Lockhart had his best game to date and despite going at a DE of 65% and registering 5 clangers for the afternoon, but 20 disposals (13 kicks), 1 goal, 4 tackles and a equal team high 8 marks left him on 86 points – welcome cover for some who were missing Whitfield.
Collins was moved on from a fair few teams during the week but a 47 point game against the Eagles and dip in cash means his time is up for good as his Breakeven matches his average. He finished up with 13 disposals (8 kicks), 5 marks and 5 1%ers for the evening.
Clark made his return to the seniors team after a week off and was popular cover for Whitfield. 41 points from 7 disposals and 4 marks was not what coaches were hoping for. His BE now matches his season average but with a 3 game average 46 points, he is a serious chance to lose more cash on top of the $1.4k he did this week.
Answerth is set to be the backline rookie downgrade choice after posting another solid score of 72 points against Sydney. A little sloppy with a DE of 57%, but given 11 of his 16 possessions were contested, all was forgiven by champion data.
St Kilda pair Joyce and Marsh were bought into the line up to combat GWS. Marsh, playing his first senior game since being delisted by Collingwood a few years ago, only collected 6 disposals but will all being contested, including taking 3 contested marks and kicking a goal, he finished on 56 points. Joyce was recalled after being omitted in Rd2 and finished on 60 courtesy of 11 disposals (6 kicks) at 91% DE and a team high 5 1%ers.
Three other rookies who played their first game on the weekend was Kielty (40), Cumming (37) and Williamson (26) but all left a lot to be desired.

Atkins was one of several Cats to pick up the slack in the middle with J.Selwood sidelined and Dangerfield injured. Collecting 23 disposals (7 kicks) at 78% DE, he had 13 contested possessions (team 3rd high), 1 mark (contested), 6 tackles and 2 %ers. He was on the verge of being ready to be culled but a timely 87 buys him another fortnight.
Butters has been over churned and after posting 30 points against Collingwood from 9 disposals, it’s time to move on.
Hately was dropped a few weeks ago after his impressive debut but was recalled against the Saints and responded with a 21 disposal (11 kick), 6 marks and a 3 tackle game earning him 85 points. He knows how to score and if he plays, will earn some nice cash but he JS is very questionable and probably depends on Josh Kellys recovery.
Stocker made his AFL debut but was very quiet with just 10 disposals for 21 points. Need to see a lot more next week if he wants to be relevant.
O’Brien continues to relish his opportunity as solo ruck and this time getting the better of Rory Lobb to finish with 22 disposals (7 kicks) at 68% DE, 5 marks (3 contested), 44 hitouts, 3 tackles, 3 1%ers and 123 SuperCoach points.

Larkey wasn’t able to back up his debut and was unable to struggle the scoreboard finishing up with just 10 disposals (4 kicks) and 4 marks for 40 points. As shown last week, he will need to kick goals if he wants a decent score.
Moore had his fair share of the ball and finished with 13 disposals (7 kicks) at 85% DE to go with 5 marks, 1 rebound 50, 2 forward 50 entries, 5 tackles, 2 1%ers and 2 goal assists for 74 points. Was omitted after his debut game in Rd3 and will pop his bubble in his next appearance.
