Real Deal – TeeMac (MEL)

In seven games this season, Tom McDonald has belted out an impressive 113 average.  He has seemingly cemented his spot in the Top6 FWDs/DEFs, depending on your preferred placement of him in your team.  His price has risen from $465k to $556k and he now has a BreakEven of just 50……you’ll have to pay a pretty penny to get him into your team!

Can T-Mac continue on in this vein of form?  Or will he fade out?  Will the foot injury (that hampered his pre-season) flare up again?  Is T-Mac the real deal in 2018?

      1. I got him after he played two rounds…very happy with that and his dpp is precious. Hard to justify a kpp at his price now though. I thought he was my “trade of the year”, but that goes to getting Ollie Ollie Ollie oi oi oi after his bye.

  3. I only have one upgrade left so price is a lot less important to me than potential scoring. I went off Gray because I only saw him scoring in the 90s as a forward but last night he got some mid time again which has thrown me off. Thus I don’t know who to get next week to complete my team,

    TU: McDonald
    TD: Gray

    1. Gray is a tremendous player but I just do not know from week to week what his forward line stints look like and how much time on ball.

  4. His form is remarkable. He has played almost every game for the past four seasons. His run home is good. The first SC final is v GCS. Three of four SC finals are at the MCG. His DPP works with Sicily. There is always a risk but he seems to be worth it.

  5. Isn’t he scoring highly purely off the back of big bags of goals? That’s a dangerous game to play – goals can disappear quickly if the team’s form dries up.

  6. I’d like to see some heat maps but it looks like he is a running machine and the commentators often mentions his remarkable tank and athleticism.

Has he taken the tank/contested mark champ/goal kicking sniper torch from nick reiwoldt?
