Rate My Team – Rd6

Written by Schwarzwalder on May 1 2017

Many Coaches had a rough time of it on the weekend, struggling to crack 1900.  Have we gone off the rails or was it just ‘one of those Rounds’.  In any case, it can’t hurt to get your line-up rated by the SCT Coaches.

Please include the following:

* Team line-up

* # of Trades Left (be honest) 😉

* Cash In The Bank &

* Any Trade Plans you may have in the lead-up to the Bye Rounds.

Take a look at the other teams here, don’t be afraid to leave some constructive criticism for your fellow Coaches either……….

  1. Here’s my ok-ish team:

DEF: Docherty, Laird, Shaw, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Rockliff, Dangerfield, Martin, Fyfe, J.P. Kennedy, Treloar, Hannebery, Powell-Pepper (Pickett, Barrett, Fisher)

    RUCK: Sandilands, Witts (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlahus, J.J. Kennedy, Nankervis, Hoskin-Elliot, Houston, Taranto (Butler, Eddy)

    23 Trades left

    5.8k in the bank

No plans for any trades this week, if I do any trades it’ll either to get Buddy or Yeo in, or downgrading Pickett/Eddy/both.

I’m open to suggestions for trades too! If anyway has any ideas make sure to let me know 🙂

    1. I was thinking you could make a downgrade this week as a bunch of rookies are on the bubble in defence and potentially try and upgrade a forward to help cover Nankervis with his 1 match ban.
If not a downgrade could be helpful for money in the future

  2. DEF: Laird, Adams, JJ, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Dangerfield, Pendels, Selwood, Murphy, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar, Fisher (Pickett, Barrett,Hibberd)

    RUCK: Grundy, Sandilands (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlahus, Macrae, Nankervis, Butler, Houston, Balic (Partiff, Eddy)

    21 Trades left

    327k in the bank

Probably going to do Partiff to Dusty/Roo depending on the teams on Thursday. Holding rooks another week

    1. Parfitt to a premium forward looks like the best option or you will most likely suffer a doughnut in the forward line. Don’t know who for but a fwd is looking pivotal

  3. def: Laird, Shaw, Howe, Marchbank, Otten, Newman (Stewart, Williamson)
Mid: Danger, Pendles, Fyfe, Titch, Selwood, Beams, hanners, Steele (SPP, Fisher, Barrett)
    Ruck: Martin, Sandy (Strnadica)
Fwd: Dahl, Nank, Buddy, WHE, Houston, Butler (Parfitt, Balic)
23 trades left (before trades this week)
    $80k in bank

Main upgrade targets are Doch and Taylor adams (adams after rd 13 bye as I am stacked with prem def with same bye) in def and T Lynch and macrae in Fwd line (Lynch after rd 9, macrae after rd 11).

Thinking of bring doch in this week but that means I have to go early on Otten. I could go Simpson, Yeo or JJK and keep otten but i am not sold on any of them.

      1. That was my initial plan but Im just not sure whether simpson is in my top 6 at end of year. Whereas I know doch will be.

    1. Might be good to switch steele into the forward line to help cover Nankervis and loophole a rookies in the midfield and fwd line to get the most this week or you run WHE and 3 rookies in the forward line and that is quite thin to me

  4. DEF: Docherty, Laird, Lloyd, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Dangerfield, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, Beams, Treloar, Heppell, Powell-Pepper, Taranto (Fisher, Barrett, Florent)

    RUCK: Sandilands, Grundy (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlahus, T Lynch, Steele, Macrae, Houston, Franklin (Bowes, Eddy)

    25 Trades left

    47k in the bank

    TU: Beams to Pendles
    TD: Otten to M Hibberd

    Or any other suggestions

    1. Maybe even an attempt to do 1 downgrade in the defence and 1 upgrade on a midfielder won’t hurt

  5. My team currently ranked 7729 after a shaky start

DEF: Docherty Adams Laird Mcgrath Otten Newman (Hampton Stewart)

MID: Jelwood Fyfe T. Mitchell Heppell Treloar Yeo Beams SPP (Barrett Parfitt Fisher)

    RUC: Goldy Sandi (preuss)

FWD: Dahlhaus JJK Greene Roughy Houston Butler (Balic T. Smith)

    22 trades left
    77.7k in the bank

Feeling parfitt goes this week and Hampton gets upgraded to either Hibberd or Shaw. Leaning towards Hibberd because of the byes and price.
Wanting to get rid of roughy and Goldy but too much of a struggle so far.

