench Robbie Gray & take Mcaffers 79

  9. Hey guys. What use think of using the emerg loophole? Bring in macaffers off the bench with 79? Or risk what Sam Mayes will score? Please help me out thanks

  10. 350/4/VC Shuey, C Gaz.

Hannebery solid again along with Pendles. Damn you Swan! Dwyer on the park instead of Macaffer and Mayes.

What does everyone think about Boomer? I’m thinking of ditching Monfries before today’s game.

    TU Nic Nat
TD Boomer + lots of cash leftover

  11. 254/3/Gaz (with Cox as VC)

Pendles did his job, Macaffer did nicely, but JPK spudded it up.
Hopefully Cox doesnt get rested and anything above 140 and im going with the big fella.

  12. 516/5/GAJ.

Only premiums played so far. Getting back on track after JPK’s disastrous Friday night score.

Hoping Birchall can turn his form around or else I may go off the rails.

Got Goodes, Terlich, O’Meara and Lonergan as my rookies playing. Think I should get 300 points from the 4 of them.

premiums covered up thurlow’s 30 nicely, also nice to see Gibbs isn’t the sub, but still might end up in the red vest, hopefully not though.

Happy considering poor scores from Swan, Dwyer and Thurlow.

Gibbs, Heppell, Goddard, Vlastuin and Rockliff tonight, so hoping for some big scores from that lot

Took Priddis over NicNat as VC….Dumbass choice!
Only 3 scores under 100 – JPK, Thurlow and B.Goodes
Happy so far, Projected over 2400, fingers crossed

My Big Cats had terribly off days, with none of Deledio, Leuenberger, Martin, Rockliff or Zorko managing to crack three figures.

But the Blues and Bombers made up for their shortcomings. Bryce Gibbs was back to his old tricks in defense with 109, and Mitch Robinson chimed in with 122, proving himself to be (barring one terrible game v St Kilda) an astute trade in so far. Dyson Heppell and Brendon Goddard were thereabouts with 94 and 104 respectively, but the biggest cheers have to go to their captain, Jobe Watson who pumped out 166 in his debut in Reality Warping.

Back on track! And I feel so much safer with the little master having joined the team earlier today 😀 Yes, I caved 😳 I informed Thurlow that after a difficult decision, his application had been denied, and traded Monfries >> Staker, then swapped Gibbs into defence and traded Stevenson >> GAJ.

Goldy, Mundee, Twirley, Buddy, GAJ and Jaegermeister to play tomorrow.

  18. 1556 / GAJ (17 played including Blikvas’s Emerg Loophole)

    Buddy, L.Brown, Danger, O’Meara & GAJ (C).

Really need GAJ to go huge i.e. 170 x 2 to win majority of league games.

Fishmiers clearly leading at the last bend in the cash league. Will be left with FISH: 288 lead + Goldy v ME: Luke Brown & GAJ (C). Best i can hope for is Goldy scoring a 100 for him, Luke Brown 60 for me with GAJ as C having to get 328 (164 x 2).

Thumbs UP: GAJ is going to score 165 + v Hawks
    Thumbs DOWN: Forget about it…

  19. 1576/15/NicNat

Locking in NicNat’s 148 as captain.

Brandon Ellis was a late withdrawal from my side after he just wasn’t able to get up from a case of leather poisoning last Sunday afternoon. Fortunately, I have Terlich as emergency.

Thurlow (31) was far from impressive on debut and will no doubt be playing Centre Half Bench next week.

Was at the Dreamtime game tonight and was surprised at Dusty Martin’s score of 79. He looked a much better player than that.

All good things must come to an end and it looks as if my recent form may be following suit.

Still have GAJ, Goldstein, Franklin, Dangerfield, O’Meara, Terlich & Lonergan to come tomorrow.

Looking at a score of around 2250-2300, which you’d think would be around par.

  22. Struggling this week and really concerned about the JS of new recruits Thurlow and Webster. Add to that injuries to JJK and Leuy and I feel I am a boy with his finger in the dyke. Next week I need more from Maric, Zorko and Rocky just to name three.

  23. 1834/18/Gaj – Very happy so far, only let downs JPK and Rockcliff, should be able to get close to 2400 if gaj goes well. Also black, omeara and birchall to come. Used blicavs 100 and put Jacobs on the bench, gotta pull out all the tricks playing top of the SCT1 league

  24. 1530/16/GAJ

Not a good week. JPK, Rockliff, Moloney, Dusty and Berger all scored below par. Can anyone inform me on Berger’s injury? How long will he be out for?

I’ve got GAJ (c), Franklin, Birchall, Mick Jagger, Sammy Jacobs and Terlich to come. Hoping for 2150-2200!

  25. 1724 / 18 / Stevie J (vc)

To come: GAJ, Buddy, Fyfe, Terlich

    Lots of loophole action:
    * Taking Macaffer’s fwd emergency score so Rowe onto the field.
    * Taking Blicavs’ mid emergency score so Viney onto the field and Jaeger gets a rest.
    * Taking Stevie J’s VC score so Rowe’s getting the captaincy.

Happy if GAJ scores a 100 even this week as most of my league opponents have GAJ as skipper.

Really disapppointed that i traded JPK over Watson. Right now that looks a terrible trade!! Plus picking Swan over Pendles at the start of the year is also killing me. I’ve got two more midfield spots and i will be moving heaven and earth over the next month to get Pendles and Watson!!!!

JPK, Rockliff, Thurlow, Swan, Selwood, Leunburger, Dwyer. I all expect abit more from you guys.
So far 8 players have gotten over 100 (Including Jelwood as captain)
So far 10 players have gotten under 100.

Ranked 2,634 overall. I think im going to drop to about 5,000.

  27. Absolute shocker this week.18/1675/Gaz

Gaz, Buddy, Birch & Terlich to come will be lucky to crack 2200.

Swan, JPK, Thurlow, Walker, Rockliff, Berger & Martin all well down. Need Birch & Buddy to do something special to get a decent score.

  30. Another shocker of a week, I’m 1564/17/GAJ

Had Thurlow in the starting squad and also have JPK and Swan with disappointing scores. When compared with other premiums like Watson and Stevie J, I’m losing a LOT of points off the back of those two. Even if GAJ goes large, I’m thinking my spot in the Top 500 is as good as gone.

GAJ (C), Jaeger, Buddy, Terlich and Jacobs yet to play. 2200 would be lovely, but I’m looking at the 2100’s

I have used the emergency loophole in my fwd (Mcaffer 79 v Mayes 47), ruck (Blivcas 100 v Jacobs) and mid (Cachia 87 v Omera), it’s keeping me in my money league match. JPK and Swan has really hurt.

Watson in for Jones really happy with.

  32. Just looking at the top ranked SuperCoach team….he’s gonna have an absolute shocker! Shaw, Birchall & Ellis in def, Swan & JPK in the mids, & generally sub par forwards all round this week = hope for us all…..unless you’ve got all those players too….
