Rocky Road

Written by Motts on July 15 2015

Ever tried to catch a falling knife? That was akin to the experience of snaffling Tommy Rockliff between Rounds 6 and 9 when he sat firmly in the $400k’s with ribs that weren’t quite healed from a knock in Round 1. No one knew that of course and when he announced on Twitter that he’d just broken all 3 again, the collective groans went up from Supercoaches around the nation.

He’s now back after a 6 week lay-off and in his first game against Sydney he banged out a 126 and shot up to $510k which as we all know is still incredibly cheap for a bloke of his calibre.

Schwarzwalder polled GAJ yesterday. Today, we’re polling a poor man’s alternative.

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

  1. Maybe as a luxury upgrade, happy to pay 550 to watch him for a few more weeks

  2. I was considering rocky over gaz for my last mid. Then maybe spending a bit more on my last defender. It will also cost one less trade that way .like many this year I’ve had a terrible run so I’ll only have 2 or 3 trades left after my last 2 upgrades. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Will rocky average anywhere near gaz?
    Tu get gaz
    Td go rocky

  5. have the cash for gaz but being down to 7 trades and needing 3 upgrades still, the extra 160k will be very handy with limited cash generation available. Rocky for me