    1. If it’s between Shaw & Hibberd then I’d go with Shaw. Got more runs on the board……

      1. See I was preferring shaw but the bye rounds just become harder I think which makes it a tough call

        1. Ultimately up to you (and I’m not travelling too well at the minute), I just don’t see Hibberd as a Top6 DEF. No way he’ll hold that current avg. Still room for improvement with Shaw

          1. The more I watch this season the more I’m not keen on Shaw and would start to opt for Hibberd at that price. Think they could very well average similar.

Shaw use to demand the ball and get lots of cheap possessions but the players are starting to trust themselves more now and relying on him less. He still demands it from what I can see but they no longer give it to him as much unless there is no other option.

Hibberd has started well but has faded in both games. He will take some time to get really going but could very well be worth $402k – an average of 95 and it’ll be a win.

I’m not getting him, have 3 spots left and need Adams, want Rance (bye structure) and probably Pittard for the bye structure as well given I’m kinda screwed, but is certainly not a bad option for the price tag, especially in a year where we look short on funds.

    2. I rate that 0/10 ;), nah jks good team haha, you might be able to wait for shaw next week and get cover for your forward line since greene is out and t smith will likely be out, and parfitt out is an obvious one lol

  6. Def: Laird, Adams, Shaw, Hampton, Newman, Williamson, Stewart, Hibberd

Mid: Jelwood, Fyfe, Titchell, Treloar, Hannebry, Beams, Powell-Pepper, Parfitt, Pickett, Fisher, Fox

    Ruck: Nank, Sandi, Strndica

Fwd: Dahl, Roo, Yeo, Franklin, Steele, Houston, Butler, Eddy

    21 trades left $397k

Initial plan this week is to get hibberd and Martin through hampton and Powell Pepper ($2k short off parfitt to martin) 🙁

However no rookies to go up and down and get danger the week after!! Not sure what to do.

    1. Nankervis has really cause some trouble this week so maybe you trade out parfitt and put steele in the mid switch nank to the fwd line and bring in a ruck because you don’t want to suffer a doughnut

  7. DEF: Laird, Adams, JJ, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Bont, Pendles, Fyfe, Beams, Neale, Shiel, Powell-Pepper, JOM (Fisher, Barrett, Florent)

    RUCK: Martin, Sandilands (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlhaus, Nankervis, Steele, Macrae, WHE, Parfiit (Balic, Eddy)

26 Trades left – $280k in the bank

Thinking about an upgrade this week but worried about my bye structure with many players playing in R11 and R13. Was thinking of going Hampton to H.Shaw or Parfiit to Franklin

    T/U Double Upgrade
T/D Single Upgrade and go Parfiit to Black/Parsons

    1. Done well to have 26 trades left and cash to spare. With some half decent downgrade options, I’d advise to go 1up/1down this week. Could still go with double upgrade next week?

  8. DEF: R.Laird, J.Howe, H.Shaw, A. Otten, N.Newman (C.Hampton, T.Stewart)

    MID: S.Pendlebury, J.Selwood, T.Mitchell, N.Fyfe, D.Beams, S.Powell-Pepper, D.Swallow, J.O’Meara (J.Pickett, J.Barrett, Z.Fisher)

    RUC: A.Sandilands, J.Witts (L.Strnadica)

    FWD: L.Dahlhaus, T.Nankervis, J.Macrae, N.Riewoldt, D.Butler, H.Balic (B.Parfitt, B.Eddy)

    26 Trades Left

    $452,700 Remaining Salary

TU: Double Upgrade Mids (Swallow & JOM > Grey & Hanners)
    TD: Double Downgrade Donuts
    Comment: Upgrade & Downgrade trade…

    1. I think you are missing a defender and the midfield is looking weak so you definitely have to upgrade at least 1 this week

  9. Def: Laird, Howe, Shaw, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)
Mid: Danger, JPK, Titch, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, SPP, Balic (Parfitt, Barrett, Fisher)
    Ruck: Martin, Sandi (Preuss)
Fwd: Dahl, Macrae, Nank, Steele, WHE, Houston (Butler, Eddy)

310k itb with 23 trades left.
thinking 1 up 1 down Marchbank > EVW and Parfitt > Buddy via DPP
Or i can go double up with Marhcbank and Parfitt > Buddy and Hibberd but I’m not sold on him yet as I haven’t watched any Melbourne games recently.

