Im not sure about the emergencies for the backs quite yet, will wait for the round 1 teams. I am playing Ladson as a midfileder so if he makes me money i can upgrade him to a midfielder once he makes me money rather than getting a weak defender. Plus i can shift him, hodge, gilbee, and goddard around if i need to. Im not going to bother with rucks, because they dont score that well. thanks for the comments motts. What has Polak done to convince you he's going to average more than 43.5? And I was happy to see the disclaimer re R1 teams because I don't think Gumby is going to make it. Even if he does, he's too much of a risk IMO. As good as I’ve seen Brad:

Hurn I like, Thompson I don't think will average much more than the 80 he got last year. Silvagni won't play so put Maguire on the bench for him and pick someone else on field (not a first year player). Mids - I swapped out Palmer for McVeigh when he got injured again recently. I'd put one of either Dangerfield or Ziebell in your forward line to take advantage of the new DPP rule. Bring a specialist midfielder in - the midfield is where you can safely use a first year player because they can still score reasonably heavily. Rucks - Charman scares the bejesus out of me. Why risk it? Forwards - Keep the first year players on the bench here and you'll be fine. Bring one of Dangers or Ziebell down and choose two of Rohan, Rockliff and Pods. Other than that all good. Medders is value for money. JR won't take Richo's mantle but is looking better and better. Rohan should get played but keep an eye out for R1 teams.
