  1. Downgarded Martin to Rohan. Now have 175K in the kitty and am thinking of getting Henry Playfair, Brennan stack or Watts to sit on the pine in my forward line – I’ve got Taylor and Weedon atm and have payed one man down twice in 3 weeks due to injuries to both these guys.

Any advice on the 3 possibe inclusions?

        1. Had the same question marks over him. He did score 69 and is only 107K, hence his inclusion on my list.

          1. Have a look at him this week but you have to figure there is a good reason he cant get in the best 22. Even if he strings a few together he would be knife edged for being dropped each week and that would concern me.

  2. Silvagni or Ladson to Webberly or Roberton then:
Martin to Swan / NDS / Murphy / Cross / Bartel

Thoughts? It’s doing my head in!!

    1. Ladson to Webberly/Robertson, Ladson is out of favor at the hawks played in the 2nds last week and was crap to say the less he won’t be back for a while IMO.

      1. I’m looking at a very similar thing Swiper.
        Thinking:
        Nason to Webberley
Martin to Swan / NDS / Murphy / Cross / Bartel etc or maybe Montagna or Hayes or Mitchell…… tough decision.

  3. At this stage Out Gumbleton for Watts and Upgrade Ballantyne to Didak.

A lot depends on what happens with J Brown. If he is out for weeks then things change. Hopefully he plays.

    1. Cheap but risky. At least he’s playing in a good and should play every game. Downside is there’s many taking points off him and he’s not playing well.

    1. Nothing yet. He is going to see a specialist whilst he is Adelaide about his groin. If it comes up ok he is ok, if not he may have a rest. Fev is also tagging along. The guy in Adelaide is apperently pretty good with groins.

  5. Thinking it’s time to trade J Gram(mid) but not sure whether to trade him as a defender or mid. Have 13 trades and $3900 in the kitty

Option 1 would be to swap him L Hodge(def) To do this i’d need to trade say Silvagni for Roberton or Sheppard and then Gram for say Hurn.

Option 2 would be to leave Hodge as a def and trade say Silvagni for Roberton or Sheppard an then Gram for a premium mid such as Mitchell Bartel etc …

    Thoughts?

  6. team mkI – gram and tippett out for sandilands and a rookie (perhaps roberton if he plays)

team mkII – murphy and gumbleton for higgins and a rookie

rookies depend on who is playing, of course.

  7. apologies for the long read but i need help…

    firstly…
I want to get carrazo for waters this week but have no money in the kitty
I need to make about a hundred grand or so to do the trade, my options are
    Nason to sheppard/roberton
    or
warnock to skipper which will give me ruck cover that i currently dont have
    which one would be best?
however my other problem is i am keen to get rid of ballantyne asap and i wont settle for anyone less then pav in my last forward position. (pods as F7)
to do this i need around two hundred grand.
The only way to get that money in the near future would be to downgrade maguire (current D7)
so the next wuestion would be does anyone think sheppard will be good enought to hold down D7 for most of the year with webberly as back up untill i can make the pre final luxury trade.
    cheers

    1. Have to see if Shep gets named this week first. Given the way the Eagles are travelling you would like to think that he could hold a position in the 22.

  8. These are my options:

    OUT: Ziebell, IN: Pavlich

    orrrrrrrrrrrrrr….

    OUT: Sylvia, IN: Chappy

    Thoughts?

    1. Probably Pav, he is a bit cheaper and is more durable. As good as Chappy is going he has a history of missing a few games in the second half of the season.

      1. Yes he does but the average is almost worth batting off over. I would take Chappy if I had the change in the bank along with a few extra trades up my sleeve. Short term benefit could far outweigh the loss of an additional trade in round 16.

      2. I’d go Chappy. Yep, Chap can get injured, but so can Pav. Also, Pav does have a tendancy to have 1 or 2 off games.

  9. hey guys not sure wat to do, should i drop seaby an warnok in the ruck for sandi n roughead, or cox n roughead n save the extra cash n spend it in the forward line later. atm i got nic nat, seaby, warnk and stanly in the ruck and i got chappy, rok, brown, hall, pods, betts, fyfe and hitchcok n rohan on the pine in the fwd line

  10. well the trades im gonna do this week will be, rockcliff to hughes .
then upgrading hall to higgins, and leave me with 40 g in the bank.

  11. Probably trade out Gram for NDS this week. My only concern is Gram’s a DPP (D/M) so do I leave him in the backline and trade him for a Back i.e Enright that way I still have Hodgey and Godds to switch around with or just forget about the DPP option and go for the best player available.

  12. i have gram but it looks like he will be out for a couple and i have been looking to trade him so now is the time. I was thinking of a 2 way trade but over 2 weeks. This week i was thinking of down grading him to 1 of simon White or Phil Davis and bring Silvagni on the feild then i would have around 280k left then next week i want to upgrade Ziebell or Martin i was goign with Ziebell more, Then i would have around 580k but i dont wanna use it all so i want some one around 550k but there is so many good players. if any one can suggest who to get it would be great thanks.

    1. If you’re going to downgrade Gram, go to Roberton or Webberley if named… That will save you a lot of cash, giving you ~$120,000 more to use on a top line mid.. Dane Swan.

  13. Does anyone think houla is gonna miss this week??
And I’ll probs downgrade gram to davis/hams cuz of the 1 month injury.

  14. I’ve got Martin and Trengrove sitting on the bench. In my mind, have two players over $300k sitting on the bench is a waste, therefore looking to trade down to the sydney rohan. Works especially nice as Rohan is forward/midfield and I have Harvey and ROK in forward line, and I can finally make some use of the dual posy player.

Also, the extra cash can bring in big Coxy!

But who to choose. Trengrove has gone down in value, but Martin may have peaked also. I think Trengrove may play in more winning games so am leaning towards him

    Thoughts?

  15. need some help guys this week im thinking of trading down either trengrove or martin down to an 83k mid to free up some cash and then upgrading syliva to the super pav
which mid would be the best to down grade. ?
i have bastinac on my bench as injury cover just in case.

    1. Martin BE = 72. Martin Avg = 72. Next opponent: Dons at MCG
Trengove BE = 85. Trengove Avg = 72.88. Next opponent: Port in Darwin

Based on that quick analysis, I’d ditch Trengove this week.

super pav would be the best option in the forward line
consisting of ROK higgins BBBB riolio JZ hitchcock syliva

  19. I’m looking at Martin to T. Armstrong, then upgrading Murphy to Didak. Or, Martin to Rohan and then Murphy to Shannon Byrnes. Either way, I think it’s time for Murphy to go, and Martin is the only way to get the cash together to make the trade worthwhile…

  20. I was gunna unload Ladson, but have to get rid of McPharlin now, also have copped a couple of donuts already from H-Mac, as Warnock and Lobbe haven’t been playing. Whats the word on H-mac, should I bring in Cox, or just sit on H-mac. My opposition this week is weak as piss, so can probably afford another donut, and I haven’t lost a game yet.

Backline is- Goddard, Hodge, Enright, Kennelly (keeper?), Waters, McPharlin, Ladson (Silvagni, Trengrove). $254,700 in bank, 14 trades left. I’m thinking of bringing in Duffman or Carrazzo, any other ideas?