    1. If you’re keen on Buddy then go for it. Still enough cash to upgrade again next week and get closer to full premo…..

        1. Trying to get at least one on each line by the byes, plus a Port/GC player here and there should put you in good stead and you can trade around it when the byes come around.

          This is my plan anyway.

  10. I have no idea what to do in regards to my trades this week. JOM B/E of 104 is worrying.

DEF: Laird, Adams, Shaw, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton (Stewart, Newman)
MIDS: Danger, Pendles, Heppell, Fyfe, J.Kennedy, Beams, SPP, JOM (Barrett, Balic, Fisher)
FWDS: Dalh, Nankervis, Franklin, WHE, Roughead, Parfitt (Butler, Eddy)

  11. DEF-
Doc, Laird, Shaw,Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

    Mid –
Sloane, Danger,Fyfe, J Kennedy, J Kelly, Beams, Treloar, Steele (Balic, Barret, Fisher)

    Ruc –
    Martin, Sandi (Strndica)

Dalh, Nank, WHE,Butler, Houston, Hardwick (Eddy, Hannan)

3.8k Overall, 22 Trades in the bank, 260k ITB.

Thinking i just do Butler -> Macrae this week, leaves me with $0 ITB and boosts my FWDs

  12. 26 Trades left

    $199, 700 remaining.

DEF: Laird, Adams, Shaw, Hampton, Stewart, Newman, (Berry, Hibberd)

MID: Bontempelli, Pendlebury, Dangerfield, Zorko, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, Powell-Pepper, (Florent, Barrett, Fisher)

    RUC: Sandilands, Witts, (Cameron)

FWD: Dahlhaus, JJ Kennedy, Nankervis, Macrae, Parfitt, Balic, (Pickett, Eddy)

My trades will be dependent on rookie selections. Hopefully, if none of Florent/Pickett/Eddy/Cameron get a call up, both Black and Parsons will play, as I intend to do a double downgrade and I might need to do both up forward if selections aren’t kind to me. If they are, I will consider some one in defence opening up a MID/DEF link.

Fisher and Parfitt seem the logical players to make an exit.

    1. Do you mean Florent and Parfitt? I wouldn’t trade Fisher now. He’s a long term hold / backup type until he’s made some cash.

      1. I was under the impression that Fisher would be out for 5 or 6 weeks, so my trading of him was based on that.

    2. Fisher has “Hamstring Tightness” according to the latest press release.

If he misses, hopefully it’s only for a week to give him rest.

  13. Will rock this line up this week (* Teams Pending *)

DEF: Adams, Docherty, Laird, Howe, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)
MID: Dangerfield, Bontempelli, Pendlebury, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, Powell-Pepper (Balic, Fisher, Pickett)
    RUC: Sandilands, Witts (Strnadica)
FWD: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nankervis (suspended), Franklin, Steele, Butler (Eddy, Parsons)

Need to balance my byes so will look at the likes of J.Selwood, Lynch (GC), Rance and Pittard to round out my players. Should have 3 in the next 3 rounds and will just have M8 to fill before luxury upgrading Witts/Beams

      1. He’s on the block for Mumma’s Bois this week that’s for sure. If it means I can get Adams ASAP, it’s a trigger I am happy to pull and the only player that I would move him on for this week. It’s either Adams/Marchbank or Rance/Otten in my backline this week so lots of thinking to come. I’m happy with what he’s made and the others are still tracking along nicely in the mean time.

Trying to go full premo quickly bit me in the backside this round so will be treading waters more carefully this week.

