Rookie mid Wallis v Iles v Wright

Written by Big Sexy on May 6 2011

I see a lot of Supercoachers (myself included) are looking at some Mid downgrades given there are a few Fwd/Def options coing in the next week or two. As such, I see the three big Midfield options having played two games are Wright, Iles and Wallis…. if you’re getting one, who? Or else, if you had to choose, who would you choose?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Note:  Consider Wallis was a Sub in his first game.

  1. Iles all the way.

Plus, you can always get Wallis next week when his sub affected 10 drops out of his pricing

  2. Iles has a bye again in two weeks. I’m not trading at all but if I did it would be for wallis. Dogs supporters predict he will rip out a 100+ game soon

  3. Iles would be my choice, but I can’t justify it

How much will these players increase in value over the next few rounds Swallow (30-40k), Heppel (30-40k), Curnow (50-60k), Harris (60-70k) and Libba (60-70k)

Compare that to Iles, who will probably increase 90-100k. Swallow seems the obvious choice, but is a trade worth 60-70k???

  4. A little off topic, but..
which rookie would you upgrade first
    Richardson or Bewick..

    Can upgrade straight to Fyfe
or Downgrade Otten and get Chapman.

    So thumps up
    Richardson
    Thumbs Down
    Bewick

  5. Iles has really good JS. He won there best and fairest I think? He has played AFL before as well and GC need as much experience as possible. And he’ll be a good M7 to cover byes for the rest of the year.
Swallow > Iles is the way to go to get $180,000 in the bank.

  6. It’s killing me but I have to trade Prestia for Iles as I am one short in mids due to Collingwood bye and libba not in. Still, it’s a $70,000 gain i guess.

So I guess my question is, are we sure of Iles talent above the other Wallis and Wright?
