Real Deal Rd14 #2 – Jack Gunston (HAW)

Written by Schwarzwalder on June 21 2018

Four tons and three scores of 90+ have Jack Gunston entering the calculations for many Supercoaches over the last ten weeks.  Clarko seemed to give Gunston more of a run across half-back against Adelaide and the signs are good if he continues to play there.

Keep in mind that the Hawks have a great run towards the Finals with only two remaining games against Top8 sides (GEE & SYD).  Is it worth bringing in Gunston to our final line-ups?

Is Jack Gunston a viable option for the last ten weeks?

  1. He’s spent most of his career playing forward, and has tended to average 90+. There may well be some extra points on offer if he keeps his current role, but I don’t think Gunston’s capacity to score well is as role-dependent as people seem to think.

    He also never misses games.

Personally, I brought him in a while ago.

  2. @ 444.7K he’s well priced for someone who’s likely to score consistently as a F5 or F6. He’s coming in to my team most likely.