    1. Solid team! Better hope Parsons or Eddy gets the call up this week because you will have to some shifting to do to cover that doughnut otherwise

      1. This is post trades. There’s always Black or worst case, double down this week and I’ll be one week behind current plans and bring in 2 premos next week.

  14. DEF: Laird, Shaw, Lloyd, Hibberd*, Adams, Otten (Newman, Hibberd)
MID: Pendles, Danger, Bont, Beams, Treloar, Fyfe, SPP, Taranto (Fisher, Pickett, Barrett)
    RUC: Martin, Sandi (Strna)
FWD: Macrae, Dahl, Buddy, Nank, Butler, Balic (Eddy, Black*)

20 trades left, but the * indicates who I am planning on bringing in this week with…

    Hampton -> Hibberd
    Houston -> Black

being the trades that I am looking at.

In the future would like to bring in Doch for either Newman or Otten. With maybe Yeo or Tex coming in for Butler.

  15. DEF: Laird, Shaw, Adams, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton (Newman, Stewart)
MID: Sloane, Danger, Selwood, Dusty, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, SPP (Parfitt, Pickett, Barrett)
    RUC: Sandi, Witts (Strna)
FWD: Yeo, Dahl, Nank, Steele, Buddy, Butler (Eddy, Balic)

Apart from my atrocious score over the weekend I’m still reasonably happy with this team.
Ranked just in the top 500. 24 trades remaining and $2000 in the bank
Looking at another 1 up 1 down to upgrade. Happy to take advice, with what I should do next

  16. Hi Cambeat10

With no real Mid downgrade options this week it makes things tricky.

Also Nank missing means you will have no forward cover if Eddy is not named.

I traded Marchbank last week. He is probably the ripest of your Def cows.

You could Downgrade him. There is a few options on the bubble.

Butler. B/E 47. Could be a upgrade target but will leave you with no forward cover.

Personally I would be moving on Eddy for Parsons to generate some $.

    Congrats on your ranking.

    I’m up from 35k to 4737 in 3 weeks.

Sitting about 265 ahead in my R 128 SCT CUP match.

    Quite rarified air for me.

Best of luck for the rest of your year.

  17. Def: Laird, Adams, Shaw, Otten, Hampton, Newman (Vickers-Willis)

Mid: Bontempelli, Pendlebury, Rockcliff, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Hannebery, Beams, Powell-Pepper (Fisher, Parfitt, Barrett)

    Rucks: Sandilands, Preuss (Strandica)

Fwds: Dahlhaus, Nankveris, MAcrae, Steele, Butler, Balic (Black, Eddy)

22 Trades Left, 350k in bank

    1. If Preuss doesn’t play this week I’d go straight to best available Ruckman with $$ in the bank. If he plays then I’d upgrade Butler or Hampton to premo keeper……

  18. Hey guys, rate a bro out? This year goal is Overall rank in the top 10k

Def: Shaw, Simpson, Rance, Otten, Hampton, Newman (Marchbank, Stewart)

Mid: Bontempelli, Pendlebury, Rockcliff, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Ward, Beams, Powell-Pepper (Fisher, Petrovski-Seton, Barrett)

    Rucks: Sandilands, Nankervis (Preuss)

Fwds: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Yeo, Butler, Houston, Hannan (Eddy, Pickett)

23 Trades Left, 3k in bank

My plan is: Pretrovski-Seton/Marchbank out for Parsons/McNiece (via Pickett) as pretty much all other rookies will still make BE or haven’t matured, *and* there are no great bubble mids. Would leave 411k in the bank
    Hopefully Preuss gets named too

PS – I know Pickett has to go

    1. Very tricky until we know if Preuss is playing or not. If not, you’d probably have to go early on Otten to go straight to premo Ruck

  19. DEF: Docherty, Laird, Adams, Lloyd, Newman, Hampton (Stewart, Williamson)

MID: Danger, Jelwood, Bont, Pendles, Kennedy, Hannes, Treloar, Fyfe (Pickett, Barrett, Hibberd)

    RUCK: Nank, Sandi (Preuss)

FWD: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Butler, Houston, Parsons, Balic (Long, Eddy)

    40k in bank
    22 trades left
Going mad with trades but 1 up 1 down each week should get me full premo soon enough. Fwd line is weak but was always going to be last line complete.
    Thoughts community? Much appreciated.

    1. You’ll want to hope that Parsons or Eddy get a recall…..and especially Preuss. MIDs are set obviously but your next move is dependant on team selections……

    1. Dusty can wait, BE 131 with 3 scores under 100 in a row.

Watch for the turn in form + a lower breakeven and then he will be ripe for the picking!

  20. DEF: Docherty, Laird, Howe, Marchbank, Newman, Otten (Stewart, Hampton)

MID: Danger, T Mitch, Fyfe, Kennedy, Treloar, Fyfe, Steele, JOM (Fisher, Barrett, Florent)

    RUCK: Witts Sandi (Strandica)

FWD: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nank, Franklin, WHE, Butler, (Picket, Eddy)

    $93 in bank
    27 trades

Thinking Marchbank to EVW, and then JOM to pendels.. leaves 30k odd

Was in top 500, now just outside 1000

    1. Two Fyfe’s, Nice! The quicker you can get JOM out, there better.

Holding for two weeks and giving him one more short was ok, but he was meant to be a stepping stone to a premo at the byes, looks a long way off that now after this round.

        1. Pendles all day, every day. The quicker you can get him in, the better.

Rd4 score was once in a blue moon kinda thing – His first sub 80 game since Rd3, 2012.. that’s very, very consistent.

Hibberd does look good though, but I’d want to see more for longer. His best two seasons are 95.9 (2013) and 91.4 (2014) and 95 will be a bare minimum this year given the scores that are being put up. Has faded the last two weeks, but seems to be playing a SC friendly role.

  21. Post Trades (Hampton – Mcneise / EVW) (JOM – Bont)

Def- Adams, laird, Dochertym Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Stewart, Mcneise)

Mid- Danger, Selwood, Fyfe, Bont, JPK, Treloar, Beams, Powell Pepper (Parfitt-Barret, Fisher)

    Ruck- Stef Martin, Sandi (strnica)

FWD- Dahl, Macrae, Nank, WHE, Housten, Butler (balic, eddy)

147k in the bank and ranked 7,500th after dropping from 2800th after a shocking week but hoping to bounce back. Parfitt, Housten, Marchbank, Butler all nearly on the chopping block in upcoming weeks

  22. Def: R Laird, K Simpson, H Shaw, S Burgoyne, A Otten, C Hampton, (N Newman, T Stewart)
    Mid: P Dangerfield, S Pendlebury, J Selwood, J Kennedy, N Fyfe, M Priddis, S Powell-Pepper, H Balic, (J Barrett, Z Fisher, J Pickett)
    Ruck: A Sandilands, T Goldstein, (J Witts)
    Fwd: L Franklin, J Steele, W Hoskin-Elliot, C McCarthy, D Butler, T Taranto, (K Turner, B Eddy)

    Remaining trades: 23
    Remaining salary: 15,100
    Current team value: 11,306,700
    Current rank: 75,827

Off to a slow start due to surprising underperformances by the majority of the starting premiums but the rank should increase dramatically between now and the end of the byes. No trades currently planned for this week but the only idea I’m entertaining is Out: McCarthy and Otten, In: A Black/J Parsons and S Docherty. Also unsure whether to keep Witts through the byes or trade him at Rd9.

    Upgrade targets:
    S Docherty, L Montagna.
T Adams (D7 to be loopholed later in the year with Burgoyne, etc or moved to M9 via dpp and looped with M8).

1 of Rockliff or Bontempelli to join the side after their RD 11 bye.
1 of Sloane, Ablett, Hannebery or Bont/Rockliff around RD 13/ after byes.

Will not change unless one is injured for several weeks.

Ideally both Dahlhaus and Macrae after their bye.
    J Kennedy and a ruck/fwd swing.

    1. This is the toughest one on the whole page 😉
I can understand your reasoning with most of the team during pre-season, I know you did your homework (more than most). Your options seem limited at this stage though.
McCarthy, WHE, Taranto & SPP all have a low BE. I know it must be frustrating (I’m only battling at 40K right now as well) but with that team, I’d downgrade one of Butler/Turner to Parsons (if named) this week and maybe re-assess again next week.
You might have to risk everything soon and trade Witts to Strnadica (big cash pile) and upgrade one of your forward cows to Nank (when he’s back) or take a chance on Ryder and hope for the best.
      Good luck, Champ!

  23. Currently sat in position 9595, and have a 210 point lead in my cup match, mainly due to my opposition’s bad luck last week.

    Def : T Adams, Z Tuohy, Z Jones, A. Otten, C Marchbank, N Newman
    ( C Hampton, T Stewart )

    Mid : P Dangerfield, C Oliver, T Mitchell, N Fife, A Treloar, D Beams, J Steele, D Swallow
    ( S Powell-Pepper, T Taranto, Z Fisher

    Ruck : A Sandilands, P Ryder ( J Spencer)

    Fwd : L Dahlhaus, J Kennedy, W Hoskin-Elliott, D Butler, A Black, B Eddy
    ( T Nankervis, L Strnadica)

23 Trades left and……. wait for it……. $541,200 cash in bank!

Don’t quite know how that happened 🙂

I’ve been a miser, knowing cash will be hard to get this year and started with a mid price madness team, which to be fair, isn’t doing to badly.

I know you’ll all say splash the cash but, I’m thinking hang on a week or two, and then double upgrades like Pendles and Rockliffe in a week or two.

Need to avoid a Donut in fwd line if Eddy doesn’t get named, current thought is sell Eddy, move Steele to Fwds, move Adams to Mids and get Hibberd.

Any ideas for a second trade this week? Butler to Parsons for even more cash? But i’m quite tempted to go Swallow to Ablett if only we knew he would play in the guts every week and not forward

Looking forward to all your wise words of wisdom

    1. Should be able to go 1up/1down this week and still have enough left over for double upgrade next week. My first thoughts……..(just keep in mind you are 30000 spots ahead of me)………

This week – Spencer to Parsons & Hampton to elite DEF (Doc/Simmo)
Next week – Swallow to elite MID

This Week – Hampton to EVW & Spencer to elite FWD (or take a chance on Heeney)
Next week – Swallow to elite MID & Marchbank to elite DEF

Pretty strong position to be in, Mutts

      1. Well if Nothing else, you’ve made me think!!!

For some reason I was going to try and hold Spencer till he was back, Why? I don’t know!

Oh no, I’m now looking at missy /)

      2. I actually sold Simpson a few weeks back for Adams, my one sideways trade, look a bit of an idiot after this week !

        1. Mutley.

I think Swallow and Spencer need to go first.

Spencer to Parsons. Then Swallow to Pendles.

This will allow you to double upgrade next week. 1 forward 1 back.

          1. Looking at that, thanks.

Might go Gaz instead, only in 6% of teams, Pendles price shouldn’t be too different next week.

I know I need to work on Fwds and Def, want Laird asap and also Macrae and Doc straight after the R11 bye

  24. 446.4k cash

DEF :Shaw, Laird, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, Newman (Stewart, EVH)

MID :Danger, Kennedy, Bont, Treloar, Fyfe, Oliver, O’Meara, SPP (Florent, Balic, Fisher)

    RUCK : Nank, Sandi (Cameron)

FWD :Dahlhaus, Macrae, Steele, WHE, Roughy, Taranto (Parfitt, Eddy)

    23 trades remaining.

Outlook is bleak this week with Nank, Dahl and Parfitt all taking the piss.

I surely can’t pass on Pendles at this price given he is THE target player. Now I just need to decide whether to cover Nank with a premo ruck (who are all a week from basement price) or to bring in Hibberd before his price goes up.

    Suggestions welcome.

  25. My team as of the end of round 6 (ranked 2855):

DEF: Docherty, Laird, Lloyd, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Selwood, Bontempelli, Fyfe, JPK, Beams, Parfitt (injured) (Barrett, Fisher, Hibberd (NM))

    RUC: Sandilands, Witts (Lukehole)

FWD: Dahlhaus, Franklin, Nankervis (suspended), Steele, WHE, Houston (Balic, Parsons)

    $288,600 in the bank

  26. 38k Cash and 24 Trades left

DEF: Laird, Adams, Simpson, Otten, Marchbank, Newman (Hampton, Stewart)

MID: Murphy, Dangerfield, T.Mitchell, Fyfe, JP Kennedy, Treloar, Beams, SPP (Fox, Barrett, Fisher)

    RUC: Martin, Sandilands (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlhaus, Nankervis, Macrae, Greene, Butler, Parfitt (Hannan, Eddy)

Forward line had a really bad week.

I will trade Parfitt << Parsons

Eddy doing well in SANFL would be close to getting named? Hannan may be dropped for Hogan.

Should i think long term by copping the donuts and upgrade Beams to Pendles or Bont

  27. Def: Laird, Howe, Shaw, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton (Stewart, Newman)
Mid: Danger, Yeo, T Mitchell, Fyfe, Treloar, Beams, Steele, SPP (Taranto, Florent, Fisher)
    Ruck: Sandilands, Ryder (Witts)
Fwd: Dahlhaus, Macrae, Nank, WHE, Butler, Houston (Balic, Eddy)

25 trades left, $294k in the bank.

Looking at probably holding this week, playing far too many Rookies on field still, but waiting for cows to fatten before upgrading.

  28. Def: Doc, Adams, Touhy,Shaw, McGrath, Newman (bench Hampton, Melican)
Mid: Slone, Murphy, JSelwood, Danger,Martin, fyfe, beams, taranto – bench (picket, barret, fisher)
ruck – sandi, witts – bench (strnadica)
    fwd: yeo, dahl,macrae,steele,whe,balic – bench (hannan,black)

    147k in bank

been a little heavy on the trades early, with some silly rookie choices.

    2802 overall.

  29. DEF: Laird, Adams, Docherty, Otten, Marchbank, Hampton, (Newman, Stewart)

MID: Dangerfield, Treloar, Bontempelli, Kennedy, Fyfe, Beams, O’Meara, Powell-Pepper (Fox, Barrett, fox)

    RUCK: Witts, Sandilands (Strnadica)

FWD: Dahlahus, Franklin, Nankervid, Lynch, Butler, Houston (Balic, Eddy)

    22 Trades left

    448.5k in the bank

Every bit of advice is helpful. Planning 2 trades this week with O’Meara getting the flick then bringing Parsons in (if named) otherwise it could be Black

    1. With your remaining cash you could upgrade Marchbank and Hampton to Shaw and Simpson as they have both bottomed out and leave O’Meara to next week. This means you shouldn’t have to worry about the backline again except for injury and the final upgrade of Otten.

But with the lack of cash generating rookie options this year a 1 up and 1 down this week seems a great option. Then you should have enough cash to make 2 upgrades next week and then RD 9 SPP could be traded to Myers.

  30. DEF
Laird, Adams, Docherty, Tuohy, Otten, Newman, Marchbank, Hampton
    Dangerfield, M.Murphy, Bontempelli, Fyfe, T.Mitchell, D.Beams, Treloar, Taranto, D.Swallow, B.Parfitt, Powell-Pepper
    Witts, Sandilands, Preuss
Dahlhaus, Nankervis, Steele, Hoskin-Elliott, Balic, Butler, Houston, Eddy

Sitting at rank 127 overall, I want to be extra careful to get through the byes without a doughnut so i can potentially climb a bit higher. Only about 200 points behind the leader at the moment

$140.8k in the bank with 24 trades remaining

    Trades this week:
    OUT – Parfitt, Swallow
    IN – Parsons/Black & a premo with a round 12 bye (Cotchin, Martin, Selwood, Yeo, JJK…)

  31. Ollir.

    Thats one awesome team.

If I was you I would be taking a serious look at the Strength of Schedule of the Round 12 bye players you are thinking of bring in.

Who out of WC/ RICH/ CATS. has the easiest draw the second half of the year.

Best of luck for the rest of your year.

    1. Nice team.

To avoid a donut. You may need to trade Eddy to Parsons if he’s not named.

Marchbank upgrade would be my other trade.

      Simpson/ Hibberd.

Both look pretty good value this week.
